Firstly, I like the idea. And I do not think this kind of games is that much exploited.
Events in big cities are really good too.
However, I cannot see events related to loosing to the other army. Reasons are :
- I easily captured all the map. I just enrolled all units in all villages/cities, so that my final army contained 1400 to 1500 men. At this stage, it is absolutely not possible to loose I guess. Plus, the ennemy was not able to conquer anything (6 units left).
- I cannot load a new game : F2 just reload my previous game (same number of units, same number of patrols, and some villages returned to neutrality).
"Little big" grammar mistakes :
this village look - > looks
you manage to win -> managed (this is an accomplished event)
This is not my mother tongue, either ^^
The game is neat and stable. This is an encouraging and interesting begining
I am looking forward to seeing an update, with more contents, tanks, a more challenging difficulty, and a possibility to directly fight the other army.
Maybe implementing a determining stat during battles, related to troups exhaustion ?
What is the effect of taking ressources ?
BTW : the "unfinished draft project" in the topic title may be removed, it sounds quite negative.

The main reason why i've stopped to work on this game right now is the difficulty to improve a lot the gameplay.
I was planning a few things like :
- Reinforcement for player and for ennemy,
- Specific capture task for the few big cities,
- Ressources would have been used to create tank and to put trap on the map like minefield.
At first i used ressources to move the army (you need ressources to move, and if you don't have any soldiers become to die) but i wasn't satisfied with the result.
- Tanks would have attacked player or ennemy army going near the cities by shouting "bullets", making the game a little more challenging (you won't be able to get near a group of ennemy cities without taking a lot of damage)
- Some "mercenaries" faction that can work for player and ennemy with ability to negociate.
- For all the fights (and principally between armies) i wanted to add a little gameplay but i didn't find anything interesting enough. That's why there is no fight right now (but ennemy can still capture you if you have 0 soldiers).
I should had a "restart" button, you are right, there is no "simple" way to restart the game. I will try to post it this week as it is a really minor upgrade.
You can still try to be captured by affecting all your soldiers to a village.

For the title yes, it sound pretty negative, but also realistic. As i say, i'm not working on the game right now and i'm not the type of people who make false promise. I don't want people to expect a lot of update on it in the next month. But if i make some change and begin to work on it again i will release it here for sure.
