Well, I've tried the light side of things. Need to go run the dark side, darn my completionist tendencies. I do want to see how you get any of the co-operation dark-side, that you earn by being noble light side.
I'm sort of surprised you don't get an option like you do with Alena with some of the other ladies, or at least try to warn them off - mainly thinking of Melony and Ulya, given what it will cost the former, and the potential threat to her honor with the latter. I doubt either would be dissuaded, but it seems like the "good" thing to do, given what you will cost them when they get enslaved.

Do you want bug reports here for things like spelling and grammar errors?

When I get to the city that is (presumably) being attacked, it says It can't find the audio file of fire. I am trying to fix this problem myself, but you're putting me through a lot of work for porn.

Edit: Managed to make a file to replace the missing one, but you should still look into that.

You know, ker could just say "Fuck off" and take down all direct and indirect download links for the game, but he chooses not to. Be thankful this is not pay-to-play as he IS looking for donations at the moment.

I am also sure that he is grateful for bug reports, but I can bet my two cents that ker won't take the tone of the bug report happily. There is a difference between submitting the bug report and implying that the game is only for porn right before demanding for a bug to be fixed.

I have worked as a salesman before and people who usually talked in that tone were people whom don't give a shit about you or the company, the universe is centred around them. You tell them "You want it at a lower price, how do you think I am supposed to pay my bills; they do not just drop off the product and say 'Here sell it'." Then they proceed to say "That's your problem" and they laugh at your face! I usually do a follow-up "The Company has to pay rent too; otherwise, how the hell do you believe that we can service you after the company goes bankrupt?" (I can usually get away with that, because at that point, they become more of a nuisance than a customer). People like that piss me off right from the start from the time I had to spend with assholes. The previous poster sounded more like such an asshole and my brain just cliked with connotations.

This is NOT to say that they are one.

Although in this case it's most likely an issue with the RTP not installing properly on the client's end.

It's an RTP download issue. I have no custom audio tracks called 'fire' of any variant. So the RTP you downloaded either didn't contain that audio track or when it tried to install it derped. Uninstall, redownload and reinstall the RTP and that should clear it up.

I am unaware of ANY hard crashes in 0.6a.3. If you find one, it's almost certainly a download corruption which is well out of my control (or something scewy with your computer and/or AV program). Redownload the RTP and/or Harem itself to clear it.

And technically I'm not looking for donations atm as I've yet to found any way to actually receive them. After 0.6b enters testing (which will happen later) there's a few software stores that I might try using as an alternative to donations.

Sorry you bumped into an issue. I'd definitely put more myself into the 'hedge-wizard' class of programming than a professional. But if you ever bump into an issue in a stable release (which 0.6a.3 is) that you just have to ask yourself 'How did this get released?' the first thing you should check is a corrupted download.

Could you do something like the way the Breeder game in the flash section (sorry I'm chronically bad at names) did it, with votes and the like costing money?
You don't need to heed them.^^ Or just put stuff up you plan anyways, and let people have a say in what they think is important.

I downloaded the game from rapidgator, and then the RTP. Does this cause the game to still have the .dll issues? Because I am still having them. I just wanted to let you know this. I'm going to re-download Harem in a moment and see if that changes anything.

Generally, .dll problems are issues with the RPGMaker download, not the game itself. You did get both havles, right? and you got the right version? VX, not VVX Ace?

I know it's a bit futile to ask this when obviously nothing has been posted in a month, I'm just in the uncomfortable position of having lost a harddrive (That I think about these saves as one of the first things probably says something about me , but let's not dwell on that ) and I figured it's a good excuse to ask. When if not now?
