Fallout: the girl from 997[dndman997]

Bio: Drusilla is from Vault 997 which is located somewhere in Indiana. She worked as a mechanic in the water filtration plant, and practiced marksmanship in her spare time with BB gun and a .22 pistol.

it was just another day in the Vault, and you where at work as usual there didn't seem to be any issues and the work was easy. just as you where settling in for what you thought would be an easy day of work when an alarm tells you that one of the filters needs replacing you dive through the part storage looking for a filter. soon you realise that you where down to one the rest of them where broken, you wouldn't even be able to salvage on from this. on investigation you realise that it wasn't the only part that you where lacking, if any of those parts went wrong the vault would be in a lot of trouble. once you replaced the filter you head for the overseers office, he would have to deal with it.

the overseer, was sat behind his desk examining something he looks up at you and asks " can I help Drusilla?" he didn't look too worried but that would soon change

"sir" she said annoyed that she couldnt fix the filter "one of filters on the purification machine is damaged and it seems like we are out of fresh ones" she stated she didnt want trouble "though i found one but it seems theres a lot more missing parts wise as well"

"and what do you want me to do about it, this vault is old, we've been down here 200 years, and we can't make the parts here, " he points out, seeming weary as ever, "so If you have a solution lets hear it" he says

"thats what i came here for" she said "i came for advice"

[sogekik]

he sighs " well if we can't make them here, and we're out of spares, someone will have to go out into the wastes and hope we can find another vault with the parts we need, someone who knows what they're looking for, someone like...." he looks at you waiting for you to come to the same conclusion

"yeah but isnt that usually forbidden?" she said looking down knowing that the vault hasnt been opened in years, at least to her knowledge.

He shakes his head, " normally yes, but if it's for the benifit of the vault it's okay

[dndman997]

"were would i go" she asked "and i dont know what i would bring with me" she was a bit frightened, she knew of the horrors out there in the wasteland.

[sogekik]

"I can give you the location of another vault, if it's still functioning they may still have spares, or be able to make more, and we can give you a better gun and some ammo, a few days worth of food, "

[dndman997]

"that would be nice" she said with a nod "thank you overseer if theres anything else i can do for you let me know."

" nope that will be more than enough, I'll tell the quarter master that you can take anything you want from the armory, within reason of course, and I will get a pipboy sorted out for you, do you think a day will be enough to prepare or will you want longer?" He asks

She stood up straight looking at the overseer. "yes a day should be enough time" she said before bowing to him. Her ample breasts shown a bit of cleavage as she did before she headed to the armoury. She remembered coming here before when she was young, the quartermaster was always stern.

The quartermaster looks up as you approach, giving a noticeable sigh " can I help?" He asks as if your very presence made his life harder

"The Overseer has asked me to go out to the wasteland to seek out things that we need" she said standing up straight again trying to be formal "he sent me here to get what i should need for the trip"

He sighs " I know, he messaged me, what do you want?" He asks " just tell me what you need and I'll get it for you" he says tiredly

"actually im not sure" she said "i thought i would get your input sir" she nodded and looked around the area trying to window shop from were she is at.

The range was a little larger than in other vaults, and contained a lot of basic fire arms, 9&10 mm pistols, hunting rifles, some assault rifles, and shotguns, even a combat shotgun"

"hmm" she said going over to the rifle section, her vault suit hugged her body tightly so left very little to the imagination though there were oulines of a thong and a bra underneath "i think i will take a hunting rifle and maybe a 10 mm pistol sir"

He sighs " right, well if that's all you want" he gets up and unlocks the relevant cases then places the guns on the table in the middle of the room" there we go" he says, both guns where unloaded and he hadn't given you any ammo

"now how much ammo do you think i need" she said bending down to give the weapons a good examination. Her accuracy with a rifle was pretty known throughout the vault. well at least with her bb gun and against rad roaches.
