What is League of Corruption?

League of Corruption is an adult parody of the popular game League of Legends made with RPG Maker MV. Its story revolves around a young summoner apprentice in a tough situation. One day Noxian High Command’s lieutenant shows up at his door with an offer, which doesn’t have “No” as an option. Where will this adventure lead our hero? You’ll choose his path via decisions throughout the game.

LoC offers you classic RPG gameplay with humor and hot sex scenes. Enjoy the journey with League of Legends female champions on seven different continents. Build your team and overcome obstacles in your way. Get and improve your own castle with various bonuses and opportunities. Embrace the sweet offers of corruption or stay pure.

One way or another, your actions will cause different events and shape the future of the entire world. Will you be its savior or executioner?

RPGMaker? What’s the difference between LoC and more than a thousand other games?

True, there are a lot of RPGMaker games nowadays. I try to make League of Corruption stand out in the crowd with a number of features and unique traits. The list is constantly growing both from my own ideas and player’s suggestions / feedback. You can check out planned features here:

• Widescreen 1280x720 resolution instead of default 816x624.
• A non-linear story with a lot of cutscenes and a fitting soundtrack to set up the atmosphere.
• Sex scenes featuring a rich narrative and non-static graphics with your favorite champions. LoC has the album feature for replaying scenes after unlocking them.
• Personal game experience with a lot of adjustable options, including a switchable PoV for sex scenes.
• Branching plot with a variety of quests and different ways to solve them.
• LoC has several global endings planned. Each champion will have personal afterword depending on your decisions and their state at the end of the game.
• Affection and corruption progression system for the main character and his team.
• Customizable combat skills, changing environment and minigames like blackjack.
• Optional hardcore zones for challenge-hungry players.

Adult Content

League of Corruption will include a decent amount of different fetishes. I tried to make a fitting selection for League of Legends champion and lore base. Events with specific kinks will have a warning and an option to skip scenes if the player decides to do so. Here's the list of what is planned for the main plotline:

Pairings – Male / Female, Female / Female and group versions. No pure furry / futa content.

Main kinks – Corruption and mind control.

Secondary kinks – Group sex, BDSM, humiliation, moral degeneration, nuns, prostitution, public use, piercings and tattoos, creampies, squirting, bukkake.

Why should I support you? What will I get?

I would hope you’ll support me because you like what I'm doing and want me to keep doing it – with increasing quality and quantity. LoC is constantly improving and growing more features, so you can influence what I will add next and increase the development speed. Will it matter? Yes, you will and the difference may be as big as comparing a ride on a creaky bicycle with cruising in a luxury sports car with both feet on the gas pedal.

Patrons have early access to all released content, plus they have a number of unique rewards which will never go public. These rewards include: hi-res sex scene art + extras, special variations of H scenes, special previews, polls and all the bonus goodies I will come up with during the development.

What will you do with my pledge?

My goal is to create a game that looks and plays great but to do this I have to hire talented people. All your support will be focused on commissions for high-quality art, music and other features. If the Patreon is successful, I’ll use this opportunity to expand from one-man-band to a small studio. More gifted people = greater amount of awesome content for games.

Your support will directly affect the scale of LoC. I want to give players a chance to see their favorite champions in the game with a new plot branch. It will interact with the main one and feature new characters, which patrons will decide via a poll. We are releasing the modified version of the demo package so our players can try out the new approach to sex scenes. The fresh 0.0.5b update for patrons has it too.

Hi, guys. I want to talk about changes to the reward/tier system.

Let’s start with the reasons for such a change. This is my first Patreon campaign and while I tried to present the game as best as I could, yet it didn’t work out well. Such outcome could be caused by two major factors: tiers are priced too high and LoC is not interesting or good enough to be supported in comparison to other projects.

By lowering all tiers except the last one I’ll be able to pinpoint the problem and work further with gathered results. To be completely clear, the new lineup of rewards will be 1$ - 5$ – 10$ - 15$. Also, all releases will be available for free after 2 weeks from the release for patrons.

So it’ll be like this: November 1st – 15$ tier patrons get links for download, November 5th same for the 10$ tier, November 8th same for 5$ tier and finally November 22nd – public release of the same update. This is just an example and exact dates can vary from one release to another but will follow the same schedule.

The 0.0.5 version will be available for public access October 22nd.

