He stubbornly insists that this was the best decision, but his downcast eyes indicate that he knows he's lying to himself and you. Of course, making him sleep on the floor when you get to enjoy the nice bed does seem like a fitting punishment.

Kael answer wasn't entirely unexpected, but that said both knew he was probably just lying <And what does being a person of elegance has to do with getting a single room with a single bed when told otherwise?> she asks with satire and an annoyed expression, though inside it wasn't like she was really that troubled. In fact, she wasn't actually angry, if anything else his choice made her feel a bit... happy? Or relieved? Since after all at least he was able to complete this task without much problem or chasing troubles.

Still, just because she wasn't angry didn't mean she'd let him go scot-free <Since you've skimped on the additional bed, I guess you really wanted to sleep on the ground tonight?>

The young man blanches. "But you're the servant!" He practically whines, before he catches himself, too late to keep the words from creating a noose around his neck.

If Kael flirting around annoyed her, then his words right now really made her mad <Oh... a servant, is it?> she said with a tone that would make of her the incarnation of the saying “The calm before the storm” <Good, good, I forgot this servant is just the passing mercenary your respectable parents paid a misery to while begging to protect your noble ass> while saing so she slowly circled around Kael, going around him one time and half and reaching exactly behind him when she uttered the word “ass” which then she proceeded to literally kick, aiming to send the boy sprawling upon the bed.

<Good, while playing as your Master I forgot I was your Servant, so tonight I shall sleep on the floor. Good, good, good> she continued to say while remaining standing and proud, not showing the slightest intent to actually prepare the floor for sleeping, more intent on staring an hole through her so-called apprentice.

He hits the floor, not seeming to object, but still hurt that you'd do this to him. Of course, he doesn't try to get up, simply taking the discipline you assigned him as he's short on funds.

The anger she feels doesn't subsidize even after Kael willingly goes to sleep on the ground, eliciting only an <Humph!> as Sae proceeds towards the nearby table, taking her armor off along with her sword, looking at him only after she was done. Was it because she wasn't angry enough? Or because he was pitifully lying on the ground? Most of her previous rage melted just like that. Thinking that he was probably repenting on his action and that he should rest well for once that they have a bed, she even thought that she'd let him sleep on the bed with her later, though for now better to not say nothing and let him regret what he says <Do they have a bath in the room or is there a communal bath somewhere else?> she'd ask him while walking around the room, trying to see if the door on the side leaded to another room or was just a wall closet

The door does lead to a small bath room, and there's even a few pipes leading down into the ground, a rare luxury only present when certain geographical features are present. Twisting a lever, hot water begins to pour out of the spigot, likely pumped from somewhere else in the inn. That is incredibly tempting, although you're not sure how much time you want to spend bathing when you have a mischievous young man who might wander off without your care.

A bathroom was there, and it was even better than what she thought. If anything, paying for this room was worth it, wasn't it? Maybe she should go easier on Kael after she gets out. She stripped as the bath was being filled, and not much later here she was, relaxing in the hot water, the first time she did so after a long while, a luxury she couldn't really enjoy often.

As she thought of this she began to wonder if she should make this a long bath, after all who knows when she'll be able to enjoy something like this again... but would Kael stay put outside? He surely wouldn't, would he? No, he was just scolded so wouldn't he remain where he was to appease her anger? Yes, he was a brat but not that insensitive. Thinking such she leaned back and remained in the bath, continuing to enjoy it for quite a while, unless obviously something happened to interrupt.

(Perception:8) You linger in the bath, enjoying the hot water melting away your soreness. You think you hear something a few times, but looking around and listening carefully reveals nothing. Besides, Kael would have mentioned something if he had heard anything, and he hasn't left yet. Still, the hot water feels fantastic, and you're in a much better, more relaxed mood when you get out of the bath tub.

The bath is relaxing, maybe too much for her own good but who told her to pass most of her time away from this luxury of civilization? Rivers and lakes are good for baths too, but they hardly compare with a good hot tub of water. Sae doesn't pay too much attention to the noise which sometime she seems to hear, after all if something happened Kael would notice her or scream at worse, and most likely it was him looking through their baggage that made those sounds so there should be nothing to worry about. Right, there was only the hot water and how relaxed she felt inside after so long.

After spending a decent amount of time in Sae finally had enough, slowly getting out and beginning to dry herself with a nearby towel while staving off the coldness following the coming out from such warm waters, then proceeding to dress up so she could return to the room.
