She and Sam head over to the wood line to get a better look at what their potential neighbours are, and get somewhat of an idea when they spot trio of wolves scamper through the underbrush, the sight of them making Selena heart skip a beat for a second. However it seems they might be moving away from something other them her and Sam given the buzzing she's hearing. Selena gets her magic pistol ready, since the buzz was very... bug like. She had already had an encounter with a giant spider once. No reason their couldn't be giant flies or... or giant any other kind of bug after all.

The buzz grows, and eventually, there's some serious echoing going through it, before a burst of leaves leads a very large insect creature smashes its way through the short bushes. It definitely resembles a bee, with its stripes, but it's got some serious meat to it, more resembling something like a scorpion or crabs claws. You're far from an expert in insect...ology, but if it's anything with a hive, it's probably some kind of warrior or scout. Still, it seems to be more aware of you than you of it. You still have the chance to try and talk to it, or you could lead with combat as it doesn't seem to be brandishing a stinger or anything similar.

Selena almost squeals out loud as the giant bee bursts through the edge of bush line, its sudden almost explosive entrance scaring the bejesus out of her. Both her and Sam are quick to snap weapons up, however as quick as it enters the flatter cleared areas along the forests edge it stops, a mild hum filling the air as its wings work hard to keep the huge bug from falling. The thing simply hovers there though, looking at them, or at least Selena thinks its looking at them since bug eyes were hard to read. It's head and body was pointed in their direction and in any case. After a few moments of nothing though Selena calms her heart a little. It wasn't as scary as the giant spiders had been... and it was a bee, not a hornet or wasp or anything. Bees were known to be rather live and let live right? Pretty mild in temperament compared to their fellow hive centered stinging cousins anyway. But once again, Selena was hardly an expert in bugs, especially these new giant varieties!

It might be perhaps a little foolish, but Selena takes a few steps closer to it to gauge its reaction, sort of limited to these mild tests for now. At the very least she was still bigger then the bug was, though not by much, the thing being similar in size to her torso. Still, one bug shouldn't be hard to deal with right?

The creature stares at you, or so you assume with its compound eyes and all, but as you get closer, it flares its legs and claws out, making pinching motions as it begins to swoop towards you. You're easily able to dodge with its slow start up and shift, the creature being rather clumsy, and swinging around after passing you, reminding you of a hover craft more than anything. It stops, seeming to be surprised that it didn't catch you, reorienting on you. You could give it another chance if you're feeling generous, or you could put a few rounds into it.

Selena barely takes a few cautious steps toward it before the giant bee decides it didn't like that, snapping claws and and barrelling straight at her. Selena naturally yelps and rolls of the way, gasping as her big sensitive tits bounce heavily in the act, but doing just fine really as the oversized insect sails by with a loud air vibrating buzz. Given it's size though it can't turn on a dime like most traditionally sized bugs could, and so sort of does this pitching maneuver that sees it bleed speed before it tries to circle around for another pass. In a way, the manner it flies sort of reminds Selena of a really low flying helicopter or something. Or maybe a cross between a helo and hovercraft with those wide turns and low to the ground movement.

Well whatever the case it had clearly demonstrated it wasn't as mellow and live and let live as your average honey or bumble bee. Selena whips out her enchanted revolver and lets loose a trio of shots at it, hopping that it would be more then enough to take the thing out.

Unfortunately, with the intense buzzing and vibration, you barely manage to hit the gigantic bee more than twice, which only seems to piss it off. With it's large body, and presumably exoskeleton, it doesn't seem to be terribly vulnerable to small pistol rounds. The two shots that you've hit it with, seem to be at least oozing something similar to blood, but you didn't catch anything vital as it just seems to be speeding up, actually lifting itself further off the ground almost face level as it turns back and starts snapping with those big claws. Sam doesn't seem able to properly track it either, a few shots doing little more than ruffling the nearby bushes as you find the gigantic bee closing and slowing as it nears you at the end of your roll, now in your face with snapping claws.

Selena feels pretty good about the first dodge so naturally tries to follow it up with an attack while the giant bee was wheeling around. Good as her dive was though there was just something about the buzzing sound of its wings, maybe the frequency or something, that is just plain distracting. Like a mosquito flying in your ear but worse! It doesn't really falter her aim much though thankfully, but unfortunately her enchanted revolver doesn't seem to nearly as much damage as she hoped. Maybe it just wasn't as good as she initially thought, maybe it just needed time to attune or something, or maybe it just needed upgrades or something. Whatever the case it doesn't seem to deter the bug much, and maybe it didn't really care about pain like most mammals do. She puts a hole in one of its claws and in its thorax, but it doesn't hinder it in the slightest. It quickly goes in for another attack.

This time though its a little more wily, clearly capable of learning as Selena and Sam both take a shot but miss. Selena tries another dodge as it gets close, but it seems to read her movements and divert its movement right as she rolls. By the time Selena is coming to her feet again its right on top of her and still going at speed, a second later Selena is yelping in surprise as it crashes into her, its spindly insect legs latching onto her as she's spent sprawling onto her back. Luckily other then a good winding though it doesn't really hurt as Selena simply falls onto the long grass near the forests edge, but now she had giant bee on top of her, and one equipped with a pair of snapping crab like claws to boot!

On her back and in a grapple Selena knows she's in a pickle. She tries not to think of the bees abdomen bouncing around between her thighs, likely equipped with something to rape her rather exposed pussy given that everything else she had encountered so far had been.