I'm getting some kind of error after the MC tries to clear the rubble at the ruin and they fall through the floor it looked like? It just gives me a failed load image message and a retry button, which doesn't fix it.

Sorry to hear this. To clarify the exact place – it’s the entrance to the keep after the encounter with the first skeleton and Ashe, right?

Played through the build before releasing it and never found this problem. Downloaded 0.0.5, started new game – no problems with transitioning to the dungeon. I also tried to use old saves from the demo (0.0.1 build) and successfully entered the underground.

If I understand correctly, the error says something like “can’t locate file X in directory path Y”, plus there is a retry button lower on the screen. It appears then the game can’t locate one of the files it tries to use. One of the players got a similar problem where directory path was something like a temp folder, not a clear directory. If you have a similar experience, I’ll try contacting RPGM support because I think this error can appear from 2 possible reasons:

1) RPGM has some strange non-obvious requirements or has problems with running on some mix of soft and hardware. Of course, there’s always a possibility that we encountered a bug.
2) The game has it all assets in archives and to access something in them it needs to unpack the said archive. Maybe it looks suspicious to your anti-malware soft.

It would be great to have the exact error phrasing via a screenshot. After that, I’ll contact RPGM support.

I'm hoping in future patron/public releases you'll place the contents of the game inside a folder as it made a mess on my computer on ZIP extract. ^^>~

I've dabbled into RPGMaker MV/World Building... and personally love how much time you've spent building each map to quality; especially the interiors maps. Although- the plains exterior (Ex. First one you land on; after being teleported on the bed) leaves a bit more to be desired. I love how the player is guided into the dialogue/plot with mini-events which pretty much buckled me into the journey. Although- you have some minor proofreading errors (Ex. after going into the cave/dungeon and taking the 'ball of power' and being transported to another castle... the dialogue for the 'Mind Control' scene for Ashe has the following mistake. "Ashe slowly reaches for my ---- with her hand and touches it light. Girl's blue eyes look puzzled as if woken from a dream, puzzled." which should possibly be "Her" and on the same event; as the Main Character talks with the 'ball of power' he says "Why do you help me at all? What are you?" which should possibly be "Why do you want to help me at all?"

It was short (Typical of first public builds) I couldn't find much more to do after entering the ball of power's domain/castle and the event ended. I sort of hope future posts/builds for both patron/public will indicate what you'll be doing (Chapter 1: Finding the light; has been released) versus just saying a new public build is out (list the changes?) (and possibly have a message that tells us when we caught up) "That's it folks!" or "End of Public Build." since I lost more time trying to ensure that was all to see! Cause overall- the game looks promising and kept me playing. I love the art by the way (Super High Quality) A++ and the effort to event-itize/animate the images too (undressing/frame animation) is awesome! ...but probably consumes lots of extra time from the artist. I believe ill be paying attention to this one (and will possibly support down the line) after it has more content in it! =]

After releasing 0.0.5 to the public we got some disturbing feedback about laggy dungeons with dynamic lights and a critical crash during the fall into the dungeon under the keep. Removed lights plugin and fixed the crash caused by sneaky non-unicode characters in the tileset.

If you encountered described problems, please take a look at this release. This update also includes some improvements to the UI and the album feature to replay unlocked scenes with girls.

You can download the fixed version from Google Disk and Mega. I also changed all the older links on Patreon to point to this version.

RPG Maker gave me another nasty surprise – maps with the faulty tilesets (the last problem with non-Unicode characters) tried to find the faulty pngs even if they are set to transparent/none state in the editor itself.

I had to deploy a virtual machine with a minimal language support to test out this build and scour through all event tiles. All zones work as intended without any problems or load errors. Guess I have to test each new build in this way from now on to guarantee a spotless release.

If you encountered map loading problems get the fresh release here – Google and Mega. I also updated all the links in the first post.

Version 0.1.0 is ready for testing, still waiting for the last (6th) scene’s art tho. I decided to post a quick summary of the current content, before November 1st which is the planned release date:

5 scenes (if you count in the starting one) with 29 images, 7.5k words and 11 quests. This release also has new features, some of which I already showed in 0.0.5 hotfix, but let’s review them:

Scene album – now you can replay your favorite scenes via a book on the second floor of your keep. It also allows you to check your progress and see if there are scenes to unlock in the current content pack. Don’t worry if you started playing before the album. Simply replay the scene in the album and it will add up to your total score.

