Bio: Amy was most at home nestled away in a little nook she'd make for herself in the corner of libraries to read manga, or wrapped up in blankets in her room playing videogames. Despite being an exceptionally bright girl, she struggled to find a stable career. She was so nervous and fidgety she struggled to make it through the first interview, and if by some miracle she got the job she'd find her anxiety getting the better of her by the end of her first week.

This was all different online. While Amy couldn't never afford the best hardware, or the best Wi-Fi connection and often had to scrimp and save to get the latest game, she found herself becoming an entirely different person when there was no one's face to look at. Gamertag's and usernames were much easier to talk to than real people right in front of her. Sometimes this led to these scrubs feeling her ire across the internet as she let loose her frustrations from never once speaking out in real life against people that couldn't hope to keep up with her joystick thumbs. Sometimes this helped her forge more meaningful connections than she ever could in real life, her strength of personality coming through to forge the centre of several different small online friend communities.

Its through this exploration of her virtual self that she created Gladia. A silvery-blue haired badass woman of confidence and style that Amy always dreamed off being. Her designs of Gladia began as a simple username and icon, but she soon began tinkering away on a 2D virtual avatar set up to use to chat and stream gameplay with. She was able to save up enough to get that going at least, though her set up was quite meagre compared to the fully developed virtual interfaces that were becoming more prominent in this day and age. Amy always secretly yearned to have a set up as complex as all of that and broaden her platform to bring in more viewers she could interact with. Though even with her small bubble of the internet, she was content.

That was until she was contacted by one of the leading companies in virtual reality technology with an offer she just simply couldn't refuse...

The offer would get your career going faster than you could possibly imagine, the amount of people who were fighting for attention and out of everyone You got an offer? Your heart was thumping as you explored the Arcadia Project website to see what they were all about. It was honestly too good to be true, but you heard about this next step in VR before, but you scarcely had the money for your own set up so you didnt pay much attention to it, but as you explored it just seemed more and more legit. Company resources would change everything. You found yourself replying to the message immediately and getting a response back even faster than that. You got invited to the campus to discuss details of the offer, they even bought you lunch!

You were brought in and led to an office by a tall man in a suit, he seemed nice, he didnt make any small talk thankfully not forcing you to interact with him any more than you had to when you finally hit the office and seated in the chair was another redhead, her hair was tied up in a bun unlike your somewhat scruffy ponytail. "So nice of you to take up our offer Miss!" She says getting up from her large black leather chair. "Im Calliope, head of Talent Recruitment and actually came across your channel, and I have to say there was something about you I could sense, you're going to be perfect for the Arcadia Project I just know it. You read the attached form to the email correct?"

She said that and your briefly recall some information from the honestly massive document but being you- you gave it a fair shake reading over it; it had info on what resources you'd get and the conditions for receiving support. The apartment, the campus.. the equipment they were going to provide to you. It mentioned that none of it was going to be free and you owed the company the initial fee to get started, but to you it seemed... generous? That might be the best way for you to describe it. It was higher than the rent you paid each month, but the number wasnt huge, you sorta remember that after you paid it off you would then experience a decrease in how much of a cut the company took as well.

"Alright Amy, just sign along on this line.. and this line.. and an initial here. One more here. And we're done here. Welcome to the Team, the Arcadia Project is happy to have you on board. As a reminder we expect you to pay off the 2000 grand by the end of the month for the first payment and depending on your success that number should only continue to get smaller, but we'll be here to help you every step of the way and can even extend it if you need to refinance, we just want to help the talents grow after all. We'll have your furniture shipped over within a couple of days but the campus is yours to to explore. It'll have everything you need and you'll get the company orientation by the end of the week. Get settled and we look forward to working with you." A friendly woman with an exceptionally clean cut smiled at you from across her richly colored wooden desk. It was one small bit of the extravagance that the office had, while it wasnt ostentatious, you could feel the power that radiated from the room layout.

Soft leather chairs, large double paned stained glass, various awards lit by under lights in a simple glass display behind the interviewer. The fact that nothing looked like plastic or that off-white medical color you grew up with in your own apartment. The interviewer stood up and walked over to your side her hand extended and you immediately go for it though you feel the sweat gathering in your palm, but her smile never wavers and you dont even think she's expressed anything other than a that soft placid smile and crystal blue eyes that you could get lost in.

"Oh and one last thing," She pulls out from her pocket an ID card in a plastic sleeve, "your own company ID, its programmed directly to your company account, so feel free to use it on purchases within or without the campus, it doesnt have a photo yet but you'll take one at orientation. Just dont lose it though, the tech for them is expensive, and you'll get billed if you do." You gulped. "Along with any other.. Property the company owns, should they get lost or damaged the company will cover for their repair or improvement, but you'll get billed as well. Any final questions you might have for me?" Calliope says as the two of you walk toward the door that you entered about 30 minutes ago.
