News desk:

You will play as a male news co-anchor, Garrick Reynolds. You and your female co-host (Cassandra Hamilton) are both alphas that clawed your ways to where you are now. The new problem is that the station is getting bought by a big news corporation and there will only be one anchor when the sale goes down. Both you and your colleague will try to sabotage each other to get that coveted spot. Maybe your opponent’s college aged daughter would be a good place to start.

The main gameplay will consist of a build your deck kind of system. You’ll start with a basic set of cards and the events that you encounter, the sex scenes that you’ll discover, and the decision you make will add or remove cards from your deck. You’ll also be able to mess with your co-anchor’s deck but she’ll get to do the same in return.


Sex tags (present and future):
M/F, F/F, humiliation, M dom, F sub, anal, incest(Mother/Daughter), mind break, exhibitionism, gangbang, prostitution.

The deets (V0.08):
- Added card arts (both yours and Cassandra’s)
- Added tutorial, along with the ability to replay the first game as often as you like to practice.
- Changed game mechanics. You now try to get the other to zero influence rather than get to 50.
- Because of the change in mechanics, I change a few of your and Cassandra’s cards.
- I also removed the rewards for removing her cards as I found that it was hard to remember when playing.
- Added character art everywhere!
- Added an event to “business street”.
- Added a new card for you.
- Added a networking option in “news room” to help buff up your influence.


The deets (V0.07):
- 5 new Cassandra scenes.
- 1 new Tiffany shared scene.
- 4 new Emily scenes. (This crazy girl was pretty fun to write)


The deets (V0.06):
- Designed 10 new cards.
- Added 10 new events in the town.
- 2 new game mechanics. “Whore” and “Sexual”.
- Added the “Whore” keyword to Karen++.
- Fixed the double Karen bug. (You’d have to restart the game to not have her twice… Or you can keep her and have twins as secretaries. ^_^)
- Added the functionality to tap allies to be able to get rid of Her appearance card.
- Made the common events appear at a rate of 30% rather than 50% in town. So you’ll get the targeted location events more often.
- updated the “how to play” page.

Build V0.05 is out which means that V0.03 is free for everyone.

The deets (V0.03):
- Ally backend code.
- Maximilian’s (Ally) story and functionality.
- Karen’s (Ally) 3 part story and functionality. (sexy time in this one)
- Tiffany’s two part intro.
- 1 Cassandra scene.
- 5 Tiffany scenes.
- Emily intro.
- Save/load functionality.

I also have an announcement. My lovely wife, who usually does my art, is buried in work from her day job and can’t help me for the foreseeable future. Which means that I’ll be looking for an artist to commission for jobs. If you are one or you know of a good one, post me your/their info and I’ll add it to my own list.

Does the public version end with fucking Tiffany? Also I no longer have any blackmail options that are not ??? or high heels 2 which is waaaay down there.

Seems like Cassandra gets glory a hella lot, and it took me a bit to realize she can take my money too, that set me back some. Also not sure if it was intended but if you have no money you can still meditate and get an energy boost. Heck it works even if you only have $2 on you. Not sure if I'm missing a random encounter or what, but it's fun now that I (mostly) know what I'm doing.

Yeah, that's where it ends for that version. I think I fixed that bug in future versions but I'll give it a look again to be sure. I'm glad you're having fun!

- Added the gym training button to up your maximum energy.
- Added the upgrading button to the business district. With this you can up the effectiveness of your cards while lowering it’s cost.
- Added the removing button to the ghetto. With this you can remove cards from your deck.
- Fixed some bugs new and old.
- Added min/max for cards (min number of cards: 10) (Max number of cards: 40)
- seperate the events. Now the locations have their unique events. Some events are shared by one or two locations and some are communal events that can be accessed anywhere.
- added 7 new events.

I would also like to announce that I have 2 new artists to help make the game more visually exiting!

MUPLUR (https://www.patreon.com/muplur) will be the main artist for the game. In charge of the character sprites, CGs and backgrounds. He will only really be fully on board in April but may or may not be able to squeeze in a drawing or two before that. Like the one up there.

Pale Horse Will be in charge of card and ally art so that both parts of the game will visually advance at the same time.

Even though there's still a lot of room to go, this game is pretty good already. The bones are there, and if past work is anything to go on, we're in for a treat once it gets fleshed out.

Playing v0.04
Maybe I skip over a tutorial somewhere, but the game doesn't seem intuitive. It took me a great chuck of time to figure out how to use the battle system. I currently don't understand what influence, work, or glory are used for. I don't know if I had very bad luck the few time I restarted, but the battle system is so stack against me that I have very little resources to do anything afterwards. Especially since there are cards that are lose 20 work, influence, money, or blackmail while adding a high number to Cassandra's pool. Is this an example of me needing to "git gud"? If I am missing something, please let me know.

You can get he "how to play" page by right clicking. I do need to make the first fight into a tutorial. I'm aiming to do that for the next version.

Also, you don't need to "git gud". The game is supposed to kick your ass at the start. Cassandra caught you with your pants down. ^_^ Now you need to claw your way to the top and make her heel.

I'm putting more and more tools to help you with that with every update.

Build V0.07 is out which means that V0.05 is free for everyone.

