The fledgling priestess is left lost for words as you slowly disentangle yourself from her, her hair sticking to her sweat damp face as you stretch strand of your shared saliva before her. Her only response at that point is to slowly wipe her lip and mutter a shy 'thank you' while leaning her weight on a nearby pew, clearly trying to regain the strength in her legs. It's rather hard to tell whether or not she's a virgin, but even if she isn't, she certainly doesn't have anywhere near the body count the handful of lovers you'd had since your reawakening can boast. Aside from Kyris, perhaps, but he's a very special case.

"Oh you have no idea..." Cyrus manages hotly, but your rebuke only makes him groan. The poor bard is forced to stuff himself back into his breeches, a difficult task considering his not insignificant size, but one he manages well enough. The promise of having both you and the priestess at once does only a little to soothe him, but it's not as if he has much of a choice in the matter. He tucks your bra away into his knapsack as you begin to drag him along, Leah giving you a hesitant wave as you disappear through the doors and back out into Hawkenthorne.

Small town as it is, following the road outside the temple up north could only bring you out to the gates. By then, the cold morning air and lack of stimulation have thankfully managed to take care of Cyrus' limp, although he does seem at least a little grumpy that you got to have your fun without him. The guards up at the gate stop you two briefly to warn you of the activity in the woodlands, but it's easy enough to wave them enough once they see you've both armed yourself prior to leaving. The Frostwood, as its called, is easily visible from the town. The inhabitants have cleared it out to about half a mile from the walls themselves, but beyond that all you can see is thick, deciduous forest, with only a dirt path in to guide your way.

"How do you wanna do this? I've been to the Frostwood a hundred times, but not recently enough to know what is lurking that far out. Normally I'd suggest calling her name, canvasing the woods closer to town, but who knows what that'll bring upon us." Cyrus asks, resting his hand on the pommel of the pretty looking rapier at his hip.

I hop from foot to foot once we pass through the gates of the town, a familiar excitement stirring up inside me once more. I licked my lips, the excitement burning brighter as I see just how dense the Frostwoods seem to get. "Aha! Yes!" I yell, pumping both my fists up near my cheeks. "Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.... Yes!" I stomp my feet and spin around in circles, the frantic swaying of my tail almost hitting Cyrus in the face a few times. I quickly scan the ground and then pout, before running off and back again before Cyrus can stop me and planting a heavy rock I found just off the path down by my feet. With the rock in place, I then place one booted foot dramatically upon it and I point upwards and towards the general direction of the forest. "Adventure awaits!" I yell with all my lungs.

I hold this pose for a few moments, my tail nudging my jacket slightly to help make it look like it was blowing dramatically in the wind. I then slowly turn and face Cyrus with a great big smile on my face. A squeal of delight escapes me and I shake my body with the burst of energy I'm feeling. "I'm so excited! Its been too long since I've had an adventure! I consider myself as much a spirit of adventure as I am lust. Maybe even more so, I think all my lust shenanigans started from a drive to be adventurous. Its been so long, its hard to remember, but adventuring might just be a bigger passion of mine than sucking cock. Shocking, I know, but I would give up getting my face fucked for a week if it meant it'd be packed full of adventure. Come on, lets go! Whatever we find, I bet it'll make for a great song for you to sing~!

Cyrus rolls his eyes at your overenthusiastic declaration, but decides not to say anything to dampen your mood. The two of you set off down the path, one you can only assume is frequented most by hunters and loggers, considering the relatively untouched nature of the woods themselves. As you trek through the trees, there's an unmistakable quiet to the woodlands that doesn't quite feel natural. A chilly spring morning would be full of life, and while you hear the song of the birds and see the occasional critter scurrying across the canopy at first, that liveliness dies down fast as you go deeper in, to the point where the rays of the sun high above have a difficult time piercing through the branches tangling above.

"This is... weird," Cyrus pipes up about ten or twenty minutes into the trek, following the worn down dirt path as it grows ever thinner and less pronounced, "I've been through here a few dozen times, and usually we'll have hit the game trail the loggers use to find their camp. It branches off the main road somewhere, but it's just... not here any more."

