"Okay...well im inside.." The solider pondered what to send out but the obvious message would have to be a Mayday or something along those lines declaring that the aliens have over run he city and that she needed evac.

Sarah sent the distress call but she heard no response. There was no way of telling if it had reached any relay stations to make its way back to base or not... for now it looked like she had to figure out a plan for surviving the alien infested city until help arrived. Speaking of survival she was now vaguely aware of her fatigue and hunger it had been a rather taxing day with no rest.

Sarah let out a yawn when she finally noticed how tired she was, normally she'd try to get the fuck out of here, but as of right now...she was stuck behind enemy lines without back up. She had a shotgun with at most 10 shots and thats it...Well the store she was in is fairly safe, she could use it as her base until she finds out she has back up, for now she'll find a corner store to find some snacks and something to drink then if its safe maybe get a quick power nap.

Moving on down the road Sarah finds a small shop that's unlocks and slips inside to begin gathering food. Thankfully everything was still in good condition as the city hadn't been abandoned/abducted to long ago. However a sudden loud bang interrupts her scavenging. Turning she could see the strange creature from the radio station crawling across tiles in the front of the store. Sarah ducked behind a few shelves out of sight even if the thing appeared to be blind. Now it was stuck between her and the exit...

Ducked behind her shelves Sarah tries to calm herself down as much as possible then grabbing a can and throwing it as far as she could to the opposite side of the store then silently move out of the store back to the radio store and locking that door as fast as she could.

Sarah glances out and grabs a can tossing it as far as she could. The rattling noise made the creature tilt its head and move to investigate. From there she began to quietly cross to the street... but her foot bumped into a glass bottle that had been discarded and the creatures head snapped back around hissing in her general direction. Suddenly it began to skitter on all fours heading right for her!
