Version 0.4a Release!

Version 0.4a is Finally OUT for Uncommon Tier (5$) and above !

Here's the changelog:


New Map:

    Sister Theresa's bedroom.

    Abandoned Mines.


Sprites:

    New sprite set for Harriet, to fit her appearence.

    New sprite set for Michella's plant to fit its "evolved" appearence.



New events and pics:

    Stading picture for Harriet, Celie's stepmom; you can unlock it by talking to her in her (and Celie's) house.

    New outfit for Celie.

    New outfit for Sister Theresa.

    New sex event with Michella (16 images).

    New sex event with Celie (17 images).

    Mini chain quest to find a "Magic Stone" for Sister Theresa.

    New sex event with Sister Theresa (13 images).


Misc:

After some complaint I've decided to reduce the grind to advance with someone's corruption:

    I've changed the number of times needed to get Mia from lvl 0 to lvl 1 from 5 to 2; from lvl 1 to lvl 2 is already 3 times, I guess that's enough;

    after you bring the dick-plant to Michelle, you need to repeat the event only 2 times now;

    kissing lesson with Celie: you'll need to do the full tongue-action-kiss only 2 times instead of four;

Monthly Progress Report!

Hyello!

First off, how are ya all doing? Are things getting better over there?

It's not been a month since the last "Monthly Report", but last time I was Really late with it ;P

Anyway, here's what I did so far from the lar report (15th of april):

- Second new event, starring Nicci: 13 images done so far, still need to do a couple more before it's finished;

- Set up a new mini-game, a stealth run; because of certain..."circumstances", you'll need to walk through Veisen while avoiding being seen by other people.

Monthly Progress Report!

Time for a Monthly report!

Sooo....

What I did so far during the previous month?

- Second new event, starring Nicci: is now Done (for a total of 24 images!)

- Third (and last) new event, starring Emily and Nicci:

first set- Done ( 3 images)

second set - On Going (2 images done so far)

Just a couple more images, and then I'm done with drawing, so I'll start to pack everything together and code events ingame! ;D

- New sprites for tentacle beasts (2)

- New standing pictures for Michella naked human and demon form
- New, non-sexual event - fixing the broken bridge in the ruins

Bugfixes from 0.5A to 0.5E:
- Entering Michella's house second floor after her corruption would restart the last event - FIXED
- During the naked, stealth run, going back from the main disrict to the residential area was broking the event --> FIXED
- Michella's house second floor - after her corruption the door would lead to the old floor's version --> FIXED
- After Emily's transformation, if you go back through the hole into the meadow, the first sequence with Emily parasitized is replayed ---> FIXED

Monthly Progress Report!

Hyello Dear Perv...ehm..."Followers and Supporters"! ;D

How are you all doing?

Did you have a good summer vacation (considering the global situation of course...)?

Here's a little list of what I did so far from the release of version 0.5:

- Restyled flowers' shop, which will show up after Michella is fully corrupted.

- Two New standing pictures for Michella, one wearing her old outfit, but with bigger breasts, and another one with a new outfit, better fitting her succubus' form.

- First new sexual event, between Sister Nicci and Celie, is now done, for a total of 45 images (ok, maybe I overdid it a little with this one -.-')

That's all, for now!

Heya!
I guess it's about time to let you know how things are going, right?
So, this is what I did so far from the last report:
- New outfit for Emily, available after she's fully corrupted;
- Second new sexual event, starring Sister Theresa,, has now reached 31 images! I only need to do one more image to conclude this one too!

After this, only the last event, starring Penelope, the seamstress is left

Here's the changelog:

New Maps & Miscs:
- New version of the flowers' shop after Michella's corruption.
- After Michella is fully corrupted, and the bridge down the ruins is fixed, she'll notify you that she's selling her "special plants" and they can be seen around the city.
- Changed tiles for convent's outside walls.

New Sprites:
- New sprite set for Michella's new outfit
- New sprite set for Emily's new outfit
- New sprite set for Celie (naked).
- new sex sprites for the new events.

New events and pics:
- 2 New standing pictures for Michella, one with her normal outfit, but bigger breasts, and another one with a new outfit, available after the bridge down the ruins is fixed and Risa is in Veisen.
- First new sex event - with Celie - 45 images.
- New standing picture for Emily, wearing a new, lewder outfit, available after her fully corruption.
- Second new sex event - with Sister Theresa - 32 images

To the Future, and beyond!


