"Ah, admit I was hoping you'd forgotten about that", Lyara admitted with a playful grin, moving over to a pile of random things, only to pull out a small vial of green liquid," Drink this and for the next two hours no creature will take note of your presence... doesn't work on anything intelligent, but given goblins are pretty dumb it works just fine... only a single dose though, so you might even want to save it, though you risk a goblin band jumping you on your way out of the forest", Lyara noted as Cora took the vial, Lyara moving to the edge of the pool," Just say when you're ready dearest"

"Well I'm ready now... and thank you for the potion." She said accepting the small vial. She would tuck it away for now, she was pretty confident in her ability to fight goblins if it came to that. She waited for the Nymph to raise her back to the surface and then continued up river toward Gruumash.

"Thank you for all my daughters", Lyara shot back with a flirty wink, forming a bubble that fully encased Cora, Cora finding herself pushed into the pool as the bubble took her back to the surface... and onto the same spot she'd been kidnapped from, only she'd notice the sun was almost set now after all she'd gone through.

Cora marveled at the process of returning to the surface. She hadn't seen much magic as a blacksmiths apprentice. When she returned to shore she squinted up at the sun with a frown. She still felt rushed having been detained for most of the day so she set out on the path hoping the goblins search had already taken them past this area.

She continued on without much issue... only to find the goblins, just not as she expected. what seemed to by about 16 goblin corpses lay all about, torn to shreds and in some cases looked like they'd been eaten by something. She even recognized the four goblins from before, in one case just the upper torso of one of them. Something dangerous was moving about in this forest... it'd be best she hurry along in case it was still close and wanted to make a meal out of her.

Well she wasn't exactly distraught over the death of the goblins but she recognized the need to move on before whatever did this returned... but first she does a quick search for anything valuable like gold or other items the goblins might have been carrying that she could make use of. She didn't really think the act of looting the dead was immoral... after all it would be a waste to leave this stuff out in the middle of the forest.

She found just their shoddy made weapons and armor mostly, but all together she got her hands on about 50 gold coins and about 20 silver coins. It would give her some more spending cash for the next town she should have been close to reaching, an hour more of a walk was what she needed to get out of the forest and then locate the town... though the sun had set, would it be safe moving in the dark?

Cora considered her options, whatever killed the goblins might have wandered off.... but then again it might be back to eat a few more of the goblins as a snack. She decided it was best to continue onto the next town trying to make it through the dark forest before something else found her. She kept her axe ready over one shoulder in case she had time to react to any attack.

Moving through the dark was quite hard... yet unluckily her armor made quite a bit of noise as she trudged through the forest. Just as she began to see lights peeking through the trees, meaning the town was quite close now... she heard a crash a bit ways behind her. Something large was making it's way towards her, though as she looked back she just saw glowing red eyes from the dark, her vision not well enough to see it just yet as she had the option to face it and fight, or try to make it out of the forest and into the town for safety.

Cora let out a shriek and started sprinting toward the town hoping to make it before whatever was chasing her caught up. She'd drop her axe if needed to lose a little weight and outrun the thing.

It seemed the dropping of her axe not only lightened her weight up quite a bit to run faster... but she'd notice the thing chasing her actually stopped in inspect it... the loss of her weapon pretty much saved her from whatever it was. She broke through the forest, free of it as she could see the town was just about a ten minute walk from where she was now. It seemed she was safe... though it'd still be good to rush in case that thing decided to use her own axe to continue hunting her.

Cora slowed her pace a little but continued toward the town at a jog. If it wasn't a gated town she would wander down the streets looking for an Inn or boarding house of some kind. She counted herself lucky to have escaped whatever was in the forest though she did feel somewhat curious. She might ask some of the locals when she got a chance.

