Especially since they can draw power from those bonded to them, so anyone Cuthanur has sex with would also give Kat a portion of that power. I'm trying to play them that way. I would say that Scarlett is a bit more cunning, and has a larger midrange skill mastery. Kat is both better educated and younger, lending itself to both a large variety of low level knowledge, as well as advanced education in statecraft and a few other very specific subjects. Plus, Scarlett is still a bit worn down from a few decades of mind numbing police work. As things get better, she'll probably be a bit more sarcastic, but I don't want her to be as catty/humorous as I'm making Kat in her personal life.

"Oh, there goes my plan to abscond with my innocent husband and ravage him in my bed. Curses, the jig is up." I tell him, moving over to where they keep the small bits of candied fruit. I learned that particular lesson early, and now have a small supply of things which will properly alter my breath and taste so as not to reveal too much.

To be honest, Scarlet doesn't strike me as cunning as much as militarily minded. She's very straight forward in her thinking, setting clear goals and figuring out what needs to be done to accomplish them.

He laughs at that, before adding, "No no... just delayed." As you pull out the candied fruit you notice the glint in his eye changes to curiosity. He must not recognize them.

To me cunning has more to do with understanding others and using their own thoughts and behaviors against them. Which is why there is also such a thing as low cunning, that even relatively simple creatures can use. But Scarlet hasn't really done anything like that.

He raises an eyebrow by your comment, muttering "Tainted?" Shaking his head, he drops the subject, "Very well, what is the next order of business?"

From the looks of it there are two items that you should take care of since you're with your future husband. First off, you need to teach him the etiquette and dancing skill required for your wedding and second off there is the prototype cart being made.
