Nice to see the game in here, just recently came into this game and im loving it ^^

Just al ittle thing though, your wiki needs some update, i cant find the skeleton princess head by any way described there (public version) I hope i can manage to help your patreon as soon i have some extra income ^^'

I'm glad you like it! Unfortunately I have no free time (... period) to work on the Wikia.
All the content in there is user-made, so feel free to edit it as you like if you find something missing.

The Skeleton Cranium is near Drider Princess' Hideout (in Golem Princess' tower, to the right) or just outside Golem Princess' Reign if they lose and you have yet to pick it up!

The hireable ones are:
Kobold (obviously)
Human
Slime
Golem
Insect
Skeleton
Desert
Ghost
Goblin
Moth
Cat
Dog

DragonP I during her ending

As for hiring all of them:

-Get in good terms with them, then go save them from a siege
OR
-Buy them from a slave auction if they get sold to Goblin Princess

A third method will be ready soon.

1) In 11 you have these princesses

You can't recruit Cow (Holstaur), Frog. Faun or Merchant Princess to my knowledge and I may be faulty on the others since I haven't played since 10.2.

In regards to recruiting, the overall way to do it is also in the second link where you increase their personal affection towards you and eventually get a princess to like you.

I'll caution on the first way that you need at least 3 hearts (IIRC) before you can get a princess to come with you during a siege.

If they're captured by another princess and don't like you, they may go to slave market. Although, I don't know what happens if Goblin Princess has a siege when she runs the slave market...

I don't know which version you're on, but generally the "Tea Party" quests have a positive effect on the relationships between Princesses.
I'd suggest you to save before it takes place though, things MAY go badly in some cases

Is there any thing that effects what reigns merchant princess visits? Cus i've been waiting for over an hour for her to show up at the slime kingdom for the slime salts quest and it just wont seem to happen.

Wow.
Just....wow!

This game is great!
After 4 hours of gameplay I still had no idea how to actually achieve anything but I wasn't bored for a minute.
In my second try I was better but still didn't see all that much appearently. At least not according to the posts.

Maybe you should consider putting up a chart or something that shows what actually is implemented at the moment. I recruted princesses to the party, just to find out that they don't have animations yet and stuff... Checking the entire change log could help I guess but since it isn't very structured it would also be quite confusing.

Also I found some bugs. I don't know if they're known or not but anyway:

When I defended the goblin town against the moths, the battle sometimes didn't end, even though all enemies were dead. I had no other choice but to reload. Since there are several consecutive battles, it took me about 15 tries to get lucky enough to get through.

At the campfire, I can't spend time with Insect Princess. When pressing YES nothing happens. Like the button doesn't work. This was before AND after the mole men.
I NEVER run against walls.

Well you can find her in the inn(place where you get all your quests) when she is at a certain place you can see a faded sprite on top of the town or inn.

Merchant Princess moves randomly, but often comes back to the Tavern.
v0.12.3 will have a cheat to decide which location she visits.

The NSFW animations in v0.12.3 are:
Kobold Princess x4
Slime Princess x3
Golem Princess x2
Dragon Princess II x2
Goblin Princess / Wolves x1
Human Princess x1
Dragon Princess I x1
Human Princess / Ghost Princess x1
Golem Princess / Knight Princess x1
Assassin Princess x1
[Goblin Princess II x2] <- Currently getting done
[Desert Princess x1] <- Next in the list

Then there's 1 SFW animation for each of the main Princesses (War declarations) and 1 SFW animation for Dog Princess' ending.
From June we started focusing on adding more animations for the main cast (Goblin Princess won last time and is getting her 2nd and 3rd animation this way)

So I came upon this a couple of days ago, and while I'm enjoying the game, there are a few things that were noticed that don't quite make sense to me (and if these concerns are addressed in the latest public release candidate, feel free to ignore).

1) Why is movement locked down in princess castles?

2) There's a locked door to go through in the Sphinx Pyramid that can be bypassed by using Kobold princess' jump skill. Is that intended? I inquire because I did so on accident, and then rescued the sphinx princess without her sprite being visible on the game map.

3) Some of the quests and unlocks require finding items, hidden in breakables (such as the first golem princess affinity quest), or merely collectable. However, the location of these items can be completely nebulous, as the game does furnish any sort of hint where one might go to find them. A basic framework of locations in quest descriptors would go a long way in making sense of this. For instance, you could say that kelp is typically found on the northern coast of the mainland, or malt near... wherever the heck malt is because I sure haven't found it.

4) Lamia dialogue is a little glitchy. Maybe it's just the version?