Save/Load/Delete option for your saves right in the in-game menu. Just because exiting to the title so you can use load function is a pain in the rear. Now you can manage your saves without the need to hop between different screens.

Sleep function. Players asked for a place to recover their strength and prepare for future adventures. Using your bed or an inn fully restores your party including KO’d characters. You can sleep inside your room in the castle or visit two inns – one in the Townsville’s main area and another one in the port.

There is a lot of new stuff and minor fixes/adjustments from the 0.0.5 version but I’ll post the full changelog on the release date. Thanks for tuning in!

Total summary: 1h+ for the complete clear. 6 scenes (if you count in the starting one) with 36 images, 7.5k words, 10 custom soundtracks and 11 quests. 0.1.0 has the first of the group scenes with several girls, Nidalee and Ahri this time.

You can get the update here. 0.1.0 version will be released to the public access November 22nd.

Features

The first of teleportation crystals sits between the Townsville and the port area. Use it to cover the ground faster and check what’s new in your keep. There will be more in upcoming updates because no one wants to waste time just to get to their camp.

The functional second floor of the keep. Now you can talk with your companions about recent events, participate in party banter; get to know your teammates better and even unlock scenes.

Scene album – now you can replay your favorite scenes via a book on the second floor of your keep. It also allows you to check your progress and see if there are scenes to unlock in the current content pack. Don’t worry if you started playing before the album. Simply replay the scene in the album and it will add up to your total score. Oh, and don’t forget you can use Enter to skip the dialogues.

Decisions and consequences. In the 0.1.0 players will get their hands on the second shard of power and you will decide what to do with it: use it yourself or give it to the spirit in the orb. Both ways influence what skills and options you’ll get down the road. All the remaining shards will use the same decision mechanism.

Various user interface tweaks like Save/Load/Delete option for your saves right in the in-game menu. Just because exiting to the title so you can use load function is a pain in the rear. Now you can manage your saves without the need to hop between different screens.

The first puzzle/mini-game in the dungeon. I want to add more optional yet interesting stuff further in the game, so it will be more than “stab ‘em all” simulator. More on this in the upcoming development plans.

Fixes and improvements

Fixed possible screen flicker after using AOE skills on some video cards. Yes, I’m mainly looking at you, Intel.
Fixed an overlooked issue where you could start the cutscene in Hump’s mansion without speaking to the guard first.
Fixed a problem with Hump’s mansion quest part if player would leave the party rapidly after the opening cutscene.
Relocated some impassable map blocks in the castle to make it more comfortable for players. Plus, tweaked some of the older maps to look slightly better.
Evened up the volume level between combat and system sounds to be more consistent.
Fixed some typos and spelling errors. Thanks for reporting them!
Fixed some party skills and tweaked animations for them. Nidalee’s Focus now properly provides a small heal on use.
Quest NPC who reward you with an invite for Hump’s party no longer mention it during the dialogue if you already completed that part of the quest or have enough invites already.
Added more people to the Townsville both before and after Hump’s party to liven the place up a bit.

Before diving into the development plan for November I want to point out how the early access posts for patrons will function. It’s simple – I’ll change the requirement on the early access download link according to the pledges and corresponding release dates. November 1st – 15$, November 5th – 10$, November 8th – 5$ This way it’ll be nice and tidy without spamming the same post with different requirements each month. So, don’t forget to check the early access post later.

Now for the November development plans – version 0.1.5. Yes, there will be the usual new maps, quests, scenes and finally a way to leave the starting island. But let’s start with another feature announcement – this time it’s the parallax mapping. Ok, what it will bring? Parallaxes replace the standard squire-to-squire maps, so creators can draw locations in their own style. Here are some examples of what I’m talking about:

The game will still use the traditional squares for internal logic like moving, interaction with NPCs, etc. Yet the picture players will see is no longer bound by those squares. 0.1.5 will have its new locations prepared in the parallax way and after the public release, I’ll make a poll to see what you, the players, think of it. If it goes well, I’ll replace the old maps too, not in a single update though, as parallax is more time-consuming.

Alright, what else? I want to add optional minigames and puzzles to LoC, so the gameplay won’t feel like a standard hack'n'slash RPG if the player decides to get involved. Let’s start with minigames - I want to add a card game for pubs and inns, something easy to understand and implement. Can’t name the exact type at the moment but blackjack sounds pretty good.

