Possible bugs. The scroll stops working, so I can't get to the item listing in the combat menu and I don't know if it's listed or not listed. This is something that needs to working when fighting the slime queen.

Due to this bug, any opinions on this game would be unfavorable.

After getting to Nora, and entering the haunted house, I have these unfavorable comments.

Gerritt is too weak, I rather play another character like Mira, Lara or Frans.
The Clown, either make him weaker in the fight or make it so we don't get a game over every 2 minutes.

I'll stick with Shina for now.

so you are saying while in battle you cant use items. or does not scroll down all the way.
so I take it you have this bug in all battles. strange I was testing it scroll on keyboard works just fine for me all the way down.
does anyone else have this issue?

also slime queen ? I take it you are talking about the slime girl in the forrest.
she is not a queen. only slime queen I have is in alone amongst demons game.

yeah Gerrit is weak will first get even weaker after transformation.
but in the future will get stronger. Mika will be a more active party member later after transforamtion aswell.
however I will rework Gerrit male version so that he can handle himself better.



here is a small sample of my art hope you all like it.

The game has been good so far. But in the haunted house, the amount of objects that get thrown across the room needs to be toned down. I lost more health to this then from the actual monsters. I have been backtracking immensely in the haunted house trying to figure out how to make the hole in room 3 bigger and have had my knees shattered by a foot stool every other time I enter a room, as well as, every plate and cup. I have gone into the house with thirty potions and currently at about five. Mind you I have killed all of the slime girls and gotten potions from wisps. Can someone please help me on what to do after you enter room 3?

I've only played this once and currently trapped by another bug. I believe that room 3 has a book that mentions going to the right wing of the mansion and looking behind the curtains. Save when allowed and don't die in the blackout tunnels because it creates another bug (see separate post).

Another bug found when loading saved game in room with boulder. This bug keeps repeating the message to move the rock so you can sleep,

Edit: Restarting computer did nothing to solve this problem. Has something to do with loading a saved game after a game over.

As for the previous bug. After reloading the save game prior to fighting slime girl. More of the combat menu list disappeared. Mika keep getting only 3 menu choices. Her list started with special since i used it when i could.

Edit: Problem seems to be with the combat menu lists not appearing. I have scrolled down to the bottom and able to access the items even thought it didn't appear in the listing.

Currently using Windows 10.

Instead of changing Gerrit, how about some useful gear such as
A poison resistant shield with the wood sword at the start of the game.
A elemental resistant headgear. A departing gift from Lara

I use Gerrit as a item dispenser instead of a fighter because his party members are better than him. He spends most of his time healing himself or his party members. Except for Lara when he can be a fighter.

I played some more and I want to say the area before Nova, is good. It can use some polish, but if nothing else really change in that section I wouldn't hold it against you.

On the other hand, we need to talk about the Nova area. I agreed with rpgfan650, Gerrit only option is a leather bandanna at the shop. We could at least get an upgraded weapon for him. It seems to me that the haunted house seems be a later level. We do not have to party or the resources for a major backtracking dungeon where you can get hit multiple times out of battle and respawning enemies. At this point, I'm grinding wisp for potions right now, and I guess xp as a byproduct. I mean, we don't get many options because before this point, as the enemies are a finite resource. So our preparations are buy two bandanas, Frans weapon, and everything into potions. You may say the hornets outside the city respawn, but even if they did they don't drop enough to grind ten for a potion 117 for one level and another thirty for the other character's level, that's excessive. In some cases in my game, there is no book to tell me what to do, see my previous post, and now I need a key to the door behind the curtain with no clue on where to go, so I am stuck again. As of right now, I am under the impression that I need to start rubbing my face against walls Wolfenstein 3-D style to progress.

Stimulants, in my opinion, needs some rework. Right now, they are an out of battle item since the revived person only has one hp. It isn't very viable in battle because it is up to luck if the person lives for a potion to hit them to get them out of the Danger Zone. Usually if a person goes down in a somewhat difficult fight I F12 the game and get back to that point because I would be delaying the inevitable.