The deets (V0.07):
- 5 new Cassandra scenes.
- 1 new Tiffany shared scene.
- 4 new Emily scenes. (This crazy girl was pretty fun to write)


The deets (V0.05):
- Fixed 2 past bugs.
- Added 6 new Cassandra blackmail scenes.
- Added 4 new Tiffany shared scenes.
- Added in the Cassandra card degradation as you use her. (Will need to restart to get those engaged, sadly)
- Now that you have more tools to win, I added a surprise for you when you start to win too much glory.
- Added a cap to maximum energy. Also, it you skip the gym too often, your energy will drop.
- Added the “how to play” button to the start screen.


This last version was very sexy scene focused as I came to an epiphany this month. I took some time to play my game (something that needs to be done but is actually hard to find the time to do.) and found a few points to either fix up or change. The bigger point, though was that next month, I’ll retouch the main game mechanics. Right now, it feels more like some kind of race rather than a battle. I have a few plans to make it feel better and to jazz it up a little.

As for the art, MUPLUR is currently working on the characters. He’s now on board and will provide us with awesome CGs.

Pale Horse has been working like a champ! I have a bunch of art for the player cards and will add it all in the next build. He will now start work on Cassandra’s cards.

We now have art! All 4 main characters are now there for your viewing pleasure and all the cards for the game part are illustrated. Not only that but you now have a tutorial to get you started. If you were wondering when to give this game a try, V0.08 would be a good starting point.

I just wanna say I really like the new build, but i'm still having trouble with the difficulty of it all.

Early on Resources are extremely limited, now I understand keeping her work low is the primary goal, the issue becomes gaining resources to actually deal with most things.

For example, her appearance card requires tapping two allies, which the game seems to give no real hints on how to acquire, and even if you DO get them, you can only do it ONCE.

Attempting to 'win' requires you to have a large amount of resources banked. Blackmail gets easy with a number of 'bend over' cards, but cards that reduce her influence aren't easy to get, generosity requires precious money, and it's difficult to manage energy as well.

the best way to 'win' seems to be to max energy and influence, then ignore work and make sure she doesn't 'gain' influence, meaning you have to constantly expend precious resources to even attempt it, and if you fail she'll gain massive amounts of glory.

I also feel like there needs to be a 'card catalogue', giving players at least an idea of how many cards there are, and potentially a drop location.

My main issue with the .08 battle system is that you -want- to lose as early as possible, when she doesn't have any work, and before you run out of resources to prevent that. To me, at least, it feels counter-intuitive, players should always /try/ to win, as well as to save resources.

My suggestions:
Give the players incentive for attempting to 'win', allowing them to see how close they are to actually beating cassandra, without expending all resources. A payout based on work accumulated probably, maybe something if her base influence is lower than her starting influence.

Make Cassandra 'scale' a bit, her cards get weaker as you exploit her, with the exception of appearance (Which is the hardest card to deal with), Personally I'd like to see her cards change overall as she gets more depraved. 'Perverted fans' +30 influence, -10 glory' or some such. It makes it slightly more difficult for the player to continue winning, but also slows down her race to the end (That she's already had a headstart on).

the scaling will probably also require the player to get stronger as well, of which i'd like to see your cards evolve as well, cards that make her more 'depraved' but cost more resources.

Overall the game is super fun, but the issue becomes 'you have to expend resources to win or not lose, but you also need many resources to get stronger as well'.

Finally some minor things:
A card 'catalogue' would be nice, allowing players to see how many cards are available and maybe potentially where they drop. (A ? card stating 'business section' for example)
The Rumours card is a bit misleading, as it doesn't tell you that it's 'count' resets on use. suggested text:
-2 to HER influence for each sexual card you've played this BAttLE OR since the last Rumours card was played
Though that may be too long.
Disallow players from buying WHORE cards without access to one. It took me forever to find out how to get one even.
Make 'scenes' replayable with no rewards, simply 'grey' the button or somesuch to show players it's already been seen, a sort of 'gallery' mode.

Just some thoughts, i'm going to try to play through the game again with my knowledge from my last cheating round to see how it pans out, but overall it's enjoyable game, I just wish it incentivized attempting to win, so that players could get a feel for 'how close' they are to actually doing so, and allowing them to experiment with how to do so effectively.

After replaying it, I found I still couldn't quite /beat/ it without at least save-scumming early.

The key it seems, to resources, is to gain them after battle, not in. The catch is, these are completely random, and it's a struggle early on without much energy, which to increase, requires energy.
Perhaps, instead of giving rewards, a static choice for gaining, at least money, should be implemented. Simply 'work overtime'.

The /catch/ is, balancing that with using the prostitute or meditating at the gym, but at least that's random, so sans save-scumming there's a chance you'll run out of your remaining energy first.

Also: I think you should take a look at a balance pass on the cards that reduce HER influence, Most Notably Power Play. It becomes trivial to gain enough glory (about 15-20) via schmoozing, then remove cards from your deck until that's about all that's there.

Gain work from random events, start a battle, draw 4 power plays in the first turn or so, win. It's easy enough to regain that glory through work acquired outside as you'll usually have a full 200, because power play doesn't take energy to use.

My suggestion is to increase power plays cost, or add a secondary cost. I'd also suggest bringing the other -influence up a bit in power, Flash tits requires a chunk of harder-to-get blackmail for less -influence, and generosity requires precious money.

Anyways, I think that's it, again all decisions are up to you, I don't know whats planned to change, or whats going to be added, so these are just suggestions based entirely on the current patreon build.
