It'll happen, but I you'll get a heads up when the beta gets released on Patreon. At that point, it'll be a few days before I release it publicly. So, no need to go crazy checking the forums.

Also, sorry for the delay in posting any updates. I just did not have much to report other than I'm working on this whenever I can. Remember, I have not gone full time yet, and I only have 2 days a week, plus whatever I can scrounge up at night to work on this. I've been working on the game until 3am the last three nights trying to get these drawings done. It just takes time, and games like Witcher 3 and Dying Light don't help much :D . Many days after working my normal job, I just want to relax and game for a bit, meaning not much gets done on the game.

But again, it'll happen. And when it becomes my full time job, it'll happen much faster.

@ElPresidente: There will be lesbian scenes, but there will not be futa.

Will the game have any black or dark skin characters? Maybe a southern village or an island.

Yes, there will be dark skinned characters. Escala is a desert town (really the only area that a "free" city could be established, since no kingdom cared about the land). I know, bit of a trope, but it kind of just fell in place that way. That said, dark skinned characters will not be the simple stereotypical characters that I often see in other games. There are no dark skinned characters in chapter 1 though.

God,how good you are in the business! I hope that you will succeed and look forward to this game more than waiting for the Witcher 3! :D good luck,more time and energy to delight us with their vision of good games! and forgive my English,it leaves much to be desired. :oops:

In the words of YT, the most recent status update is...

"I need to put the events on the new maps. I have all the scripts written, just need to put them in RPG Maker and load the correct portraits, etc. I'll be doing that over the next few days. I'll also play through the entire game during this and fix/edit anything I feel needs a bit more love.

After that, I'm going to finalize the Enemy AI script, which I've already loaded and learned. I need to make sure the "H" attacks are working as intended and loading the right pictures.

Once that is done, then, all that will be left is a few CGs (which are already sketched).

I'll be posting on my Patreon today or tomorrow to say all this, and that maps are done. I'll make another post this coming weekend to hopefully say eventing is done. At that point, I'll give a release date."

So, Chapter One is impending at T minus pretty soon and counting.

I'm really antsy about this incredibly well done game coming to fruition. YT has quite a load of work ahead but the support is out there preventing a game of such high caliber from fizzling out. Best of luck to ya YT and keep up the hard work.

Thanks for keeping people informed Pseudo. I've been kind of terrible about posting. What Pseudolurker said was correct. Currently, I have the chapter 1 enemies and maps done. I am working on putting the events in the new maps and tweaking enemy AI stuff. The AI script I thought I was going to use ended up not working, but I have a new one that I think will work fine. After I get the events and AI done, it will just be down to CGs and maybe tweaking sounds. I should be able to give a realistic release date at that point. I'll actually keep you guys posted, as it should be soon.

Well, given that other forums where you've posted about the game are over 15 pages deep by now, it's an understandable oversight. :lol:

As a general FYI for folks, from the most recent Patreon post, it looks like a July release will not be happening. But on the bright side, the underlying system mechanics are finally almost wrapped up, which leaves just some eventing and CGs, and the beta testing period.

As an additional plus, courtesy of the system mechanics being worked in detail, it's possible (not guaranteed, but possible) that Chapter 1 saves will not break for future chapter releases. :D

That'd be pretty amazing if future patches could still use the same saves. You never see that in any of these really. I'd love that if so.

But man. It's gonna be 6 months since the expected target soon. My expectation levels are high.

I'd love it too, but I just hit a huge snag in that idea yesterday. I'm emailing the author of the script to see if anything can be done :cry:

As for your expectations, you should temper them. Remember, this is a game built by a single person who is not a programmer by trade. Meaning, I'm doing my best to create a great game, but a lot of the reason it has taken so long is due to my ignorance and needing to learn stuff. So, you won't see all that work when you play the game. I will say this, it should be relatively bug free, I've tested the shit out of these scripts.

I'll probably ultimately regret saying this, but if you are a Patreon, yes, you'd probably be safe to assume you'll get chapter 1 towards the end of this month. Public release will come about 3-5 days later so I can take my patrons' feedback, make fixes and polish things before I send it off into the world of the Internet.

Worst case scenario, meaning things just fall apart, I don't see how this would extend past the end of September. I'm in the the process of finalizing everything at this point.

Even if it comes out next year I'd still gladly play it. Look at the LOQO prequel, I'm still very much looking forward to that too, there are so many good games to play in the mean time while we wait for you to polish your cheeky stored game.

Hello everyone! I've updated the first post with a better description of the game, and linked to the final prologue demo. I want to stress that it is essentially the SAME prologue that you've already played. It just has the working battle system now, improved message busts, and better editing of the dialogue. I'm not sure it warrants another playthrough unless you really want to see the battle system. The prologue has NO battle hentai content though, that comes in chapter 1.
