Age of a new Queen(Earthling)

He listens intently but upon mentioning Imada's unique ability you can see his brows furrow, "Merely being able to commune with spirits in impressive enough... but to command them so thoroughly as to make them silent... Your family very well might not be the most attuned any more." He strokes his chin, a bit of dust raining down as he does so, "I must admit this makes me even more curious about your people."

[Earthling]

"I... I can tell you more... But I require a few favors from you in return..." An idea was beginning to take shape in her head "First... I need help to get rid of whatever child may be growing in my womb... Second, I wish to know of your land as well, maybe we could tell each other over a dinner?"

[Sallin_Kari]

"It appears as if the child is almost finished growing... With it's heart beating I can not bring myself to kill an innocence without pressing reason," Torkal spoke, "Though I could take the child off your hands after the birth. My lands are not for just a single race of people. Speaking of which, I would be happy to speak of each others lands over a meal."

[Earthling]

"Oh... I see..." Varianne hung her head in disappointment. Never had she imagined that her first born would have been conceived from rape. Holding back tears she nodded "Very well, so it may be..."

[Sallin_Kari]

He nods at your dejection, "I apologize for being unable to be a better host. Now, unless there is something else you wish to speak of, I suggest you get to know the local townsfolk until dinner, perhaps one of them will be able to assist you in ways I can not."

[Earthling]

"Do... You know of a healer, or medicineman?" Varianne asked, looking up once more, hopeful

[Sallin_Kari]

"I know of one... but he's not the type to stay in one place... It is hard to keep track of him. Perhaps you can find him with the help of the locals," Torkal explains, "His name is Kutharal. You will likely know him once you see him... or if he sees you first I suspect." He chuckles a bit.

[Earthling]

"Thank you, my lord... Umm..." Varianne looked around "May you escort me to the exit please? And may I have a walking staff? My... Legs are still weak."

[Sallin_Kari]

"If your legs are weak, then me escorting you would likely have the opposite affect... I tend to shake the ground as I walk," He points out, before suggesting, "I can, however, get you an escort." He taps his finger, which sounds almost like a massive wardrum, and soon enough an individual comes running in. A female came running in with very feral features, far more then kitsune. Even her clothes are feral, being little more then woven reeds with bones, hell you can see her nipples occasionally poke out from beneath her top. "Evia here can help you here."

"Umm... Greetings." Varianne bowed hesitantly, throwing a curious glance at the woman. Was it really true that there were only barbarian beyond her island? Certainly seemed that way so faraa

She bowed her head, but didn't say anything. Torkal spoke, "Don't worry, she understands you but doesn't like talking. Is there anything else you need?

[Earthling]

"Umm... Clothes I guess?" Varianne was comfortable being naked before people, she had to be. But the big question was if that was acceptable in this land

[Sallin_Kari]

"Oh... They took your clothes..." He suddenly realized, before scratching his chin a bit before saying, "I must admit I don't carry spare clothes in your size... Perhaps the tailor has a spare set he can spare. I do not know about where you come from, but you don't have to worry about the cold here, at least until winter, so you should be fine until you reach him... Unless you wish not to be seen in which case Evia can go ahead and get something."

[Earthling]

"Umm... As a Princess and Queen I'm used to people seeing me naked but... Is it really okay to just walk around without clothes here? Besides, I think this is further north than my homeland anyway... So a robe would be nice." Varianne pondered

[Sallin_Kari]

He pauses for moment, before asking clearly bewildered by the question, "Why would it not be? Clothes are primarily for keeping oneself warm, so why would it be wrong not to wear then if you do not need them for warmth? ... As for a robe, I again recommend the tailor, either yourself or Evia."

[Earthling]

"I can go, if Evia escorts me." Varianne nods with a bow before glancing at the taller, more animalistic woman, waiting for her to start leading the way

Evia nods, before leading you the door and opening it for you. Once you exit several things strike you all at once. First off and most amazing is just how vibrant the spirits are. There were dozens of them in the area flying around freely, interacting with people, and other things that you'd never see back home, as spirits generally hung around in the lightly populated holy sites or hung around those they formed contracts with. Second was that despite your unclothed form, it was indeed comfortable, a little cool, but not enough to truly be uncomfortable. Third and finally, was that there didn't seem to be a predominate population here... There was a mix of a variety of different people, and almost as many different forms of dress. From the almost naked canine creatures like Evia, to tall lanky humans with silken gowns and pointy ears, to people with wings who wore leaves if anything.

You are lead down a path from what turns out to be an immense stone castle, which almost looks like a constructed mountain with its steep sloped walls all converging into a single massive peak, but the tell-tale sign of stone blocks and windows assured you it was indeed a building. As you enter the more busy streets you do get some attention, though not for your naked form(except for the occasional appreciative lustful gaze) but that of curiosity about a new face, though Evia hurried you on preventing you from exchanging much more then hellos, before you finally enter a simple shack.

It seems pretty homely, with a sweet scent, reminiscent of the incense you used during rituals, but a bit different... it was relaxing. However, you quickly can't help but feel apprehension as you spot the occupant... A centaur. He is well dressed for a centaur and no where near as muscle bound as those you had 'encountered', though by no means lanky.

Varianne took a step back in surprise before whispering to her guide "W-Why is he here? A-Aint centaur the enemy?!"

You guide shook her head but once again said nothing, prompting the centaur to reply, "I understand my kind has... an unsavory record, but I for one, have nothing to do with them and their ways. Indeed that is why I chose to live here, to distance myself from my more... ruthless cousins. As such, I will apologize for any wrongs you have suffered at their hands, and ask that you do not tarnish me with their actions."

[Earthling]

Varianne frowned "Very well. I'm willing to give it a try. First of all, I need a robe to dress in, something befitting a queen. And still warm enought to keep me from freezing."
