Dressed, the lot of them have a quick breakfast before head out to the motorcade that was waiting to take them where the politicians and press was waiting to meet them. This was going to be an interesting day to say the least.

The politics themselves aren't terribly interesting, about what you'd expect from this major of an event though. Various political staff try to draw you into aligning yourself with them, but you and Trista manage to steer everyone from making any promises to anyone. Yeah, we can skip that part though If you want. We have however, both completely forgot that Pina and Boze were supposed to come along on this little trip thing as well. We can just rehash that later though. Maybe a second trip after the whole episode where Pina is captured and stuff.

If you want to do the terrorist/hostile special forces thing though, we can sort of mimic the whole 'secluded hot spring in the woods' scene from the anime. Maybe write it as an intentional trap with no actual combat for simplicity? Or we can just let it be a surprise and let Larena handle everything Rory style. Or whatever you want really. I'm certainly okay with surprises!

The event itself is both as boring as Crysta had feared while still having it's highlight of entertaining moments. Mainly the first reactions when they say the other worldly women and their light garments(Miyuki in particular with that skimpy magic armor), and the gathered politicians certainly had a hard time believing that Amra or Larena were as old as they said they were. Things go pretty well overall though, but for some reason some of the gathered people seemed to trying to paint the NATO task force in some demonizing matter. They seemed to be fishing for some kind of statement from them that they had been mistreated in some way. As to why or what end those few elected officials where trying to pursue such a narrative Crysta or Trista couldn't say, but it is clear by the frustration of said politicians that none of the girls where giving them any of the ammo they were hoping for. Which was great really. Always fun to see power hungry idiots get nothing, just as they deserve.

After a few hours a break is called, in which Crysta tags along with the girls to an area reserved just for them. "Great job girls! Your making a great impression I'd say. When Larena had asked, they had told her they were weapons that could wipe entire cities out. So, this was my big plan to shift Larena's allegiances away from Walmir and will cover the long term background plot as Larena breaks away from Walmir and tries to forge a new religion. As a result, PCs will get sent to harass and topple other demi-gods to show that Walmir is a little bitch and Larena is the goddess of real power. That's because the other options for dealing with Walmir are 'ignore him and the natural disasters he causes' or 'slaughter or forcibly convert his followers' neither of which is likely to be popular.

You don't see any new red dots form, so it seems that Larena was thinking of how it might inconvenience you.