She found there was no gate and through a bit of looking found a tavern that seemed to still be open from the lights showing through the windows and the loud noises within. Upon entering she'd find quite a few patrons within, drinking and eating while conversing about various things. The man behind the bar most likely ran the tavern, being a large and gruff looking man in his late thirties. She'd also take note of a few waitresses wearing skimpy attire befitting their place in the bar, some serving patrons while one or two were even sitting on the laps of some the men, seeming to enjoy the attention. Also of note was what seemed to be three heavily cloaked people in the corner staying to themselves, Cora's current angle leaving her unable to see under their hoods or anything. She would also notice a group of men, one of which had one of the waitresses on his lap as he was bragging to her about finding some secret way he and his group had gotten over the Gruumash border, something Cora might be interested in learning herself.

Cora stood at the door and caught her breath glancing around. Cora walked over to a table near the group bragging about Gruumash and tried to listen in on their conversation. She ordered a drink so that it wouldn't look so strange and tried to relax after the sprint and the whole lake ordeal. She wondered if they had any rooms vacant, staying in the common room didn't really appeal to her at the moment.

As she claimed an open spot nearby, she could better hear the discussion,".... -en me and my buddies here just slunk in and out in ten seconds flat, those stupid Grummashian soldiers never knew we were there and we raided their stockpile of weapons nice and hard", The leader of the group was bragging to the pretty waitress... hand sliding back and forth on her thigh, though never pushing up her short skirt as he did,", Got quite a few gold coins selling it all too, enough to... well how much would it be to have your company for the night?", he asked the waitress, who just blushed and slid off his lap," Eh?"

"Sorry cutie, the help isn't allowed to do that sort of thing, you should try the brothel in the next town over", She noted apologetically, before headed off... leaving the leader with a frown while his buddies laughed at his misfortune.

Cora sat and waited listening to the group a bit more, if they started to leave she would approach the leader but she really had no interest in sleeping with the guy for the information... if there was no opportunity to get the information she would buy a room for the night and get some rest.

Sadly it seemed they weren't up for talking much more on the subject, just that they'd set out in the morning using the same way to sneak back in and steal some more of the Grummash weapons they'd stolen from before. Cora found a room would be 10 silver, which thanks to her luck with the goblins was easy enough to do. Once she was in bed and sleeping... she found her dreams plagued with strange things. Of her beloved and him being tortured in a dungeon by those who captured him... of what could have happened that day. First she dreamt of the goblins defeating her, tearing off her armor and clothes and gangbanging her right there in the forest, having their way with her sexy body and filling her with their seeds, only to then drag her back to their whole tribe to continue there. The came dreams of Lyara, the nymph using her tentacle body to ravage all of Cora's holes as the children they made watched on. Finally, Cora dreamt of those red eyes and the beast who most likely now owned her axe, unable to see what it was, she just dreamt of it bending her over and fucking her from behind, slamming deep into her womb with a massive cock, over and over again. By the time she woke-up in the morning, she'd find her body on fire with lustful needs.

Cora tossed and turned during the night filled with uncomfortable needs. She had always taken pride in her chastity and now that she was no longer a virgin it seemed her mind was filled with dirty thoughts... she tried to ignore them for now, they would only get her into trouble if she acted on them. She thought back on the previous day and felt she was lucky to have made it this far... but now she was conflicted. She had forged that axe herself and it represented both her and her father, if a monster was running around these parts slaying with it she would have no choice but to track it down and take it back. She grabbed her gear and asked around town first to see if anyone had news about a roaming monsters in these parts. If she could find no information she set out back into the wilds trying to find the way she had come into town.

She of course got news of the usual suspects when it came to roaming monsters, however the barkeep at the tavern she'd slept at said that what she ran into was most likely a Troll of sorts, though he admitted he'd never heard of a Troll with red eyes like what she saw. She found her way back easily enough, the forest in the distance for her to venture back into... though this was going the opposite direction she was intending to go and would use up even more time she needed in saving her beloved... but some things just needed to be done regardless of the risk.

Cora felt it was just as important to preserve her families reputation, after all no one would do business with them if they found a monster using their weapons to slaughter innocents. As much as it pained her Yoland would have to wait a little while longer while she tracked down her item. She tried returning to the dead goblins to see if it had left any tracks she could follow.
