Hey guys, i'm currently working on a Action adventure game called Soulmancers, It was heavily inspired by gameplay from DoTA but each playable character will have its own unique playstyle and game mechanics. For example the current character (Scarlet) plays pretty much as a point and click action game with hotkeys set to Q,W,E,R,D,F but the upcoming Gunslinger will feature WASD movement, 1,2,3,4 as hotkeys and mouse for aiming the gun.

Rather than setting difficulty levels at the start of the game, I have built in adaptive Difficulty that increases depending on the amount of damage that the player deals to enemies in rapid succession. The theory is that the more damage you are able to deal while taking less damage means that you are more adept at the game. It definitely still needs tweaking as its very easy to max out the current difficulty. Each difficulty level grants bonuses such as cooldown reductions and damage Increase. now the damage is universal so the player as well as the enemy get a bonus % increase in their damage.

I would love if you guys could give it a try and let me know how it plays, if you like it/hate it, comments on the gameplay is encouraged as I plan to make the gameplay as crisp as possible.
