The year is 2020 and the world hasn't changed that much, but it's about to. Inderis Corporation is a firm largely concerned with genetic and biological engineering and it has some of the best scientists in the world working toward improving and altering the human condition. The world will face the repercussions of these experiments in time and will learn the cold, hard lesson, that humans cannot play God.

A lunar colony was built in 2017, funded by corporations largely to avoid corporate regulation, and in 2018 and 2019 two more were constructed. One such colony was constructed by Inderis, as their experiments were known for testing moral boundaries constantly. The government has been watching them for a long time and now that they've moved outside of lawful jurisdiction, who knows what the company has done. CIA Agent Elizabeth Black was sent in a shuttle undercover as part of an investor group to spy on and learn everything she could about Inderis' operations on the moon. However, things did not go as planned.

After being led on a tour by the company's spoke person, Gerold Willstedt, Black quickly separated from the investor group and began to meander about the labs on her own, successfully avoiding detection. She saw nothing too out of the ordinary until she came across a restricted access elevator. After hacking it, she found out there was a secondary security port that was unbreakable and required retinal scan, though she did learn the company -had- to be hiding something as the elevator itself had fifty restricted levels beneath the surface. Lunar Colony 3, funded by Inderis, was the size of a small city to start, and now there were fifty other floors that nobody has ever heard about. Her elation of the discovery was short lived when the security drones found her and despite her best efforts, their shock arms knocked her out.

As you open the door, you see a narrow but brightly lit hallway. There's a half-dozen other similar doors, perhaps other holding cells, but all of them are closed. At the end of the hall, the corridor leads left and right and you see nor hear any other living soul. You do notice a security camera at the end of the hall watching the hallway. If anyone was looking through it, they already saw you peeking through, but no alarm was sounding and nobody seemed to be around. Most corporations don't require this stringent of security nor actual cells for prisoners. The dirt against Inderis was building by the minute.

You could try to interface with it to find more information, or you could continue through the room out of the hallway on the wall opposite your entrance, or you could go backwards to follow the hallway down the way you didn't go yet.

The room gave her the creeps, not a soul and it looks like the coffee is still hot in some of these cups. When she notices the large computer she takes the opportunity to access it for more information, maybe it can tell her how to get out since the entire place doesn't seem to be designed as a prison.

You have a surprisingly easy time getting into it, whoever was on it left themselves logged in, possibly a supervisor. You find mostly tertiary information. Work logs, weekly schedules, project assignments, and other data you were mostly aware of in your research before the mission. However, a few things do catch your interest. First of all, you confirm that you're on the 1st basement level and that this level, as well as every level below it, doesn't even show up on the building floor plans to personnel working there. Secondly, you see several vague mentions of "Project Adam." Several e-mails mention it being incredibly significant and how the public "cannot know," but nothing substantial indicating what it is or what the Project's purpose is. You do find indications that the high security level projects are in the lower levels, that officially don't exist.

Your hacking ability allows you to create a fake I.D. in the system for you. The screen scans your retina without warning and you now have retinal access to floors B1 through B3. You could investigate further, as Project Adam seems rather big, or you could try to find your gear by exploring the rest of the floor or taking the elevator back up. The risk of being caught, if they were even looking for you, likely raises by the moment.

Project Adam? What could that possibly be. She looks over more and more of the files confirming a lot of her suspicions and fears. She needed her weapons and armor quick so she decided to look it. Even back tracking and going into the direction she hasn't explored yet.

You backtrack and follow the hallway the opposite direction. It goes on for quite a bit longer, a straight hallway a 100 feet long with no doors until you come to a doorway that's wide open. It seems to be a small office, though much bigger than the cubicle spaces you saw earlier and on the desk is your serrated reserve knife. Small enough to hide, but big enough to kill. The computer in here is shut off surprisingly, indicating whoever this was likely had a forewarning.
Nothing else in here unless you're interested in pen and paper. IF you try to hack the computer, it has much tougher encryption and seems to be unbreakable without your suit or your personal PDA.
Heading back to the main room toward the last hallway, you pass by the cubicles without an issue and follow the last hallway that simply ends on the reserve elevator. You've come to notice all the hallways here rather narrow than the ones on Earth, likely due to the developers compacting as much as they can. The ceilings are only about 7ft tall and the corridors are barely 4ft wide.
As you enter the elevator, you can head from B1 to B2 or B3. If you try to head up, you find the terminal is unresponsive and you may be locked out of going back up for now.

She made a mental note to revisit the room when she got her equipment back, this office likely belonged to an officer and should contain more valuable data.
