I look around and smile at the guards before looking back at my soldiers "take them out, but let them leave, do what you must to get info about the king...i'm going to look for it myself while you do so...Arran...come with me!" i added before waiting my soldiers to distract the guards before heading deeper into the keep to search room after room for the king.

Arran nods " okay," he says with a nod as he follows you, " chances are he's trying to escape, he might not be in the citadel anymore, but the city's surrounded, we have the tunnels under the city, we'll have him soon" Arran tells you

"alright...lets search the castle to make sure tho..." i added while exploring the now deserted Keep, going from room to room wondering if the king was still there.

he wasn't in the keep, but from what you could see he was in the passages beneath it, you found an entrance which would have been impossible to find had it not been closed hastily, and hadn't shut properly

Drorys Sighs in the sight of the entrance and how fast this man was. but before nightfall this kingdom would belong to House Sarskin. Drorys enters the passages and runs as fast as he could looking for the emperor and trying to focus to hear his and his family's footsteps.

if the passage branched you'd have been in trouble, but it seemed to be a straight forward escape tunnel and that meant that you'd catch up soon enough, at the moment you were, ahead of your kinsmen and allies and the emperor couldn't be far ahead of you

I made sure to keep running forward hoping that soon all of this will be over and the kingdom will finally be at peace.

after a little while, you started to hear desperate footsteps up ahead of you as the emperor and his family fleed for they're lives