It's true; you haven't seen so much as a single offshoot on the road as you've followed it. If anything, the foliage on either side of the path is incredibly dense. More so than what one would expect from this kind of woodland. Of course, it's been a few millennia since you last saw a forest, but plants were plants!

"Do you reckon we should try wading off road? I'm sure Uresa ventured at least a little ways off the beaten path, if she was looking for herbs. The roadside is usually the first to be picked clean."

I scan the area around us cautiously as we walk, although it is hard to see anything through such thick foliage. Everything in these woods felt off... unless woods were just like this now? No, Cyrus felt it too... so it was a bad off! There didn't seem to be any sign of the offshoot paths Cyrus was talking about, and the path we were on seemed to be rapidly disappearing the further we got in. "I have a feeling if we go off the path, it'll be harder to find it again then we might expect." I murmur, placing my hands on my dagger hilts as I start pacing around Cyrus, while examining our surroundings.

"The plants... are fucking..." I murmur, almost absentmindedly. "Well... reproducing. I think, its just where my instincts go. Fucking like plants. At an unnatural rate. That would make sense given... well... what seems to be going on with..." I don't finish my sentence, my thoughts lingering on the red woman from my dream. "How did she get plants to fuck each other so much in so short a time?" I start pacing back the way we came, taking out my dagger and scratching the side of a tree trunk as I do so. I'm careful to direct the slash so it curves down towards the direction of the town. "Whereabouts did you say the trail was... its probably under some very young and fast growing trees and bushes. Unless plants have learned to walk around and rearrange themselves since I've been gone. That would make all of this much harder."

Cyrus stares at you for a long moment, and it's hard to tell whether he's contemplating the validity of your assertion, or whether or not you're crazy. Still, it must be better than whatever explanation he had. When you asked him the whereabouts of the path, he merely rolled his shoulders.

"Hard to tell, but it can't be far from where we're at now; no point in tiring yourself out with a whole day's hike before you get to felling." If nothing else, the two of you have a starting point to begin the search, and the careful combing of fuck happy foliage begins in earnest. Some of it is thick enough to require a few good swings from Kyris' blades, and you almost get yourself tangled on more than one occasion. It must have been another ten or twenty minutes of this before you manage to spot something distinctly not plant-like lying in the overgrowth just off the path; a shiny bronze knife, barely glinting in what few beams of light cast themselves across the forest floor. It's rather small a delicate compared to the dagger you wield, likely for a more tender work than combat. What's more, the shrubbery around it seems even newer comparatively than the stuff surrounding it, as if the forest itself was healing over a wound.

"That looks like something a herbalist might use," Cyrus chimes in, peaking over your shoulder, "Might be that she dropped it while wrestling her way through here."

I wipe some sweat from my brow as we make it to the knife lying in the shrubbery. I lean down and tentatively pick it up, looking over it closely. "Do you think she was attacked, or lost it while making her way through the overgrowth?" I ask, turning it over in my hands. I take the dagger with us as I start to search for signs of Uresa coming through here to try an indicate a direction she may have gone in. I pull a dagger and scratch a nearby tree once again, directing the slash back towards the previous marking I made. "There's no telling how quickly cut plants will grow back right now, but hopefully marks in bark at least linger long enough. Otherwise getting back will be quite a bit of trouble. Do you want to risk calling for her, or keep looking for a trail?"

"If she was attacked, I'd rather be able to get the drop on whatever did it than the alternative," Cyrus declares, and so the two of you begin the arduous journey of hacking your way through the foliage once more. Conveniently enough, the youngest growth seems concentrated in a thin pathway, and it's very likely that its rapid regeneration was spurned on by someone crushing down the plant-life that had come before it. Bizarrely enough, the further from the pathway you get, the easier it becomes to force you way through. It's almost as if the worst of it is concentrated directly around the road, like a deterrent for leaving the established path.

While it's easier going than pushing through jungle-like walls of vines and shrubbery, trekking through untouched woodland doesn't do a great deal for your line of sight. As you and your light-footed catboy companion search the immediate area for the lost goblin, a single boon comes to you in the sinister situation you find yourselves in; it's deathly quiet. Which makes hearing things much easier. In this case, just to the northeast, you can make out the faintest of giggles echoing through the trees. Comforting as laughter tends to be, it feels off in such a creepily silent environment, and you can't make out the source from this far away, aside from the vaguest of idea it's female from the pitch.

