Rules-
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The game will run in phases, with phases taking varying amounts of time due to the amount of rping out of a phase, and whether anything of note happens. There are two phases to each day in the game- Day phase and Night phase. The game will work on a schedule of the PC having planned out the course of the next two weeks. Events for each phase will be determined by a series of d20 rolls.

Note: Some actions will take multiple phases, but may be broken up between day and night.

The roll results will be as follows for the system-
the first roll
1-5: A major problem occurs
6-10: A minor problem occurs
11-15: A minor solution presents itself
16-20: A major solution presents itself

the second roll (occurs after you respond to the first roll)
1-5: Purely Negative results
6-10: A positive amidst the negative
11-15: A negative amongst the positive
16-20: Purely Positive results

So, for example say your character is overseeing the construction of a new factory zone, and I roll a 3. A section of the construction collapses, trapping some of the workers. You react by having your character react quickly and decisively. I roll to see how it goes, and you get a 19. Your quick action and leadership spurs a rapid response from the rest of the construction teams, and rather than the colonies news agencies focusing on the fact that the accident happened, they focus on the rescue itself and how much of a great leader you are.

You are the leader of a just recently colonized world, selected due to your own skills at management on large scale projects and at working with others. You and your fellow colonists left the territory of the ISF because they felt the government was too overbearing and corrupt. Your world needs someone who can help lead it to becoming a well developed and strong interplanetary civilization. Be wary however, for this region of space has many threats, and if you find yourself relying too much on the help of the InterStellar Federation, your peoples independence may be swept aside as the ISF resolves your debts to them by taking control of your world.

PC:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Name- Cecilia Defazio
Age- 27
Gender- Female
Race- Human (Partial Cat Morph)
Description- A tall, well-curved woman of 5'11". She has long blonde hair with cute little triangluar ears poking out from amongst it, green eyes with feline pupils and an hourglass figure- D cup breast, a narrow waist and wide hips, flowing into shapely legs. A blonde-furred tail sprouts from her lower back. Her skin is flawless and smooth, her body entirely hairless apart from that on her head.

Bio- Having been a business manager and political leader for the better part of her twenties, Cecilia knew plenty well just how overbearing that the ISF could be. After all, she was a big part of them. She'd been on several different planets, having had to move constantly for both business and politics, constantly having to adapt and learn new cultures and languages- something she could quite easily do, considering how sharp and cunning a mind she has. Of course, if she ever got in trouble, a few good words, perhaps a shake of her hips or two and some cleavage, would usually get her out of it- as a result, she was never particularly good at fighting or really understanding military. Too pacifistic, too cowardly. The type to hide behind others if things turned bad. Which was something that the ISF quite loved to take advantage of, more often than not intimidating her to keep her in line should she question rather than giving her incentives. And so she broke off in order to colonise this new planet, all in order to escape the oppressive thumb of the ISF.

Stats- 30 points, max of 10, with 10 being absolute best and 1 being horrible

Skills-
Charming: Cecilia's always been naturally quite sensual- always good at telling when people found her attractive in any sense and abusing it for gain, be it sexual attraction or simply taking a liking to her. If there's an opening, she'll almost always take it if she can see benefit in both short and long term.
Cunning: Playing into her charms, Cecilia's mind is very sharp. Forethought and planning are necessary with her work, but it certainly helped that she could think on her feet. Likely the only reason she really survived some situations in her life, really. She has an answer for almost anything as a result- be it a dangerous situation or just a card game.
Sexual prowess: Pun unintended, Cecilia's a tiger in the sack. She's had to 'negotiate' more than once in her life with higher ups and people she's had to make connections with in business. Didn't hurt that it was one of her favourite pastimes as well...

You stand in the office that has been awarded to you after the top members of the colonial council decided you should lead the colony into its new life as an independent world. The room is spacious and modern looking, but currently unadorned. Understandable, given you just got here. Outside a large series of windows (which you realize are actually holographic panels showing the outside of the building) is the sprawling metropolis that is the Capital of Argononis. The citizens haven't picked a name for it yet, but that's one of the things you'll no doubt be dealing with in the coming days.

"Madame?" A voice calls out, and one of the panels switches to a video feed, showing you your secretary, a young man named Cereniger. "The list of possible candidates for your cabinet are available now."

