Elke as the youngest child was set to get basically nothing, so to make her own way in the world, she decided to go to a new world. Pulling on some connections and using some of her own capital she set off to the other world, she wasn't sure if she was going to follow her family's footsteps or strike out in her own way, or something else entirely, but she wanted to live off of her own merits instead of being babied by her family and getting nothing truly her "Own" Succeed or Fail she'd do it with her own two hands.

The trip to the red planet was not a long one, taking only about double the time it took to cross from one end of earth to the other in the fine airships that had become so ubiquitous. As you arrived, you were able to see the grand sight of the capital of Germany's colony on Mars- New Hamburg. A place of industry full of towering factories and furnaces working to turn the resources of the red world into fuel to expand the Empire.

There were also gleaming skyscrapers where you were sure merchants and nobles alike made their home on this exotic and alien new world. You could easily imagine yourself one day having a place in one such tower... perhaps in fact it'd be in the highest one! You'd certainly have a bit of a better chance than others who came to the world... while your family's name might not be known world wide back on Earth, yours was a respected family back in the home country and you were certain it could help you make connections here more easily.

In fact, as you disembarked from the rocket with the others who had been aboard at New Hamburg's space port, you saw someone nearby whose eyes lit up and she nodded her head towards you and raised her hand in a polite wave. She looked vaguely familiar as well...

I Blinked at her and waved back, approaching since she obviously knew me, it was taking me a bit to realize who it was and I only managed it as I got in close "Cousin Helga?" I asked surprised and then hugged her and kissed her on her cheek "It's been ages! I wasn't expecting you to be here!" I was surprised, blushing unsurely "How'd you know? I kinda did this without asking permission? You're not here to take me back right?" I asked nervously, that wasn't what I wanted I didn't want to be smothered again.

Helga smiled and kissed you back on both cheeks... and a brief brushing of one on your lips too. As she pulled back, she chuckled and said, "You're eldest sister sent me a telegram that you were coming. Your parents still don't know yet, but they will by the end of the week, no doubt." Smirking, she added, "I'm here to help and assist you in getting settled in wherever you intend to go. Its a big city and easy to get lost in, and while it might not seem like it, its also a place easy to get taken advantage of."

I winced "Ah, oh yeah, Sophia's always been weirdly attentive to me, even more than the rest of my siblings...hell she watches me more than the servants it seems like, I should have expected that. I didn't even realize you were here! And please, Taken advantage of? Please, I might be a Submissive but I'm a Klein, it's had to take advantage of me~" I teased back before huffing "I was actually planning to head towards the USA's area of Mars, they seem to be even more free with their laws and trading than even USA on earth, so I thought it'd be good for me, to try and start my business by myself...I wanted to build something of myself instead of just being babied by my family or married off to settle some deal or something."

"You'll find that to be a bit true of each of the regions, but yes, I've heard the American colony is the laxest of the bunch." Helga said with a laugh. Still she hugged you to her side as she said, "Well, I can always seek to arrange transport for you over to Columbia City if you'd like, but it wouldn't hurt to spend a bit of time here in New Hamburg first." She started leading you out of the spaceport, asking, "Did you need to get a bite to eat? I don't know about you, but whether its a rocketship or airship, I often find myself hungry once I touch back down."

I hummed as I walked with her "I'm, not sure? I might be hungry but simply too excited to feel it? This is the farthest I've been away from my home and family, I've always been escorted by one of my big sisters before and rarely was even allowed out of the home." I admitted, All my Big Sisters and Dad were Dominant, I was the only Submissive in the family, even Mom was a Switch "I think I could have something light? Some Pastries and Tea Maybe? But I don't feel confident in a full meal right now." I admitted before humming "Admittedly, I didn't have any very focused plans, while the idea of my own business was enticing it was also just, the idea of escaping off on an adventure on my own away from the family. I was just assuming an idea might come to me at some point." I giggled nervously.

"Tea and pastries? I know the perfect place~" Helga said, grabbing your hand and hurrying you along. You both hopped on a sky trolley and went up to a nice market above the starport that gave a great view of the city and the landscape outside it. She then led you over to a lovely looking cafe, ordering you some light cream pastries and tea.

"Well, if you're looking for opportunities, I can think of a few that I've heard about. Though, did you have anything in particular in mind?"

I hummed "Not Really, I mean, It's my first time away from the family, I was thinking maybe be a little wild, something the family wouldn't dream of, maybe act for a bit, maybe be a show girl even, it might seem silly but it feels like I've been living like a frog in a well, and now that I'm suddenly out in the world, I have no idea what to do or where to go, if that makes any sense?" I said embarrassed as I nibbled and sipped "It's, just really hitting me now too."