Hearing the giggling through the still silence of the forests was hardly the most fun feeling I had in my existence. Though that really wasn't saying much, I had many fun feelings. So perhaps it was better to compare to my experiences since waking up. If the worst was that feeling of corruption that clung to me as I awoke, the second was the same feeling experienced in my dream, then this moment might just be the third worst feeling I had since waking up. It send shivers down my spine as I carefully looked around for its source. "Spooky..." I murmur, before starting to follow the sound of the voice. "Come on, Cyrus, if we don't follow the spooky laughter, we'll never get anywhere." I marked another tree with my dagger to keep the chain going as best I could.

Cyrus nods grimly, and you can hear the faint sound of him pulling his sword free from its scabbard as the two of you carefully approach. The giggling grows louder as you close the distance between you and the presumed source, and you can hear the sounds of revelry just over a nearby incline. The sight you're greeted to is certainly not what you expected; or rather, it is almost exactly what you expected, if you had meant plants doing the kind of fucking that less... leafy creatures tended to do.

Atop the slope is a trio of green-skinned women, laughing among themselves. It's almost easy to assume they're orcs at first, but a closer examination marks them as too small and svelte for that. Indeed, the longer you look at them, you make out less and less humanoid aspects; the plant-like matter that clads them is very obviously growing from their bodies. Their vibrant red and pink hair appears to be merely collections of flower petals that trail down their backs and surround what must be their sexes. They're quite alluring, in truth, each displaying an hourglass figure and impressive pair of smooth, green tits capped with a nectar-drooling flower that matches whatever particular shade makes up the rest of that particular plant-girl's petal coloration. Each also sports a series of tendrils that extend from just behind their arms, tentacles that in the case of at least one of these strange women, seems to be...

Holding a fourth green lady in the air! Strange and alluring as they are, they almost manage to distract you from the presence of a fourth greenskin, and one who is obviously not among their number at that; suspended by the silky smooth looking vines is a shorter, more fleshy looking young woman with disheveled black hair. Her wrists and ankles have been bound by the plant-like appendages sprouting from her captors, another coiled around her wide hips as she's held spread eagle by them. Another thick vine pumps its way vigorously between her legs, her minimal pussy lips spread wide by the intruder. Over the merriment of the plant girls, it's hard to make out any of her muffled cries, namely because another tendril has been shoved into her mouth and down her throat, moving in rhythm with the one fucking her from below.

It's almost captivating, seeing the perky tits on this petite goblin bouncing up and down with each lurch of the vines, but even from a distance you can see tears staining her cheeks, and her limbs weakly tugging against her bindings. It's pretty clear that she isn't a willing guest.

"C'mon! Share! You've had her holes for hours," One of the assembled plant girls whines to her sister, "I wanna feel them too!"

"You'll get your turn when I'm finished! Besides, this one seems really tough. She probably won't break as easy as the others. Probaaaably." The matter-of-factly tone the one currently spearing who you could only assume to be Uresa is chilling, and Cyrus nudges you from your side, clearly waiting on your plan of attack.

"I knew it!" I muttered, after studying the scene before us. "Well, I thought it was a little less literal, but I'm counting this as a win for the world's greatest spirit detective." I turn the hilts of my daggers around in my hands, gripping them steady as I crouched down low in the shrubbery. Three leafy, horny plant people. They were each quite the intricate and beautiful collection of flower petals and sexuality that could tempt any observer into developing a green thumb or two. Such an exotically creative form, they almost seemed designed. Perhaps they were, but what concerned me more is what they were currently doing, or rather who.

Hoisted above the trio of plant pussy people was a petite goblin woman, bound and used by the plants below. Even from this distance, I could tell it was far from consensual, and bound as she was it was unlikely she'd be able to wriggle her way out of this situation anytime soon. This must be Uresa, unless another young goblin had the misfortune of getting lost in the woods at this time too.

I began to approach slowly at first, just a couple of steps closer before I began to tense my legs and prepare to pounce. If we acted quickly enough, we should be able to land a solid first strike on this band of pollinating petal pests before they can react, distracted as they are by their goblin captive. And I didn't plan to leave her in their viny grips any longer.