Your computer terminal on your desk beeps, and a list of people who would best serve as your advisors and representatives comes up.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

I'll let you come up with the NPC's for your cabinet. Give brief and simplified CS's for them. Note that they shouldn't all be good or perfect at their job

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

I got a little lazy with the sheets. Sorry. Hopefully you don't mind filling in some of the details!

A slow sigh escaped Cecilia as she looked around her office- plain and unadorned. Really, that was how she liked it. She only needed the basics to work- no funds to really waste on making it pretty for herself. Perhaps she'd have to order a few decorations, simply to please the eyes of visitors, but she didn't care one way or another. She was eye-candy enough! And what better to have drawing someone's attention than yourself in a meeting? It'd certainly helped her in the past, showing a bit of cleavage, having some slightly revealing yet still tasteful clothing... All that sort of stuff.

Her ears perked as she was spoken to- eyes drifting to the video feed. A smile came to her lips at the news that was brought forth. "Thank you, Cereniger. I'll have a look right now. As you were." Her voice seemed to purr slightly as she spoke, giving away her satisfaction. Only just hired, and already her secretary was doing good work. If he kept this up, she'd have to bump his pay up- just a little bit.

"Now... Let's see..." She leaned a bit over the panels, eyes focused as she worked. So many positions to fill just for her cabinet... Hopefully she wouldn't have to pick and choose their subordinates as well. She'd leave that up to them. It took her the better part of the morning just to go through them all in detail! Nothing pressing yet, so she could take her time. By the end of it, she had picked out everyone that she wanted. Some old partners, and some new blood. People she'd worked with and fresh faces that she'd never seen before. It was always good to have a mixture.

And with that out of the way, she would tap a button on her desk, speaking softly. "Cereniger? I'm forwarding you the details of the people I've selected to be part of my cabinet. Send word out at your next convenience, thank you." Shortly after, she would begin to look through her files, wondering what projects were already upcoming and needed her attention.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

will probably fill some out tomorrow

Your secretary dutifully accepts your message and nods, vanishing as you turn your attention to reports. At the moment, most reports are about people continuing to settle into the city. The Colony ship that brought you and the million settlers had for the most part been dismantled, but there was still three modules in orbit holding both people and materials, and the core of the ship had been used to build a simple space station.

The only 'projects' currently ongoing was a construction zone nearby the capital that was going to be built into a small city. Its primary purpose hadn't been decided, but there were reports on the initial survey that the area would be good for farms, and of course the fact that the city still hadn't gotten a name yet. There is supposed to be an open floor referendum of some sort in two days...you note that by Earth Calendar, it is currently April 1st, 2307.

A pop up appears, informing you that your secretary is awaiting a filed schedule from you for the next two weeks.

There wasn't really much for Cecilia to do quite yet... Naturally, she was going to attend the open floor referendum. She had to. She also arranged to meet with each of her cabinet members personally. Nothing was official yet- she knew that she'd be hiring her old colleagues. She knew them well enough to trust them. She scratched behind one of her adorable ears for a brief moment, not really feeling the satisfactory sensations that another's hand could bring. After all, it was sort of a tickling sensation. That was something that could melt her, unfortunately...

Ah well. She'd have to check in on that new small city being built and decide on its purpose after discussion with her cabinet, and think up a potential name for the city. Not that hefty of work yet, which she was thankful for. Her last job before she left was such a hassle... And one she didn't even want to do.

It was good that they had a functional space station so far, at least. Cecilia was reluctant to even consider asking the ISF for any ships that could be used for interstellar trade. That could wait, of course. Right now, they were just getting off the ground. Planning for the future was good, but it wasn't necessary to take action yet. So, she arranged her schedule as it was- meet with her cabinet members privately, attend the open floor referendum on April 3rd, 2307, and from then? She was pretty open to any suggestion that her secretary might have. Otherwise she'd inspect the city as it was so far and the new one being built to decide its purpose.

It could take a while for some of your cabinet members to be available-You recall that only one of them actually came along for this little expedition. In fact, you get a message saying that Miles can meet you tomorrow in the evening, assuming of course that you aren't on the prowl for any of the cities frisky citizens. Assuming you didn't have any plans, that would likely work.

