"Awesome" for some reason i started to think about that assassin, i was worried, i mean, she did her part of the deal, but i wonder if she managed to escape the city...i shake my head and help the soldiers that were struggling, i wasn't dumb enough to head for the Royal keep on my own and face the royal guards...

Arran was with you as where a few other soldiers and the boats where landing, you could probably take the keep with the men with you, but if you weren't sure you'd have more soon enough, as the army started to regroup around you

With the ones i had i thought it was enough, if we needed more, they will join us at the keep later "LETS GO!" I yelled before rushing towards the royal keep.

as you approached the keep, you noticed the assassin sitting on the battlements above it, she seemed to be waiting for you, and once she saw you, she gave you a thumbs up, then got back onto the wall and disappeared

"huh?" i said as i didn't understand what she meant, she was supposed to be out of the city..anyways i got close to the gates and open them before rushing in with my soldiers.

she was gone so it was impossible to ask her, and there where other things to worry about now, like getting into the keep

we smash open the door and get inside, now its where the fight truly begin, with the doors of the battlements open we needed to make our way towards the keep while fighting the soldiers protecting it...

it seemed most of the soldiers had been in the city, there wheren't all that many guards and your forces where more than enough to subdue them, in fact one or two of them had surrendered when they heard you coming

"capture them, do not kill the cowards..." i yell at my men as i order a couple to take them while the rest of us make our way to the keep, finally there, we do our best to take down the door and enter.

the door was barred and it seemed sturdy you might need a ram or at least some heavy axes to break through it

"Fuck!" i added before taking a look around "Look for the armory, they must have an armory around her somewhere!" i added as i tried to figure out how to break in since our heave soldiers were still in town battling...

a number of soldiers run off to find weapons, and the area near you for now was quiet for now, you'd either killed or subdued the soldiers in your way

i took a deep breath and tried to relax since i had time for this, hopefully the soldiers who infiltrated the city would have closed any underground escape route...hopefully...

after what seemed like ages a group of soldiers returned each with a bundle of axes and the like

"Take down the door" i order them while giving a few steps backwards to let them work freely.

a number of men grab axe and they start working on breaking it down, splinters went everywhere as they smashed through the sturdy wood, and fifteen minutes later they'd knocked it down.

finally, we rushed inside the keep, invading and keeping an eye open and a sword up, ready to battle.

the guards inside where quickly overwhelmed leaving the path to the throne room clear

i rushed towards the throne room, sword in hand, ready to finish this war now.

when you reach the thrown room you find it almost empty, a few guards stood ready but the king wasn't in there
