Having removed the binding, you feel much safer at the fact that you can properly defend yourself. (Encounter:15) You don't find much for the first leg of the journey, but notice that scythe boy is continuing to watch you carefully.

I Sighed "Eyes searching for threats not on my ass." I told him.
"I mean, that thing about not looking a gift horse in the mouth? Well, how the fuck else are you supposed to figure out if it’s full of Greeks?”

He bows deeply, "my apologies master, I was trying to learn how you move." He tells you, but does begin to move his head, looking around. (Encounter:4) As you turn back, an arrow glances off of your shoulder armor, slamming you to one side. Bandits!

(combat: 12)

Your small shield is ready when you spot a person leap out of the bushes with a cry, nocking another arrow and loosing it to stick to your shield. You push closer to the bandit, who seems surprised at your actions, and doesn't back up quickly enough before you're on him.

At least he new not to waste his time with armor it seems, as he barely dodges away from your blow, although he does it in a manner that doesn't take him very far away from you.

You manage to hit him with your shield, only for him to roll away from you. You're getting frustrated and your 'student' tries to help, running forward and distracting the archer. Unfortunately, a spearman shows up, looking to engage you it seems.

The spearman twirls the spear, treating it like a fancy sword, and you almost blink in surprise as he lets you close with him, letting his advantage slip past. You're right in his face now, and he should be easy meat.

The man goes down as you close with him, a bit of quick swordplay enough to break his guard and smash his face in. Looking around, (combat:13) you see that there's a few opponents left, none of them ganging up on you, they're all sort of scattered around instead of formed up.

Blinking I was all to happy to approach from behind and kill some others, a Choice between whatever they would do to me or killing them I was all to happy to end them.

The group becomes rapid prey before your aggressive, rapid striking combat style to their 'blow trading' nonsense.

A quick snap of your blade flicks most of the blood off of it, but the surprising thing is how easily this ended. Or more accurately, how few of your companions did as much damage as yourself. Many of them seem to have followed your new 'students' example and tried to trade blows rather than the rapid exchange of first blows and a finisher that you've been trained in.

I sighed deeply "I see we have a lot of work to do to teach you." I said sadly about how, rather dumb he seemed to be.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

I didn't type that right. Scythe boy is being more aggressive like your own style, but the locals were all behaving like he was at the beginning.

The man nods to you eager. He seems to have enjoyed watching you make quick work of the enemy group. Still, it will take a lot of practice to undo whatever damage years of bullshit did to him.

((Ah Okay))

I Looked around "Anyone Get hurt?" I asked worried about these idiots, Even though I was the one to take out almost all the bandits, it felt like a bunch of kids trying to copy movies.
