I got that old 'sound does not exist' error after doing Mercenaries, though it didn't happen until sometime during the opening logos

Y'know, frankly and honestly, if you tell me it's just my skill level that's too low, I suppose I'll believe you.

BUT...

I actually think the zombie spawn rate in mercs might be too low. I can't get a high enough combo or enough kills to score more than a D.

And there'll very often be like 6 of them hanging around chilling OUTSIDE OF THE WALKING AREA so you can either wait for them to meander in - and lose your combo - or kill them there and then - and not get to pick up the ammo.

*shrugz*

EDIT:

So like, then I go and get a B.

I guess it's more important to kill the zombies (even if they're outside of the walking area and you can't get their ammo) than to wait for 'em to come inside.

Of course, that makes it FAR MORE luck based than it has to be, as to whether you run out of ammo or not, so I'mma still register a complaint about that, at least.
So yeah. How it stands now, as far as I know is:
No complaint about the spawn rate after all, it's ALL about those items you can't get to.

FINAL EDIT:

Yeah, the difference between my SSS and my D is literally nothing more than pure luck as it stands right now.

Is there a sort of "free play" mode where we can run around and fuck zombies without having limits (health)?

Awesome game so far, just found it today... the boss is a bit frustrating. Jumping doesn't let you avoid damage with him, managed to make it to him a few times without any damage and most of my ammo, had to use all of my healing items. After I beat him, ran into zombie on the other side of a door and died *sad face*. Is it possible to use the "special"? (downloaded a bunch of older versions, it's been there for a while, but I can not figure out how to use it).

I'm not trying to be mean but honestly, if i saw a boss running at me and aiming for my face i would either A.) Jump the fuck outta the way or B.) Duck! and i think most people should think the same for things, it might be eazyer to think like that if your not horny as balls IDK

Guy passes straight through you with no real indication that he's non-material. Really he should just pick you up with a knee or bodyslam or a "Yo I crashed into you with my entire body" on the way past.
Also sometimes he doesn't raise his hand.

It's not that we're stupid, catgirl.

Nor is it that we're too horny to think.

It's that the idea of "ducking directly in his path, exactly where he is going", to somehow completely avoid a large man-creature running into you is not obvious.

He said that you can dodge CERTAN enimes! if your consistantly dodgeing a bosses attacks its no fun sure you can dodge things but not ALL attacks! keep that in mind people!

Actually, this has to be a bug. I cut the second zombie in the "wounded civilian" room over 100 times, and then it took the same 6 bullets as always to kill.

It's not "Yo, are you sure that's supposed to be right, bro?"

It's "No, something's wrong."

All joking aside, you do have a tendency to take things critical at times, But you've kept it on the level since my voice acting comment, so I don't mind.

@Lucky777 (4:15, Oct. 6th): Honestly, if i saw the boss doing that 9aiming for my head and lunging like that), i'd be going for a leg takedown; no grabbing or anything, just a roll/rolling kick to knock him on his ass.

I have to agree. Seems to turn into a flame war after Catgirl replies. Seems to be no objectivity. Perhaps harsh but it's not helpful.

She seems extremely sensitive - oversensitive to voice acting criticism, possibly - and overly volatile sometimes, but I honestly think she's been pretty reasonable ever since that whole voice acting thing blew over.

Has this suddenly become the "Resident judging Catgirl" thread? : O
