After 3 shots, the patrol orbs are gone and out of the way, one of their chassis landing on the floor below the platforms. You could go search that, but as you glance that way, you hear steps on the ladder from the room below.

Turning back, before her she could see two more platforms, with a ladder leading from the first up to the second above it, and a patrol orb blocking the path.

Instead she watched its flight path, trying to judge if it was possible for her to time her movements to get past when it was furthest from the path she needed to take to continue upwards.