Releasing the tension in my knees, I lunged forward, darting as quickly as I could to the one holding Uresa aloft. I spin my blades towards my target, arms stretching out as I used my tail and feet to help propel my through the air to try and sever the vines and phytoid tendrils that bound the goblin, attempting to free her with my first attack. If I could swing my leg during my lunge to strike the plant that abused her in the face with my foot as I did so, then that was all the better.

It doesn't take much effort to sneak up on the trio, so caught up in the revelry surrounding their captive as they are. You're only spotted by the time you launch yourself at the one currently violating Uresa, and by one of her sisters, no less, who is just a smidge too late to warn you target of the incoming danger. Your blades strike true, severing two of the vine-like appendages just a few feet from where the protrude. The plant girls lets out a horrible shriek, her other tendrils whipping about wildly at the sudden agony. This of course results in Uresa being flung someways across the small little clearing, but she would probably be alright... probably. Regardless, you have more to worry about, sticky, chlorophyll-like "blood" coating your weapons and shirt as the plant girl stumbles backwards from you, equal parts shock, pain, and betrayal on her inhuman features.

"T-That hurt! That really hurt! Why would you do that?!" She exclaims, clutching the stumps of her two severed vines. Her indignity is mirrored by her fellows, who surround her in her defense.

"You dumb meat things always make things hard, don't you?! Mother insists we try to bring your back in one piece, but maybe she doesn't need to know about this!" Another shouts, and you can see several of the dexterous appendages on her back raising up like the hackles on a dog, twitching in preparation to strike. They almost do, fast as vipers, but they suddenly jerk backwards at the last moment, just in time for the sharp whistle of a blade to ring through the air in the space before you; Cyrus apparently decided to join the scene, his rapier warding her off.

"Your 'Mother' really should've taught you no means no, or we wouldn't have had to prune you down to size." I say, flicking some of their sap from my blades. So, they're working under someone's orders? The demon that has everyone worried? Perhaps, but if she were still nearby I feel like it would be more noticeable. Just that feeling I got in my dream alone lets me know her presence isn't anything that could go overlooked. So maybe someone else was this 'Mother' they mentioned. Still, those were questions to ask later, they clearly didn't take what I did very lately and I doubt they'd consider talking things through at this point. I'm glad to have Cyrus with me for this.

"We didn't come here for a spot of weeding, but if you don't run away you won't be leaving us with any choice." I eye each of them up, before following through with an attack against the one I've already trimmed some. My daggers move with the intent to go for any tendrils that could come for me, hoping to get rid of what seems to be their main means of attack, while any attacks of mine that went to the main body were, at least for now, dealt with my feet and pummels, not wanting to kill these things in case they decided to surrender.

The standoff continues for a short period of time, with the plant girls occasionally whipping their tendrils out at you and Cyrus. It only takes a few nicks and close calls for them to realize they don't have much in the way of opposing a bronze blade with just their flesh; their bodies seem more aligned with drawing out blissful moans than they do painful wounds. They don't seem to have all that much experience in battle either. Eventually, after you manage to nearly hack through another tendril, the one with the pink petals lets out a frustrated cry.

"This is no fun! You meat things are all so mean!" It's more analogous to a childish tantrum than anything else, and the upset plant-thing reaches for her sister's shoulder, pulling the most wounded of the bunch against her. "L-Let's go home. We'll tell Mother, and she'll... she'll do something bad to them, and their stupid meat-town."

Ominous as the second part might have been, it seems sufficient, in tandem with your defensive bladework, to convince the other two of their folly. They begin to retreat backwards into the forest, their green flesh blending with a disconcerting ease with the mess of overgrown foliage all around you. Implying you didn't wish to pursue, they would be gone in a matter of minutes, and the only sounds left in the eerily quiet grove would be the gentle sobbing from the downed goblin, who had rolled someways away after the impact.

With the battle coming to an end, I hold my blades at the ready for a few moments more, steadying my breath, before I sheath them. "Well... now we have to worry about the attack of the plant people. That should be interesting." I murmur, before wiping my brow. "You doing okay, Cyrus?" I ask, patting him on the shoulder. "Nice swordsmanship, by the way." I add, and reward him with a kiss on the cheek. With the enemy having fled, I make my way over to where I saw Uresa drop, eager to check on the poor young goblin woman.

