So the loading bar would be a place holder. Put it any where you have space and is easy to add.

Has the megaupload link been updated to the new version yet?
I have been warned, but for a reason I can't understand.

Phew, here comes another wave of responses!

@Pen

I didn't want to make it a competition either, but I've put up a poll to see what the majority prefer.

@catgirl

I'll pm you again.

@FruitSmoothie & BlueLight

Reloading system is done, inventory improved :) I have implemented the reloading into the HUD, so it doesn't look out of place. Tell me what you think!

@DumbStranger

Both links are always updated to the newer version, which is currently 28th June.

Progress:

- Implemented Pen's zombie sprite into the game, it all scales up well, zombies are a little taller than Reb, but Reb isn't the tallest person.
- Added Reloading bar, and included it into the main HUD. Also shows how much ammo you have (Ammo In Clip/Ammo in Inventory)
- Inventory screen now fully pauses game, however to combat cheating, I have removed the ability to combine ammo with gun to reload.

Oh and I need some feedback on the size of the leeches. Too large? Too small? Too perfect?

I loves me some Sheva. But what can I say??? I like 'em dark, lol. I also like her strong will, makes me wanna dominate her ass with a Hunter or something. Plus, Sheva is equipped with the best ballistics, in my opinion. Anyways, can we get a demo of ur animation skills??? I am very interested.

UPDATE (2nd July 2011, see bottom of original post for details)

Also, if you haven't already, VOTE IN THIS POLL! http://legendofkrystal.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1417

And here's that special time again when I answer your questions!

@Ryuzakku

You have received this error because you have not kept the "Sound" folder with the game. The Sound folder has to be in the same folder as the .exe.

@muigordoz

Thank you, we hope to be moving onto animation soon, I'm sure you're all wanting to see the new graphics as much as I am!

@Crossbow1701

I have updated the controls in the first post, but you were able to go through doors using the Z key. Crouch will be implemented as the new animations come in. I'm going to upload a poll when the time comes to ask what you guys want, since I'm debating a couple of ideas.

@BlueLight

"METAL GEAR?!" (/snake impression) ... and for your fourth wall question, what kind of breaking it are you talking about? Rebecca saying to the player "You should really get my clothes repaired" or more like you actually screwing Rebecca?

@Nan

(Post #1)

For the main game, only Rebecca is going to be playable, since she's the only one that would fit in the storyline (as stated, I'm trying to keep it with the RE timeline.) However, favourite characters are going to be added into the Mercenaries. Unfortunately for you, people voted Ashley over Sheva, so Sheva will not be included in the game, unless Thaedael decides to do more work than I have asked him for.

(Post #2)

I'll have to see. Later I may add a zoom feature, as I'm not particularly happy with the current zoom in sex scenes. I may add a zoom to the entire game, however I'll have to see how that affects the HUD. I'll keep you posted on that one.

@Catgirl64 & ANoob

I actually would've picked Sheva over Ashley. However I think it's unfair to vote on my own polls. Although I can't say whenever I see Sheva I want to dominate her ass with a Hunter.

Oh, and Catgirl has gone away for a couple of days, will be back Sunday. I'll let you know where we're at with animation through PMs.

Hope you all enjoy the new update, and remember to keep requesting what you want to see in the game, I'm a good listener! (but please, no "GIVE ME JILL!" or "REB NEEDS BIG BOOBS!")

UPDATE (3rd July 2011, see bottom of original post for details)

This is an EMERGENCY BUG FIX! Somehow I let a rather large bug slip through my fingers. This new version also includes new "blood" particles.

Okay, I'm thinking about the pen sprites versus anoob's sprites, and I realized what my gripe was concerning pen's sprites was: they have too high of contrast. Considering the situation (and this applies to rooiehan's background as well), I believe a sepia filter or some dark grey filter. I believe bright, contrasting colors don't fit in a dystopian zombie apocalypse.

Or just kicking down the saturation will help. Only I dunno if the filter saves in .png. That, i'll have to try. I'm definitely liking Pen's sprites, though. Hope she can build on in the same style as Thad's Becca. As for Rooihan, Build with Thad's Rebecca in mind. Observe everything like line thickness, color, how many shades of a color for the fill (3 in this case), and amount of detail per object. Note the small detail on small things. I have the curse of over detailing small things (like faces or boobs) so they look good, but end up too big. Make sure your outlines aren't black and actually have a darker version of their main color. Any help or assistance I can provide can come with a simple pm, if you have qustions and stuff. I'd go straight to Thad or Pen, as they are pretty much in art direction, now. On the plus, your perspective is really good. ;)

@Crossbow1701

Yeah that's about it for the game, you can play the Mercenaries if you feel like random zombie killing though!

@rooiehaan

I'd have to agree with ANoob and Zeus on this one. I agree that the background and maybe the sprites to some extent could use some saturation/brightness lowering, to give it more of a gritty horror look. However, I understand you did just say "a basic background" and at least you have the basics of it looking very good, plus I noticed you got it done in less than a day! But as ANoob said, don't be afraid to talk to Thaedael or Pen, I'm sure they won't mind giving tips and stuff. And the perspective is very good!

Once again, thanks for your interest in this project,

Z-Fied

P.S. Truly sorry for that bug that was in the 2nd July version. I have remedied it in the 3rd July version though!

Progress:

Completed the new "blood" particle. Character and zombies bleed when hit. Character now "bleeds out" when killed through normal attacks. Only bleeds out a maximum of 2 times (It's not as if Reb has an unlimited amount of blood in her system)

Need some feedback on the current features to make sure they're how you guys want them.