As for the puzzles, button/levers puzzles are great but sort of standard. I want to try something new, like a puzzle where the sound is the key to solving it. Many RPGMaker games are almost completely silent except for battle sounds while LoC has a decent soundtrack. Why not expand on this even further? Of course, it doesn’t mean that I’ll ignore more common puzzles in the future but this seems like a nice touch.

Two things concerning your plans:

-Be aware that using parallax mapping implies heavier CPU usage and possible lags to players with less potent machines. So I'd suggest testing the game in an older laptop, if you have access to one. I know that for RPG Maker VX Ace games, there are workarounds about that but I have no idea about MV sorry.
-If you're going to add sound clues to puzzles, you should consider that a portion of your players play the game with the sound muted (or they are playing their favorite music instead). So a in-game warning (by internal monologue of the MC for instance) at the appropriate places would be a nice touch.

Yeah, after getting in trouble with dynamic lights, I test such features on the old netbook. It has a little more resources than a toaster :) LoC uses static parallax backgrounds so the game doesn’t have to compute it with each step on the map. Thanks for the idea about the sound puzzle – I’ll use it. Kind of sad that someone can miss out on the in-game tracks but oh well…

Finishing with the beach map, almost done now. Here’s a small movie with its current state. Moving on to indoor areas to test out parallax there.

Hey guys! It’s time for 0.1.0 public release and today is a bit special. As I already mentioned in the previous post, we decided to upgrade the LoC’s art. 0.1.5 and all the later versions will come out with the new graphics, but it’s a long wait for our followers who are still deciding if they want to back us up. Yeah, the teaser is there yet it’s not the same. Well, long story short – we managed to rework Ahri’s first scene before 0.1.0 public release date so you can check out the art.

You can download the public release here – Google and Mega. I also updated the main post’s links.

Our patrons can get the hi-res version of the reworked scene here. It’s a separate archive for the convenience. Of course, it will be included in the upcoming full-art pack after 0.1.5 release.

Whew, this month was quite a busy one. Aside from the usual new scenes, quests and parallax maps, I went further with puzzles and minigames. But let’s start with numbers and compare 0.1.5 with 0.1.0:

6 scenes with 36 images -> 8 scenes with 57 images
7.5k words -> 12.5k words
10 custom soundtracks -> 17 custom soundtracks
11 quests -> 15 quests
1+ hour for full clear -> 2+ hours for full clear

Scenes

2 new scenes – one for Ashe and Ahri. I receive a lot of feedback about the small length of sex scenes, so I decided to go a bit further this time. Ahri’s scene is the largest one in the game both in word count and image variations. Let’s what you think about this one.

Old, first scenes with Nidalee and Ashe got some love too. But it’s a part of old content updating, so I will go into more details in the upcoming December development plans around the 5th.

Minigames and puzzles

Starting out small - I created an optional sound puzzle which requires players to match the sound on the tubes. Judging by community reaction, I’ll try different approaches to puzzles. The next one is a card minigame – a simplified version of blackjack, which you can see on these screenshots.

Card minigames can be interesting extra to the game and I want to add more of them in the future. Though, doing so will require some JS coding skill because the blackjack here is a nightmare to debug – a lot of repetitive code and other bad stuff due to RPGMaker’s limitations.
Using clear code will lift all the limits but I need time to learn it. Please, share your feedback on the minigames!

Interface changes

Changed how skill costs display in the menus. Now, with an addition to the colored numbers, all costs have MP or TP. This way it’s more informative and colorblind friendly.
Added stats for all items so players can see what they buy before doing so.
Added a proper credit section for developers, CC assets authors and even some of the patrons ;)
Nidalee lost her MP bar since she doesn’t use it at all.

Skill/Balance changes

Lowered crit damage multiplayer from a nuclear strike to a stronger blow.
Increased resurrection priority so resurrected characters could be affected by heals on the same turn. Nobody likes to die twice in a row.

Bug fixes

Fixed a bug with Ahri’s equipment slots – she can equip all the standard items now.
Fixed a bug with a shimmering picture just before you load on some maps.
Nidalee lost her MP bar since she doesn’t use it at all.
Finishing Ahri’s quest now properly give credit for the first step in the journal. This is a pure cosmetic change.
Fixed an album bug with Ahri x Nidalee groupy scene. It now properly plays through the album with all images.