I kneel down as I get close to her, tentatively putting a hand out to her shoulder to reassure her. "Hey there, are you Uresa. Your mother asked us to come look for you. How are you feeling, do you think you can walk?" With how she must be feeling, I don't pressure her to answer right away, focusing on reassuring her and helping her calm down. "My names Aurora. I think you know Cyrus. Its lovely to meet you."

"I'm fine," Cyrus reassures, wiping what little sap-blood there is on his rapier before sliding it back into his belt, "You think so? I must admit, I'm much better at using a fleshier kind of sword than this old thing, but it does the job."

The catboy's prowess aside, you make your way over to the poor goblin woman, although now that you can see her properly, it's a bit hard to consider her much of a goblin. The girl, despite her heritage, is rather tall; you reckon she would be the perfect height to rest her chin on your bosom if the two of you were face to face. There's also the matter of the tiny, tusk like protrusions jutting from just under her quivering lips. She almost looks like half an orc... Which has some interesting implications, considering Urag's previous statement about her being important to more than just her mother.

Still, the gob manages to respond well enough when you approach her, valiantly trying to stifle her sobbing in front of you. She looks rather beaten up, with nicks and bruises across her pale green skin, to say nothing of the stains between her legs and the rather painful looking abrasion on her shoulder.

"I'm... I'm Uresa, yeah. I think... I can probably walk," She replies after she's composed herself, although when you introduce yourself and Cyrus, she clams up again, shamefully casting her gaze towards the ground.

"Right, right... Probably shouldn't be seeing this. I'll let a more feminine touch handle this," The bard mutters awkwardly, unpinning his cloak from his chest and handing it to you before he makes his way back to the ridge you had just scaled. The goblin's clothes seem to be missing, so it's no doubt a gesture to try and save her modesty.

Thinking through the implications of Uresa's potential orcish heritage, I think back to the reaction Urag had to my teasing about him knocking me up. Could there be some history behind that? It didn't really seem much my business either way, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued by a potentially juicy scandal. Still, focusing on the here and now, I brush aside some of the dirt stains on her cheeks and arms from the fall and then thank Cyrus for the cloak, before helping wrap it around Uresa.

"Believe it or not, this is making for quite the unique habit for Cyrus, offering up cloaks to barely clad women. Just the other day I myself was stark naked when I first met him. He had to go buy me a cloak to cover myself up with until I could get my own clothes. It made for quite the interesting walk through town, though. I think I made the poor blacksmith blush through his handsome fur." I speak a little slower than my usual rambling speed, trying to keep my tone generally soothing as I talk. My hands brush through her hair a little. "Would you like my shirt? I can wear my jacket alone and still be mostly covered."

I help her to her feet, offering to help support her weight if her legs feel unsteady. "You were very brave for coming out here like you did. But next time you can ask Cyrus or myself to help with gathering ingredients. It sounds like those plant girls are going to continue to be a problem, but we'll scare them off again."

"I'm sure he's very sweet to naked girls..." Uresa manages pathetically as you stroke your fingers through her messy black locks. Your soothing must work well enough to bring the tears to a stop, though you get the idea she hates being seen in her state of weakness. When you offer her your shirt, she shakes her head, and rises up on shaky legs as you pull her up. She seems intent on walking on her own, perhaps finding her pride again now that she's up on her own two feet. Cyrus' cloak finds itself wrapped tightly around her body, her knuckles no doubt white with how tightly she squeezes it closed.

"I'm not coming out here again... I wish those plant-things were all I've had to deal with," She says bitterly, apparently having had quite the harrowing journey before she became the fuck toy of a bunch of flower-bimbos. "Can we get going? I don't want more of them to show up."

"Alright, lets get you back home." I say, gesturing her to follow. Now that we've found her, its best we get her to safety right away. We can make a second trip to search for the logging camp after all. Nadene's spirits should be raised greatly upon seeing Uresa again and hopefully she'll be able to offer the comfort Uresa needs after whatever ordeal she has just been through. It made sense for her to not risk coming out here again, but I still wanted to help in someway. Perhaps I could get a list from Uresa or Nadene about the ingredients they needed collected and bring some back. It wasn't much of a quest, but it would still be helpful. And manageable as long as I had Cyrus's help for protection and didn't delve too deep into the woods.

