Name: Maria Vaan
Appearance: http://orig07.deviantart.net/1c21/f/200 ... ar_fcp.jpg
Class: Rouge
Weapon: a pair of knives
Bio: a young woman from a small village, with a mind for mischief and adventure, from a young age, she’d played tricks on people and occasionally pick a pocket, learning how to fight too, she wasn’t great, but as she came of age, she became bored of her surroundings and soon felt an urge to move on, leave her home behind and find adventure where she could, and find fame and fortune…. Or that was her plan, at least.

Well, you finally did it. After spending time fighting the rats and weak monsters around your hometown of Westglen, getting stronger and saving money, you set out on your own for real today. You are just finishing lunch at the crossroads that also marks the furthest you've ever been from home. You have three choices now ahead of you, unless you get creative, anyways. You can keep following the main road, which should bring you to Severton by nightfall, according to the merchant who regularly visits Westglen. Or you can take the less used road that runs through a deeper part of the forest, but is a shortcut to the capitol city of Everspring. Finally, you can turn around and go back home.

I wasn't going to turn back, and it seemed like going to Severton would be safer, but I'm certain I can take whatever is in the woods and then I could get to the capitol quicker which didn't seem like a bad idea

(encounter roll: 14, I'll do a few dice rolls to help determine what happens, do we want to do some of that for combat as well?)

Your trek starts out well enough, and you are easily able to defeat the few monsters that you encounter, which are no stronger than what you'd find at home. But as the sun sets, you realize that you haven't found anywhere good to spend the night. A moment after you realize this, however, you find a clearing, likely a regular camping spot for the few travelers that still use this road. And a moment later, you discover that one of those other travelers is already here, as a knight steps out of the treeline around the clearing. "Oh! Hello!" he calls in a friendly way.

(combat rolls are good,)
I was surprised to find someone else, but glad that I'd have someone else who could keep watch assuming he was as friendly as he seemed" hello " I say as I walk over, I look him over carefully," What are you doing out here?" I ask him

"I'm a royal knight," he says. "I've been sent to investigate this road, to see if it is still serviceable or if we need to warn people away from it." He dumps the armload of wood he was carrying into a stone ring in the center of the clearing. "And you?"

"Not along the main trail," he says. "However, there are several side trails that lead off into the woods, and there are some nasty things waiting down some of those if you aren't careful, so we'll need to make sure to set up warning signs." He then looks at you for a moment. "Westglen, eh? I'm due to spend the night there tomorrow. Can you tell me what to expect?"

"it's nice, reasonably small, quite, not a lot goes on, but it's peaceful," I tell him trying to think of anything of note about my home town but the wasn't a lot

"Sounds like a good place to take a break," he says with a smile. "Though probably not an easy place to find a girl to tumble in the hay," he adds with a wink.

I blush lightly " no... I wouldn't think so" I tell him, " so do you mind if I camp with you?" I ask him figuring I'd change the subject

He's obviously disappointed, but shrugs and says. "Why not? There's nowhere else good to camp for at least an hour the way you're going." He then begins lighting a fire with the wood he gathered.

I nod, " I think if you wanted a woman... for that kind of thing, you'd have to try Severton, it's bigger and the merchants seem to like it a lot" I tell him uncertainly

"Fair enough," he says. "Too bad I wasn't lucky enough to find a willing girl here," he adds as the wood finally ignites.

" well... we are in the middle of no wear, and I've not done that kind of thing before..." I tell him awkwardly not sure how I should really respond to this kind of thing

"I would be more than happy to teach you, if you're interested," he says. "Besides, sexy girl like you out here on your own, someone may end up beating you and taking advantage of you, so why not let your first time be pleasant?" he adds with a grin.

"Exactly." he says. "It's always better to have somebody to share blankets with. But enough about that. Let's start by getting some food ready." The flames are growing larger, making a nice blaze, so he goes to his bundle of supplies and grabs a chunk of SOMETHING that you don't quite recognize. It's meat, but it's not meat you're familiar with.

" whats that?" I ask him curiously looking it over , wondering if I had anything we could eat with it, not that we'd actually need it, there was more than enough to last me a few days there

"Lizard meat. There's several large reptiles deeper in the woods, in an area where it almost becomes a swamp. Be careful around them, though if you stay on the trail you should be fine." He then begins roasting the lizard over the fire.

I nod, " I'll bare that in mind thanks. I've never eaten Lizard before," I tell him " is it nice?" I ask curiously looking at the strange meat, as he begins to cook it
