Delays happen

I mean, in the end We have no idea how new content and strings/triggers are gonna interact with the older stuff

so even if it all seems to check out... BOOM something simple has broken the entire damn game.

Having beta-tested stuff before and telling them *hey, X happen*, I KNOW things crop up. I told a dev about a game-crashing bug, and it took two weeks for him to find it (old stuff clashed with new stuff, and it took awhile to get that worked out) so I don't mind delays!

I agree with you that delays are alright in most cases, the devs do need the extra time to polish the game and make sure everything works and I can appreciate that.
I just don't like when most devs just cut off the communication and don't say anything. Stick is an example of a good dev in my books as he gives a status update either here or on his blog but I have run into devs that I would support, be it monetarily or just by being a bug finder, whom would announce a definite release date for an update, then its a week later and nothing, then another and nothing and then on the third it's just like "oh hey i was away on business and also didn't have internet but it will surely be out by such and such a date"(just using the most recent one I have run into, not throwing shit that guys way) and then it's another 3 weeks and nothing and I just give up hope at that point. Fun fact, if you guys know who I am talking about, there is still people supporting him and he is doing nothing, still hasn't resurfaced and it has been about 6 months now.

Well this is the second time or third time hes done this so I think we are on about the same guy. His most recent is 6 months and his oldest disappearance I know of was 2 years.

Yo.. has anyone heard from stick? I'm curious since its been like 2 weeks since he posted on here and although the date on the latest blog post says 13th sept, there are comments from 2nd of sept which leads me to believe he just updated them minorly.
