Hi! Just tried the game and it kept me 5hrs straight glued to the screen. I got lost however, trying to find out where to go after being asked to go east to chase after duke ferdinand. But everytime i head east i end up left with no other way except but to go into the sewer. I tried finding guides so would appreciate some help

This is because that's where the current public version ends. The new one will be released later today and it will have the Main Quest continuation.

wanted to give it a try but even after downloading it for the third time win-rar is unable to open it and keeps telling me that the file is ether a unknown format or damaged

Version 8.1 (pub release) unpacks fine for me. Win 7, WinRAR util used.

I was just so used to Win-rar being free and working i totaly blanked out on the fact that there might be a new version (was still on v 4.2 )

Here's the explanation I sent via email to another person with the same doubt:

Okay, let make you a quick break-down:

This is a competition between Asus and Leia, so each one has three action with a different intensity each. One low, one medium and one high. The higher the intensity the more is added to the overall amount. Asus' actions increase the ammount of magic, so all the actions you choose are a +. Leia's actions decrease the amount, so every action the game decides is a -. Your objective is prevent Leia from taking the amount to 0 with her actions while also trying not to add to much as to go past a set max limit. You don't need to be in the exact max limit to win the game, but in any range between it and the actual winning limit.

There are four status stages:

"The magic is very weak. It could break at any instant."
"The magic seems normal, but not strogn enough."
"The magic seems strong, but not firmly planted."
"The magic seems very strong, you should be careful to not overload it."

Tha messages are in order of proximity to the winning max from farthest to closest. You have to use them in combinantion with your previous action and Leia's action to make a guess of which action you should take to get past the winning max without going paxt the overall max.

This is the breakdown for the quest, if you find yourself still not going past it try to ignore the quest for now as I'll take a look at it's workin to see if there's too much dependance on luck.

So, how do I find the magic academy, because I've pretty much looked everywhere on that city before the fort mission, I'm out of ideas =p

As of right now the magic academy hasnt been re-added to the game. Its mission is going through a revamp and right now devleopment is focusing on re-doing some old content with lacking quality, catching up with the CG and after that completting the main quests. Side Quest areas should be added after that if there's still space for them.
