You Eagerly got into your ship and got ready for your life of adventure, unfortunnettely you were assigned an area in space for your first patrol that didn't have that many hyperlanes going through it, and the ones that did were only a few ones for backwoods planets that didn't have much of anything this was all set up to be a boring first few months, when something odd happened, your ship picked up an old Terran distress signal, hundreds of years out of date, hell it might date back to shortly after Terrans started their first in Solar System Colony! You actually had to enter into a brief laneless jump to get to it, but when you did, you saw a massive blocky ship of some sort just, slowly drifting in a direction, scanning it showed it was the "United Terran Ship - Garden of Eden" one of the earliest Colony ships to ever be launched by the Terrans, but it had never made it to it's colony, it should have landed and let out it's colonists over five hundred years ago, but, it just never appeared, according to scans it didn't have any FTL and it was running on Nuclear and Solar Power, the Distress message it let out was "Knocked off Courses, Colonists released, Error, Unpilotable, Error." and you saw why as you drifted around it, the bridge was completely gone, it had an astroid sitting where it should be.