Gesturing for Cyrus to follow, I began tracing my chain of dagger marks in the trees that I left on the way here, using them to lead us back to the path out of here. I also offered Uresa one of my daggers to hold on the way back, if she so wanted.

The journey back to town is made somewhat less arduous by the few markings threw down here and there on the occasional tree. It's still a trek, of course, now with Uresa stumbling along with you all. By the time you can see Hawkenthorne through the treeline, the sun seems to have begun dipping down below the horizon; the Old Forest, infested by whatever evils had been recently unleashed, seems to drain even the time from the day with its hostile interior. Still, there's more than enough daylight to see you safely out and back onto the main road. The goblin you rescued withers ever so slightly at the sight of the guards, who flag you through without too much issue. It's clear that Uresa is just a tad more shameful at her current state than you had been yesterday in your cloak-clad-adventures. Thankfully, the streets aren't too jam packed with activity, and you manage to get her back to the Alchemist's shop without anybody making undue comments.

The door to the shop creaks as Cyrus, ever the gentleman, opens it for the both of you. Inside you catch sight of a bored looking goblinoid, a few years younger than Uresa but not entirely dissimilar in looks... Aside from the cute little wolf ears jutting out of her messy black mop. A sister from another mister, no doubt. She perks up when she catches sight of Uresa, and quickly calls to the back of the shop.

"Momma! They found her!"

What follows is something of a cacophony. The wolf-gob goes skittering into the back of the shop, and soon a parade of what you can only imagine are Uresa's half-sisters come charging out like bees from a nest. Some are tall, some are small, some have tails, other scales, but all are green and ecstatic to see the return of their kin. The girl of the hour turns to you, giving you a quick hug before the tide consumes her, surprising affection behind it. "Thanks... I'm not good at showing gratitude but... Thank you, for saving me."

It takes Nadene a little longer than her children to come greet the new arrival, and you catch sight of a tearful reunion between the two before the proprietor of the establishment flags down one of the older gobs to help her get cleaned up. She composes herself for a moment, then approaches you, shooing away a particularly curious young'un with a horse-like tail so she can talk to you alone.

"Thank you, thank you so much! Oh, Living Gods, I was so worried for her. Anything you want in return, anything at all so long as I can fulfill it, it's yours." The matronly woman declares, holding your hands in her own.

I felt not small amount of pride as we made it out of the woods and brought Uresa back to the town. It felt good to help people, it really did. It was a part of who I was that I felt often got overlooked, but usually all I want to do is help people. I just... often have a very unique way of doing that. As we approach the alchemy shop, this pride swells up more, and I find myself excited and giddy about being able to see the look on Nadene's face when we bring her daughter back to her. As Cyrus opens the door for the two of us, we step into the alchemy shop and I announce our presence. "Hello, Nadene, there's someone here you might like to-" before I can finish, the half-sister with lupine ears is already scurrying off, and I blink a little in surprise as I await their mother, only to hear what sounds like far too many footsteps for one goblin to have coming towards us.

I'm in the middle of an inner conflict between being delighted at meeting so many new people and wanting to brace myself against the oncoming horde before I'm trampled, only to be caught off guard by Uresa's hug. It takes a moment to register, but I smile and hug her back. "Don't mention it! I'm happy to help, go be with your family." I murmur back to her, though she's likely dragged away by her siblings before I finish.

I smile warmly, rubbing away a tear in my eye as I do so. "I'm not crying, you're crying Cyrus." Seeing this family reunion, especially Nadene's reaction to her daughter's return. Yep, I was right. Adventuring really is just as good as sex, if not better.

I'm not prepared for Nadene's reaction to me, however, and I stand their stunned for a few moments, not entirely sure what to say. "I... uh..." I stutter, looking at the woman before me with an awkward smile. "I didn't really do this for a reward... Oh, I think I do need coins! I forgot about that! But, uh... maybe potions would be better... I... sorry, it feels weird asking for a reward from you. I don't really get material things that much... uh... Cyrus, what should I ask for?"