I am not trying to bash you or anything, it is my opinion that these are just oversights, as you haven't given the impression that this is suppose to be a knuckle breaking hard game. I understand the game is a work in progress. As you mention before, you are tweaking male Gerrit, which is good because right now he's just half as powerful as Frans and even though he is three levels higher. I think that is about it, I am still going to try and find this key so I can give you thorough thought on the Haunted House dungeon.

Did you break through a wall yet? The book or key might be there. if not, activate a rectangular object on some cracked walls.

If this isn't the answer I leave it for Gjbindels to answer. It be a few more days before I can restart the Nora area.

seems to me the builder bug has happend becouse you did not move with the builder to the end of the wall.
if you are still stuck there. try to hit the builder again than move back and forth as fast as you can.
to activate the builder is in place event.
I am going to rework the event in the next bug fix.

I will also rework the stimulants.

I will look into all the complaints you guys mentioned.
not that I will do all you are recomending. but might change things here and there.
but at the same time I do not wish to make it to easy..

Don't do that! I got through the hunted house by running away from monster, like the coward I am, and by crying like a little girl when I could not run...
It would be so unfair if you make him stronger

He is plenty strong. Just unequip one of mika's weapons and let him use it whenever she leaves the party. It gives offense and defense abilities and lets him equip another weapon for triple attack. If you do anything, bump up his health slightly but honestly its fine. Maybe make the bookshelf in room 3 a bit easier to notice. I was just mashing space on everything for testing purposes and found it pretty quickly but I didn't see anything indicating it could move. Same with the doorway behind the curtain. Also, please do something to show that the clown is borderline invincible. I fought him for SO long going through 40 something potions. Make him cast a spell that does 1k damage or something or have him heal for 1k hp each turn or something so the player knows they aren't supposed to fight him. His damage is so low that he seems beatable when you are really just wasting your time.

I think ideally potions would be less needed. Perhaps give gerrit an ability to heal a small amount or something (like first aid or whatever) that costs TP. Right now the best strat is just buy 40+ potions and heal all the time. Each sahugan (or however its spelt) gives like 20 potions worth of money and can be killed by mika in a single triple attack. The art style change from the first character faces to their transformed faces is very jarring. I don't know if you are planning on changing it or something but right now its very strange looking. The grammar and spelling is all over the place but the content of the dialogue seems fine so it just needs to be proof read and perhaps better formatted in some of the text boxes (which I know first hand is a pain with RPG maker). The formatting seemed to get better as the game progresses so perhaps just go revisit the earlier sections.

With all that out of the way, this game is AWESOME. The haunted house was actually a very well crafted and scary place. The tension really gets to you after you have been in there 1+ hours. The enemies in there were mostly pretty good (the rats are perhaps a bit too weak but I had triple attack on gerrit so maybe that was part of it). The clown is scary and just knowing afterwards that he is out there coming for you makes exploring the world a scary prospect. Is it actually possible to beat him btw or does he have the immortal tag? I feel like I did about 10-15k damage to him before running out of everything. The rooms behind the fireplaces was a cool touch. It makes me wonder how many secrets I may have missed. The town too is very nice although its a shame you can't go in many buildings yet. Level design in general is good. O btw, you can't walk directly under the blue pillars in the area after you fall down a shaft while being chased by the clown. Theres a chest that I couldn't get that I think is because of that. Even if theres some other way I'm supposed to get the chest, it doesn't feel good getting stopped by the air beneath the pillars.

I was amazed by just how big everything was in this game. All the areas and dungeons are HUGE and mostly aren't just empty space. The haunted house felt like an area out of a normal commercial RPG aside from the sex parts. I haven't finished what you have yet but its awesome. I really hope the game doesn't end up behind some kind of paywall like a lot of the other newer projects here seem to be doing.

It's a really big game with a few hours of game-play (6+ hours... when you know where to go and what to do) and it's simply awesome! It was just recently completed. So I'm pretty sure that Gjbindels will also see this game to completion.

true Alone Amongst Demons was one of the first games I made.
I wanted to post a download link of that game here aswell.
but after reading the forum rules I realised I could not do that.
the game has art ripped from other games that I can not post it here.
but it is a good game even if I say so my self.

as for my plans for right now.
I am planning on doing a replay of my game.
to fix up some of the spelling erors in the game.
but dont expect me to remove all spelling errors becouse that is not possible for me.

