Of course, still consensual and per the rules of the academy, any random person would still have to stop if you gave the safeword (which would be put on the sign so they know, obviously). Or, y'know, scenes like something like that.
I know, I'm weird, sorry. xD
That isn't that weird

Well, damn. Wish I'd notice your post before I released version 1.4 earlier today (for Patrons). It should be a simple fix and I'll make sure to fix it for the public release version of 1.4. Thank you for pointing it out, I try to make sure every option is tested, but apparently I missed this one.
WonderGamer Wrote:Norton picked up SONAR.Heuristic.158 when I attempted to run this for the first time. I understand heuristics scans can be wrong sometimes (based on virus-like activity)...especially when it comes to Norton, but I think I'm going to hold off on running this until I get a response on it...
EDIT: Did another scan through Trendmicro Housecall, this one came up clean, but Norton was going haywire while trying to scan it (with this other scanner). Going to exclude the game folder from Norton auto-protection & block internet traffic on the game (through my firewall) for the time being & track what it's doing using my process monitor to be on the safe side, I'll post those logs publicly if I find it is doing something suspicious...
EDIT: The game is definately doing something odd, it immediately attempted to access Norton's definition files, so I'm not surprised Norton started freaking out. I can do a system restore if I think it infected my system somehow, so that part didn't really concern me. What does concern me is all these odd files it wrote to C:\USERS\*\APPDATA\LOCAL\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES\LOW\CONTENT.IE5\*. I can easily clear my temporary internet files & they're gone, but what they heck was it writing in there??? The filenames of the files it was writing was enough to cause concern...
EDIT: Wiped the entire CONTENT.IE5 folder... Interesting how those folders were hidden when I tried to find them, I had to force them by manually entering the directory name. Still couldn't see the files it had written in Windows Explorer, so just wiped the entire directory. I hate to say it, but I think having Norton in aggressive heuristics mode may have just saved me some problems; there's some logs in there that I could have used without having to use the process monitor also, but they're not as detailed...
O.O what the hell? I build the game distributions directly with the Ren'py engine. Literally the only two files I change are the script file and gui files, both purely to add the game programming. Other than that, the only files that aren't standard Ren'py are the image files, were are just a bunch of PNG images. I have no clue what the hell happened to your system, but it wasn't anything I did. Either it's something that the Ren'py engine is doing, or you have a virus unrelated to the game. Unless you got the download from somewhere other then my Mega link. It's possible that any other site might have added something to it. If you have concerns, I leave ALL of the game files 'open source' in the distributions I release, feel free to look through them and try to figure out if ren'py is somehow accessing something it shouldn't.

Let me clarify this. I found and did the dating sim portion just fine. What I didn't get from the game was that the dating sim portion was supposed to be THE mechanic. I didn't feel like anything in the intro or the game itself really indicated that "the dating sim portion is the thing you need to do to win the game." In fact, since the dating sim portion really wasn't highlighted during the intro, I actually got the feeling that it was less important than the 4 main activities in the school and their related mechanics. It was only due to your earlier descriptions in this thread that I realized that it was supposed to be the most important.
Hmmmm. I admit I hadn't considered that. Thank you very much for clarifying. I'm not entirely sure how to address this issue currently, but I'll keep thinking on it!
