Unfortunately most of your hunter gear had to be pawned off in order to pay for furnishings and tools for your ranch. While Elrick was willing to give you the rights to the ranch for pennies, it was striped bare after the incident with the previous owner. You still have some minor equipment like traps, baits, and other things like that but nothing particularly useful against human and a leather jerkin, and while not the best armor, is better then nothing. For weaponry, you figure that one of the farm tools can make a dangerous weapon in a pinch if Fion doesn't have extras. Alternatively you can go ahead and try to buy a weapon from that dwarven smith working on Drake's weapons.

Well, more foreshadowing a future event. The bandits will be interrogated and their base located. Laura will have the chance to join in on the raid on it.

I rub at the back of my neck, thinking about what is going on. Traveling back to town would take the entire day, and leave almost no time to actually scout around. Without any weapons, I'm no good, and I'm not ready to engage with just two fighters able to do anything, and two more almost useless through lacking a weapon or being badly injured. I give a sigh. "We'll stay around the area for now, just an hour or so walk away hunting. Hopefully, we can either spot them or capture a few possible... tradeable items to get some useful weapons." I tell Tallie. "I'll talk to Drake and see if he can't create some kind of warning system for us to come back if something happens. If you're worried, we can wait until Viala comes back with some guards."

I begin to think about what I might be able to get done. If Tallie doesn't have any more questions, I'll seek him out, asking how many of the bandits he'd have to kill to get everyone healed back up and ready to go. I recall that Pepper was good with a heavy instrument, if she hadn't been so weak. If it's just one to get everyone up and ready, I might be willing to do it. Still, I'd rather have the reward and not a reputation for executing bandits, so a few captured orcs would likely do better. Speaking of, I ask what kind of comparison orcs and other local creatures are likely to get if sacrificed for blood magic.