Hello Folks!

As I said in my previous post, there's a BIG change incoming.

Please, take 1-2 minutes of your time to read this, because it's important.

I don't know if you noticed, but between the end of january and the start of february, I was hit by another Massive drop in subscriptions.

I can understand people leaving for whatever reason, like losing interest in the game, or being unhappy about something, even tho the most "popular" choice is the financial issue, which is Totally understandable, especially with all the shit that's going on right now, but not getting ANY new subscription to compensate, Ever, well, that's getting my morale and motivation under the bridge right now.

Even after releasing the new update I barely got a little increase, which disappeared by the end of the month.

So after crying in a corn...ehm..."after deciding on what to do next" I went and asked other fellow devs for some advice, and, well, almost all of them said that I should run away as far as I can from rpg maker vx ace, because it's freaking old, and either upgrade to rpg maker MV, or drop the engine altogether and move to Ren'Py.

Now, I have Zero experience in coding with Ren'Py, and starting from scratch at this point won't be ideal in my opinion, but, on the other hand, I already own a copy of rpg Maker MV...

So, what are the advantages of using MV instead of VX Ace?


- For starters, I can use wharever resolution I want!

With Vx Ace I was bound with a 4:3 aspect ratio, and I had to use an external script to make the window a tiny bit larger too, while with MV there is a built-in plugin to customize the size of the window to whatever I want.


- MULTIPLATFORM!

Yep, that's right! With MV I can finally import my games to other system, like ANDROID! Mac and Linux. And that's something impossible to do with Vx ace.



So, why didn't I move sooner to MV?

Because right now, as you know, I'm making every sprite to looks like it's respective character, and I also make sex sprites to use during events, and that's something I can't do with MV, since it had those Chibi sprites, with Ultra big heads; but thankfully I was given a couple of workaround to still use VX Ace sprites on the new version as well.

The other reason was the fear to not being able to find all the needed plugins, or not being able to customize them as I wanted, since they work in a different way from VX Ace scripts.

It obviously won't be an immediate transaction, since I need to rebuild All the maps, and learn how to use the new plugins, while Stll drawing images for version 0.7; but I've already started stockpiling useful plugins and tilesets to use and I've already built a couple of maps buring the past week, so I won't start from Zero ^.-

I hope you'll understand that this is something that I Really need to do in order to continue, hoping that it will get me to a better situation.

Succubus Tales - Chapter 2: The Relic -- V 0.7 Release! - MV Edition!

It's HERE!
Version 0.7 on MV is Finally HERE! (for Uncommon Tier (5$) and above !)

The first and Most important change:

- The game has been ported from "RPG Maker VX Ace" to "RPG Maker MV"!
- So, MV HAS an option to port games for Android, but it doesn't really work...yeah... (-.-)'
Damn you Kadokawa!
But luckily I found an Ultra-detailed guide on how to do it properly, using Android Studio.
I wanted to port the game for Mac too, but after checking rpgmaker forum, it seems like the only way to do it is to make the game directly from a Mac, because Windows doesn't really know how to handle mac's files;
so for obvious reason, I just can't do it, sorry.
- So the game is now available for Both Windows and Android!

Now to the game!

- The first noticeable change is the aspect size! Vx Ace run on a 4/3 aspect ratio, but here I opted for a 16/9, increasing the size to 1280x720!

- Reworked the main menu screen, it's now Animated!

- I've remade and visually improved a total of 48 maps!
I've tried to make the general view more..."appealing", by creating better buildings, adding a couple of details here and there and such;

- I've recoded ingame All the previous events, that's around 40 events + variation!
I had to edit some of the old images to better fit the new window's size.

- For the characters' sprites, for most of them, I've just scaled them up (MV uses a different size ratio than Vx Ace), but where the result wasn't much good, I've remade them directly in MV.

New Events:

- First new event - with Mia, the barmaid (and Risa) - 18 images!

- Second new event - with Emily and Nicci, it's a repeatable event (After emily is fully corrupted) - 25 images!

- Third new event - with Juliette, the innkeeper - 22 images!

- Kristy - New outfit!

- As usual, a Big thank you to Hoboy for proofreading the game!