1)To have it work more like a menu, I guess. Having to move around has its pro and cons. There's plenty of places you can explore in the game though.

2)Nope, it's not intended to work like that ofc. Kobold could once jump through everything, now it's limited to locked doors. I'll have it work as intended soon.

3)Malt is South, near Goblin Princess. That quest was intended only to get the player familiar with the quest gathering -> delivering, for now those items have no other use. But I agree, fuck malt.
The Golem affinity quest says "go smash rocks around the Kingdom" and, in fact, there's plenty of rocks around the Kingdom.
There's at least 10 locations with breakable rocks and one of them is the tutorial zone.

4)Yea, at a certain point in time that room's word wrap broke completely. I have yet to steel myself and rewrite all of it, I tried several 'easier' solutions, without success!

Usually I don't leave comments on games and perfer to lurk, but seeing the seeming lack of reaction in the forum I wanted to post some feedback because this is a really interesting game. I think the main reason this seems so overlooked on the forum is most people see the VX Ace in the title and skip over it.

Personally, I find the best way of judging erotic games is to judge the game independant of the porn, and Towergirls Kingdom: Conquest in amazing as a stand alone game. It does a bunch of things with the RPG Maker engine I didn't even know were possible to create a sort of Mount and Blade-esk experiance where you run around all different kingdoms that seem willing to fight each other at any moment as an independant Knight who can influece the politics of the realm. I loved the idea when I first heard it and after playing for about 15 hours I've had a lot of fun playing it. From what I've seen there is a ton of replayability and I can easily see myself messing around in this game for over a month as I try to lead each Reign to victory.

I enjoy what I have seen of the lewd scenes, but I haven't seen enough of them to really judge them as a whole yet.

On to my recommendations for improvement, there is a lot of polish still left to do. I understand it's an early release and you're probably working on it already, but the biggest problem I encountered in the game was lack of information. I saw an early post were you mentioned it, but a lot of the quests frustrating to figure out without the Wiki, the Golem one in particular. I still can't figure out what rocks are breakable or even how to break them, much less even finding them. The other big lack of information is in the wars the Princessess end up fighting. I remember one of the first things that happened in my game was the Cat Princess and the Moth Princess went to war and when I went to see how their armies were doing they kept teleporting all over the place so I had no idea who was winning and didn't have the affinity to ask either of them. My intention was to try and stalemate the war while I tried to figure out how to get them agree to a peace treaty when out of nowhere the Cat Castle was beseiged and defeated even though they had more attack and defense. Thankfully with the Goblin slave market the Cat Princess wasn't lost to me, but I still really have no idea what happened in that war or what I could have done to stop it as it all happened in the first 4 days.

Something I would love to see is some way to reinstate dethroned Princesses, and maybe it's in the game and I haven't seen it, but I am a little sad I won't get to interact with the Cat reign this run. I guess that's something to look forward to in the next.

Another thing I noticed was the Desert Princess and Golem Princess seem really likely to go to war, but as far as I can tell have no way to reach each other. They have been at war for 4-5 days in my current game and no armies are on the map, and I'm betting it's because the Skeleton Princess is inbetween them but not active.

Lastly I'm curious if something like a Usurper run, where the player starts take cities, is planned, or if a genocide run is planned where the player tries to kill all of the Princesses. Both of those have overlap in that it would require the Kight to be able to attack cities though, and I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a priority or even considered at the moment since a lot of the Princessess still have yet to be implemeted and you started on the pregnancy system which I can only imagine is a headache and a half to create.

Overall I love the game, and as soon as I get a job I will be support it on patreon. Excellent work!

So am I getting this right: you cant get the princess in your party unless he reign is destroyed?

I won't comment all the wonderful compliments you did to me and my team, just thank you, it's good to read someone sees the same potential I see in my game.
As for your questions:
  • I don't know about the usurper run, I still have to decide the possibility of giving the Knight reigns to rule. It'd be erally complicated, so I'll probably end up doing it out of masochism, but for now there are other priorities.
  • The genocide run, instead, is something I had in mind, probably for an additional Dog Princess ending.

Thanks to you too. Yes, for now that's the only way, but we're preparing a new way to recruit a Princess.

If the both of you want an headache make sure you read this post (Mothers, Sons and Daughters), where I explain almost everything about how we're handling pregnancies and baby-making.

Having a heir take the place of the mother will be the new way to recruit a Princess.

Simple enough, you smash rocks and pray the RNG gods.
To smash rocks you need a mace (1 hit 1 kill) or fist-weapons (3 hits to break a rock) or the hit will bounce off!
