1on1 RP Request and Interest Thread

Running a roleplay is a large time investment. I'm not lacking time, but I'm short on willpower, which is why I would be stingy with deciding what to run. It's difficult to stay motivated when you're worried that you won't get out as much as you put in from a 1x1.

I might make a simple group roleplay if I can't find anything to 1x1.

My concepts are by and large intended for group roleplays, and even then I haven't devoted a lot of brainpower to thinking up anything worth sharing.

But it seems like people here have a lot of ideas and/or interests and wants for their roleplaying, so I'd be interested to hear what those things are if someone wanted me to run something.

Addendum: Though, obviously, I'm willing to be a player in something, as well.

I would think of something myself, but I'm busy running RPs outside this forum myself. A dungeon crawl for 2 could be nice though, if you're looking for ideas.

im a better player then GM i will admit that. though i do have something in the works that i intended for a big group RP i might use it later as a 1x1 as test

hehe i mean i have a rough idea of were to start and how the story ends. its just a matter of getting from A to B

I'm not familiar with dungeon crawlers as a genre (though I understand the concept) but I suppose I'm usually geared toward fantasy to begin with.

On the other hand, I did once have an undeveloped idea for a modern/sci-fi "dungeon crawl". It was set in a remote megalaboratory. The idea might have gone a little stale since then (especially since someone on this forum did a similar roleplay last year or so) but still.

This said, I don't make any secret out of my intentions to make a full-sized roleplay one of these days, so keep an eye out for that... I guess?

1on1 RP's are only a major time investment if you have a ton of them going at the same time, like I do. I think at last count I've got 16 or more games I'm either running or am playing in. And that's not even including the regular group RP's I'm in.
