The next few days pass by fairly quickly as Noah's life seems to return to normal. A small package came in the mail for her today, she opened it to find a letter along with a small glass lens. The letter was short and informal;

Noah, you don't know me but I've been putting together the pieces of something big that's been happening in Ashcroft. Unfortunately you're a piece of the ever growing jigsaw and I need you're help. Meet me at the clocktower tonight at midnight, the lens will show you how to get in.

It seemed someones been spying on her and apparently things its a good idea for the two of them to meet. Of course this could also be a trap set for her but she wouldn't know untill she took the first few steps.

Upon reading the letter Noah took time to think about the next action she would need to take. Lately the days have been rather smooth other than the fact that her friends have been asking about this mysterious suitor that they saw drop her off last night. It didn't help she was wearing her more girlish cloths at the time. She thought not usually liking them see her that way. Deciding she had little other choice she would meet this mysterious person. Part of her thought it was the vigilante considering this would fit his style of work. Collecting her pistol and storing her hunting rifle secretly under the back seat of her car she drives off. Hoping this time she won't be stranded.

Noah arrived at the clock tower as instructed. The tower was built into the middle of Ashcroft park when it had been owned by an engineer during the industrial revolution. Rumor has it he had planned to expand it into a much larger building but had died before construction could continue. Now the rest of the land was a rather large park built into downtown. The tower itself was in the center of the plot of land and had no visible entrances from what she could see.

Arriving at the park Noah had dwelling thought on what this stranger may want with her. Well if it was a stranger that is. For what she's seen it was probably that hunter guy. Walking around the tower she began her investigation on how to get inside. If things were gonna get moving she'd need to find a way inside first. Though it was much easier said than done.

Noah used the lens she had received in the mail and saw faint glowing runes on the base of the tower. They seemed to leader her around to the north side of the park where the lens revealed a hidden ladder and tunnel at the base of the tree. Without the lens it appeared perfectly normal but when it was over her vision the hole appeared. Testing it she found her foot passed strait through the ground and into the tunnel. She descended into darkness and followed the glowing runes back towards the clocktower. Eventually she found a large room under the towers foundation with what looked like a modernized alchemy lab. A man dressed in a heavy trenchcoat and a wide brimmed hat turned to face her. He had thick layers of gauze wrapping his face and circular goggles that hid his eyes behind two green lenses. "Ahh your finally here... I trust it was easy enough to find?"

"Complicated but with the help you gave me I was able to help." Noah said as she followed the man with her eyes unsure why she was brought here. "So what are you some kind of alchemist or something? I really don't even know why you wanted me to be here." She kept her hands away from her gun. Believing he probably knew she had it and for sure didn't want to have him feel threatened in any way.

"Because your an important cog in all of this, I know it. Forces are on a collision course with one another that wont end well for this city... or any other city for that matter. I think you may be able to at least slow down the event so I need you to take care of something. It might not seem significant to you but trust me when I say its imperative... you need to keep you're new mate busy for the rest of the month. Mayor Leo must be preserved if we are to stand a chance against the coming darkness." He went over to a bench and handed her a vial of some kind of darkish liquid. "Give this to your mate. Make sure he drinks it before Sunday night."

"WAit mate?" She asked confused wondering who he meant. Feeling quite ashamed if he knew that she had sex with the leader of the wolf pack. "Do you mean the leader of the wolf pack?" She asked a bit worried of what it may contain.

"He doesn't need to die... but if that's easier for you it would help." He mutters returning to his workstation. She saw a series of multicolored strings of light bouncing around inside a glass case. They didn't seem to exit the glass only bounce around inside in an unfathomable web. Every few seconds it changed reconfiguring all the lines so that it was never the same. He glanced at it for a few seconds before turning back to her. "I'm being vague because I have to be. Keep him occupied."

"Fine but you got to explain why I need to do this." She said annoyed that he just called her here to do a job of sorts for him. With a better reason to do what this man was asking she would have no objections. Thinking about how he called the gang leader her mate made her shiver as she recalled their night together. Her body still shivering at the fact he was holding back when he was with her. A small ache inside her stayed since then and she's been pushing it away as often as she could.

"I can't explain." He said simply tapping on one of the flask's on his table. "If you value your own life and his then please do as I say. If you wont then I have something else you could do but I still can't explain the need for it. Things are very delicate at the moment." He remarked staring back at the strange glass device. "Oh and you may want to invest in birth control." With that he leaned against the table done with their conversation for now.

Blushing and about to object she stops herself making sure to listen and leave. Saying good bye to him as she made her way out she made an order at the pharmacists. Then texting one of her friends to pick it up for her hoping that they wouldn't tease her about it when she got back home.

On the way home she glanced down at her text message to find lewd remarks about her sex life. It was bad enough she started to dress more like a woman now she was getting treated like one too. Either way she made it home safely and found a bottle of pills on her bed.