Schedule-
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

4/01- Day: Open Night: Open
4/02- Day: Open Night: Meet with Miles?
4/03- Day: City Naming Night: Open
4/04 thru 4/14- Day: Open Night: Open

A query to Cereniger prompts an inquisitive look as he thinks about it, which makes him look rather adorable. It helps that he's young, only 20. "Well, there's not much that can be done today, unless you'd like to do any surprise tours or visits anywhere in town. Hold on, I think there is something...Ah yes, we have an expedition team checking out some of the areas around Fort Lotis. I suppose if you wanted you could spend the day looking around with them...though they've sent a report that there are some dangerous animals out and about."

Cecilia smiled a bit and rolled her eyes at Miles' message. Ever the kidder, he was. She'd have liked to meet him sooner, but tomorrow evening would do. Hopefully he'd actually turn up on time- then again, he always did. That was a definite on her part. However, she turned her attention back to Cereniger, pondering. He was too cute of a guy... How lucky she was. At least she'd have someone easy on the eyes to deal with on a daily basis. "An expedition... Around Fort Lotis? Hmm..." She pondered herself. Her ears flattened the slightest bit- she herself ended up looking pretty adorable.

"I'm not sure. I'm not exactly an explorer... And I don't think I could exactly fight off any wild beasts." So that was likely a no, sadly. She was terrified of weapons overall- they'd probably expect her to carry something like a gun to protect herself with. And to wear protective gear that was just... Ugh. No thank you. She was more a house-cat than a tiger anyways.

"Well, you wouldn't have to leave the expedition camp unless you wanted to, and there are guards who go along when they head out into the nearby area's." Cereniger shrugs. "That's about all there is really at the moment Madame Governor. I suppose you could take some free time off and spend the day wandering around the city. If you really wanted, you could hop on a shuttle and go inspect the space station."

"Please, Cecilia's fine." She gave a small grin. While it was nice to be called 'Madame Governor', she preferred to be addressed by name. Felt more familiar to her. "I think I'll wander the streets a bit. Care to escort me, Cereniger?" Quite a serious request, really. She didn't know the city nearly as well as he likely did, and while she would have bodyguards, it helped to have someone that wasn't stiff as a board to talk to and actually go places with. Suppose it could be considered a date of sorts, since it was for leisure rather than business... Hopefully he didn't interpret it as such. Then again, that could be fun.

Cereniger seems to think about it, and then shrugs. "I guess I could do that. I don't really have much of anything to do here anyways, not anything that the computer can't handle anyways." He cuts the channel, and a moment later enters the room, awaiting you to follow after him. "Any type of place in particular you'd like to see Governor Cecilia?"

Seems he's not going to entirely drop the title bit. Perhaps its because he's nervous, or maybe he figures its too early to be referring to his boss so informally.

A soft sigh was Cereniger's response to the 'Governor' title, a pout coming to her lips. Only for a brief moment. He was making her feel old, calling her 'Governor'! Slowly, she stood and stretched, before walking to meet him at the door. And, of course, follow along. "Not really. I just want to stretch my legs, really. Sitting in an office all day gets boring- I'm sure you know that just as well as I do." Probably more than she did, even. Secretarial work... She'd done it before, and it was horrible! The fact that he was going to be secretary to the governor of an entire planet must've been daunting!

As they walked, she would stick close to him- directly beside him, specifically. "So... Tell me about yourself."

Cereniger nods. "It can get boring, but I'm sure it won't be like that all the time." He says as the two of you make your way into an elevator and eventually out of the capital building. You pass various government workers going about their business, many of whom nod or smile and call out "Good day Madame Governor". You do note that a few of the men, and women, take a moment longer to gaze at you, but do nothing else.

Cereniger blushes when you ask about him...or perhaps that's because your so close to him. "Me? There's not much to know...I was born on a colony in the Levantine system at the edge of Federation space...we never had to worry about much, and last I heard the colony was doing fine still. I've pretty much been doing low level government work since I finished school. This is actually the highest position I've ever held."

Naturally, Cecilia took the time to smile, nod and wave in turn, returning their greetings with quite some pleasure. It was nice being noticed- the stares caused her tail to sway about almost teasingly, as though to draw attention to her hips, chest swelling with pride. She enjoyed their eyes far too much... How scandalous. "I see... Well, I hope you'll be able to handle the work load. I can only imagine how horrible the paperwork will get..." She practically shuddered in revulsion. She truly hated her time as a secretary for many reasons. The paperwork being the main part. So much red tape to deal with...
