The idea sounds great I think that this game will really get going and be good. Currently your demo shows good progress and a good game idea. If you were to continue and advance this game it may become really something.

Well, to inform you in regards to an update, I sent off the first floor of the map to FAPCOM a few days ago. I haven't had a reply yet, so we'll wait and see.

I'm also trying to reduce the amount of resources the game uses by making more load externally. That is a very long task.

I can't really give you an ETA, but I would've thought by now, you guys would have got used to the "it's done when it's done" attitude that's been appearing recently. Especially since I'm working now.

I have a real person job, and I got into honors. The only time I am on is after 5~7 to about 10-11. Which means it would be whee early across the pond =P.

When i open up the game, all i get is two zombies and the character on a black platform that i can walk off of, which will end up killing me. Is this supposed to happen?

That's just a test room...the real gameplay is in mercenaries mode

I'm assuming you're replying to me, and what i meant is that is ALL there is. I have nothing else. I hit "Start Game" and then i Choose my difficulty, and it drops me into that.

Scroll over to Extras, hit Z, go down to Mercenaries, and there you go. New game is a test area with exactly what you said there.

Apparently i downloaded the wrong thing or SOMETHING, because i'm not seeing that. The game's main menu loads up, it says "Hit Z" and then "New Game" and then i choose a difficulty and it drops me into the area with two zombies on a black platform. The end. There isn't anything else.

You can scroll left and right on the screen that says New Game. One of the options will be Extras, that is the one you want. I believe the others are Load Game, Options, and Exit Game.

I mostly ask just to make sure you and fapcom are still live and breathing :) Plus, its always nice to know how things are progressing (even if they are progressing slowly)

No...use the right or left arrow keys...and cycle over to extras. Then hit z, and then go to mercenaries.

Now try it.

Wow, time sure flies. Been a month since the last thingie here on the thread. Even Garland from FF was here to check on progress.
Last post on the blog is...from the 9th of this month. This is getting really cold. Here's hoping for a status check soon.

I really hope this isn't dead.

Oh, and I had an interesting question/thought. Any chance of possibly having Aya Brea make a cameo in Mercenaries mode?

I believe this isn't dead, things are moving slower since classes are starting up again, but I don't think this' dead, just on hiatus until further notice

I dunno WTF is going on with this game.

I doens't want to turn off, it eats 500-700 MB's of memory and there's practicly nothing in it. Several zombies...that's it...

nice really wanna see the finished game it looks great! but controles(like always in resident evil :D) are so bad could you make maybe instead of z,v because by me y and z are changed so its pretty worse for me and other guys who know what i mean

Firstly, the game is still a work in progress, and the reason there's only a few zombies is because you went to new game rather than mercenaries.

As for the memory thing, its due to a memory leak that they didn't know about. If you try to play the game more than two times in a row, it had a tendency to really start slowing your comp to a crawl.