Helga quirked a brow, sipped her tea... then a sly smile came to her face as her eyes twinkled in mischief. "Is that so? Mhm, well, I can help with those ideas... I know of three different, or well, mhm, possibly five different jobs you could inquire with if that's the sort of direction you want to go into~"

She explains that one of the theaters in the city was looking for some more female performers, both for the more typical plays as well as more... risque acts. There was also an artist looking for female models, though she had heard the artist in question could be rather... handsy to put it mildly. Then there was two jobs that your parents would indeed likely flip at, though one of them was more of a commission sort of job, a one time thing, and a bit iffy.

The first was a high class brothel operating near the section where most of the nobles resided or visited. The proprietor was a friend of Helga's, and was looking for more folks to employ and tend to the increasing demand her place was seeing for its high class escorts. The other was to help a young heiress to get out of her shell and be dominant and forceful with a potential partner. Apparently while they could be forceful in other situations, in the bedroom they were more submissive.

I blinked at her "Wait, they're upset their Heiress is submissive? Is she cute?" I asked in a gossipy tone, giggling a bit before humming "You know, Mom and Dad hardly ever let me talk about stuff like...but I did read some of Elise's hidden books without them knowing, Sophia caught me, entertaining myself with it...hmm, and not being virginal anymore would hopefully calm some of the requests for my hand...I wouldn't mind trying my hand at, enticing an Heiress~ Plus maybe I could help her in some way if I do." I said with a giggle "I can do one of the other ideas afterwards, but this seems a waste if I don't at least try."

"Mhm, though you are a submissive, but maybe the heiress just needs the right sort to be with to really pull out their dominant side." Helga said, then laughed and added, "Or maybe they'll just have to deal with having a submissive as their Heiress. It happens sometimes, not always anything you can do about it." She nods all the same and adds, "I'll give you the contact for all of it later then, so that you can get in touch with the other possible jobs at your leisure." She pulls a pad and a pen out of her handbag and writes some things down, then hands the slip of paper to you.

"There's their contact info and address, they'll likely want to meet you in person first. But there's no rush, especially since we need to get you situated someplace."

I giggled "Plus either way, I might get to have some fun with a cute heiress~ So I won't need to deal with old foggy's wanting to marry me, the last one who tried to ask for my hand was as old as dad and she put out a really good offer I could tell father was considering it." I told her shaking my head. Before humming "True, I had brought some of my personal money with me to rent an apartment or something while I looked for work. But do you have any recommendations instead?" I asked Helga cocking my head as I finished my light meal.

"Well, if you have trouble finding a place you'd be satisfied with, you could always room with me. I've got space." She goes ahead and says. After a moment and another sip of tea, she hums and notes, "Depends mostly on what you're looking for. If you're thinking you might be moving up soon and into something much better, there's a hotel I know where you can book for a week or a month at reduced price. Beyond that... I have a friend or two who would be fine to have a cute roommate to share their flats with while you figure out what you're going to do here on Mars."

I blinked and hummed "Well I was only planning to stay here a week maybe two at most before heading over to Columbia City, it'd be harder for mom or dad to find me that way." I said nodding. "I'll see about when I can get a ticket for Columbia City and will rent a hotel until that day, I can do the heiress and the artist modeling until then? Those two are the least needing of commitment." I said shrugging. Asking for her help on where to get a ticket so I could get one and then the Hotel so I could hopefully rent the room and check in.

The only way to get to Columbia City from New Hamburg was by Airship, and tickets for that could be a bit pricey. While the United States was not an enemy of your homeland, relations were tense as they were generally competing over some of the same territory on Mars. Still, by Helga's estimation, you should have enough for the ticket and a week long hotel reservation... but probably not much else.

I Hummed and shrugged "You think that's enough time to work with that artist or something, probably not long enough for anything else besides the artist and maybe the heiress." I said with a hum, but that seemed easy enough to do. "I want to be gone soon, I didn't want my mom or dad trying to drag me back home, and well if I'm still in New Hamburg they could probably get someone to bring me back."

"Should be enough for both of them, unless the Heiress proves a problem or the artist is the more finnicky sort." Helga remarks as you both finish your tea and pastries. With that done, she takes you to the hotel in question, making sure to give you her own contact information before heading off as she had some other things to take care of.

I went into the hotel to get everything I needed and everything ready, though once I was settled in, well, I'd set up getting my ticket and then contact that family with the heiress and the artist to set up meetings or something, focusing on the heiress since I wanted to lose my virginity soon, to hopefully make me less of a target for horny people wanting a cute young bride.

Ordering the ticket was a simple enough endeavor, involving a telogram call with the station and then a three minute wait for your ticket to be sent up to your room via the mail tubes. Contacting the artist proved troublesome, they were either busy or just not available. But the call to the family with the Heiress was not only answered immediately, they were eager to have you come over to their place as soon as you physically could!

I blinked and agreed to head on over soon, deciding I might as well just do it here and now. So soon enough I found myself somewhat eagerly on my way to the house, well that is if they didn't send a car or something to pick me up, if they wanted that I could wait for it, otherwise I'd just walk there as quickly as I could without rushing, or Sweating, stuffy family tended to dislike that after all.