There is no problem with that event when I saved the game before moving the boulder.

Sorry about the Gerrit complaints. It just seems he is lacking something that extra equipment might solve.

Overall the game is good, I hope it has a long life.

I just played this yesterday. I was quite pleased with the game over all. At times the game felt hard but not insurmountable. I kind of enjoyed that the MC felt weak compared to every other character for a long time. It to me said this is a character that despite weakness and being outclassed by everyone else is willing to work his hardest and put it all on the line for his beliefs. I like that. The game's tone in pretty good. Focused on gameplay and story rather the beign naughty. I would say it is rather PG-13 for the most part. I am curious if it will remain that way.

My only complaints are that some of the maps seem huge and empty especially the starting city. My other complaint is often you are told to go someplace like you are supposed to know where it is. some more precise directions other then "go here" might be in order Perhaps put the location in the quest description just in case you get distracted by a sidequest and have a gold fish memory like I do. Also it seems at a certain point the game's font size gets a bit crazy jumping from really large to really tiny. I am not sure if there is a cause to it and it is far from game breaking but it could be something to look into.

Things I would like to see but do not fully expect.: Futa, It is a kink of mine and many and it would make sense in a world where woman often see men as lesser beings that some would try and take men out of the equation entirely even for breeding purposes. I could totally see water priestesses trying to maintain "purity" by removing the taint of men from their bloodline. Also I just think Mika would be hot as one. Get it she would be hot because she is bonded with a fire.. you know what never mind.

Lactation: Just another kink and I think it would be something a water bonded person with huge jugs might have to worry about. just think of them giving healing milk. Got to use those Tig ol Bitties for something besides showing off.

Moral degradation: Ok a am a big fan of a certain other game we find on this site. I like the idea of the MC getting use to his new form then though player choices having the possibility to become more lustful and naughty. Dressing in more revealing cloths maybe even converting their underwear into something more risque. I honestly don't see this as something the MC would do willingly though so would not expect it too much through normal game play. A case could be made for it being the influence of her underwear. It is established that T-undies can impart some of their skill to their owners and we all know the sort of man Frans was.

However you progress with the game I am good with. It is fun and entertaining and I look forward to seeing where you chose to go. It is your game make it how you want. We thank you for your efforts and hard work.

intresting Ideas. and I have some of them planned already. in some way or an other.
as for the frond size jumping sometimes a bit.
that was done on purpuse. rpgmaker can be a real pain when writing text. and jumps of the line rather fast.
even if you try to stay between the arrows of the text boxes.
I do have a text warp perventing text to be cut off. but it creates really strange new lines.
witch makes it hard to read. so a simple action is to shrink the text down at some points.
I try to do this as little as posible. but sometimes I have no choise.


As for the main character I did rebalance him a little.
and made some of the encounters a bit easyer.

things I changed about the male version for the next bug fix I am planning =
Gerrit has better paralized recictance that is all changes I made to gerrit himself.

things I changed to make things a bit easer.
revival potions now heal for 200 hp when you are resuracted.
I removed one of the ghosts in the battle encounter on the second floor.
so now instead of facing 2 ghosts at the same time you only face one.

there are some other changes that I will make aswell.
like the potion stand. I will make it stand out a bit more. and make sure you can interact from the front
but I will block the back side.

The last change I will make for the next bugfix. I already told you all.
I will try to fix some of the spelling.
if you know any words I spell wrong often and are anoying please tell me.
worlds I already know of are sign. and notting. and becouse.
should be Sigh nothing because. if there are any other worlds I miss spell a lot.
please let me know.

do you guys think I should change the face sprite maybe make them a bit larger.
or keep them the way they are.

I believe the determining factor is how much detail is in the face sprite.

New Bug Fix update now live.
fixes some of the spelling mistakes I made in game
and rebalances some parts of the haunted mansion

also replaced main character female Face sprites.
let me know what you think.

and made the potions vendor more noticble.
