Update for June.
I've decided to go with a Ryzen 1600x cpu, a gtx 1080ti and 32gb of ram for my workstation; I'll have to wait another 2 months but it'll be worth it. The full build is posted on the main post and a video log will be added once it's done.
For the meantime I've been playing around with AGF Pro, Unity, Blender, Gimp, and Fuse. I may be getting rid of Fuse. While it works well enough, it has been a very naughty program and doesn't play well with Unity or Blender. AGF Pro is great for creating levels and cells quickly, but I don't know how to merge them for open world design. For dungeons, caves, buildings, and closed areas AGF works great. I'm still figuring out how to port content from AGF Pro to Unity, once I do things won't be so limited.
Now is a good time to hop onto the project. If you're interested, please message me through the forums and add me as a friend. Currently there is no dedicated team, there are a few interested. Members of the team are volunteers who will be recognized for their work and may be compensated later through funding on patreon. If the project pulls enough funds, a donation to a school, library, or charity may be possible. The project still needs coders, modelers, writers, and sound effects producers.
The game will be free. The most recent builds will be available first to donors, and second to the public. The goal of this project is to create a free, modable game with as much open sourced content as possible.
The plan for lewd content is to be introduced as mods. As of now I will not be able to work on anything lewd due to work policy limitations. Until there's a person or team in charge of lewd mods or dlc it will be up to the community to produce them. As for any other mods, anyone can create them.
