Introducing - Magebuster: Amorous Augury (PC and Android)

Brought to you by the same people who made Demon King Domination, Magebuster: Amorous Augury is about a powerful spirit named Xarric summoned from another world by Sophia, a mage who wants to form a binding contract with him. Not wanting to become Sophia's servant, Xarric fights back, beginning a magic duel.

It builds on the concepts we introduced in Demon King Dominion – giving players a deeper combat system, dialogue options and over double the content.

Will he be able to defeat Sophia and keep his freedom? And if he does... What will he do to the young mage?

About the Public Demo

Unlike most other Patreon devs and studios, Belgerum isn’t trying to make massive games that are going to take years to complete. Instead, we focus on smaller titles that we can deliver completed versions of in 3 – 4 months, and we hope that with more support we can make a suite incrementally more complex projects over time.

This is why we offer a public demo instead of a public build. The demo is meant to be a peak into what the final game will entail. You’re meant to get a glimpse at the combat system, not be able to already figure out the majority of the game. That’s why there is a plot device in the public build that prevents players from being able to beat her.

This plot device IS NOT PRESENT IN THE PATREON BUILD, which also offers more sneak previews of the various end scenes you can come to expect in the final product.

There will also be no additions made to the public demo before release, although we will update the patron build versions one or two times before the final game is complete. We intend to continue this trend for all of our games throughout the foreseeable future but will of course tweak it as required.

We hope you enjoy your experience with Magebuster regardless of which version you play, and welcome any and all feedback with fervor. (Please leave feedback!)

Thank you,

One of the things which I cannot determine from the first post is what happens to the finished games; whether and when they become freely available to the public.

Another is whether or not you all are familiar with the Creative Corner's Forum Rules, specifically the rule and rule-of-thumb in posts 1 and 11 of that thread.

It's also discussed in post 15; depending on the entirety of the situation, this game's thread may be better located in another place.

(Now, one could indeed consider games "available" to the public when they are available for general purchase.

To avoid any possibility of ambiguity, the "freely" in my first sentence in this post means "without charge".)
