In order to get the red serum you need to first get the online notes from Nora by talking to her about how you can better understand what they're working on, then checking your PC. After that you need to visit the Lab in the morning when Stephanie is there by herself, do a little event where she asks you about missing ingredients and get her to take a blue serum, then convince her to help you out when you ask her to. She'll agree and then, if you have enough blue serums and you get the extra ingredients from the store on the weekend, she'll help you make red serums.

You can check Resistance by clicking the Info tab on the upper right corner, then clicking on each individual woman's name in the menu that pops up.


I did the online notes from Nora, checked the PC, then talked to Steph for more research and did the mini-event with Steph making her my assistant and that gets me purple serum, do I need to skip getting notes from Steph for the red serum? That does not make sense an the red is more potent then the purple. The purple serum takes 3 blue and 1 supplies, are you sure about that for the red?

The formula for the red serum isn't obtained through Nora directly. Try exploring the lab by sneaking in either early or late with the door code and you should have better luck.

Ah, so it's a random event, I've tried that in the morning and night and gotten the message that I don't find anything, but maybe I should look when I know what I'm looking for, or something along those lines.

v0.5.1 is out and available for everyone! This update adds 10 endings to the game, two for each girl. The endings are independent, so you can get them one at a time, or try and get them all in a single play through.

hey i love the game and enjoy replaying it on every new version, but the serum resistance scales too fast and in the end i can't get enough score with any of them, besides that the random night encounters are very unlikely to happen, can't you increase the probability with bigger seduction/corruption values?

Yeah. It's nice the events are finally repeatable but the serum resistance is off the charts nuts, and drains down at a ridiculously slow rate.

This isn't Dark Souls man. It's a porn game. Stop trying to make the porn difficult to access. lol. It's not even difficult so much as it is time consuming for the sake of consuming time.

Hope none of that came across as harsh cuz I genuinely dig the game and think you've done rock solid work overall. I'm just finding the current resistance mechanic to be an unnecessary obstacle to progress.

Yeah. It's nice the events are finally repeatable but the serum resistance is off the charts nuts, and drains down at a ridiculously slow rate.

This isn't Dark Souls man. It's a porn game. Stop trying to make the porn difficult to access. lol. It's not even difficult so much as it is time consuming for the sake of consuming time.

Hope none of that came across as harsh cuz I genuinely dig the game and think you've done rock solid work overall. I'm just finding the current resistance mechanic to be an unnecessary obstacle to progress.

Hey - if you want to change the parameters of the game you can - just alter the script.rpy file in any text editor and make the serums work how you want. He made it freely available so you can adjust to your liking. I prefer playing by his rules, except for a little higher salary and starting money, but it really is up to you...(OK if I add this, vren?)

That is all well and good but, you have to realize that the majority of us are not programmers or hackers so we have to take it as is.However, we are all entitled to our opinions thougjh.

I just opened the file with Notepad or Wordpad (or Textedit on Mac) and did a simple search for - like - "serum" or "money" and lines were simply explained as #this is your starting money# and the like. Vren added all these for just this purpose - he made the game to be moddable. All lines that start with hashtag are explanatory - they explain what the line following is for.

And I'm very defintely a non-programmer. This isn't rocket science...course I have been around the block a few times...

Nice to hear that you're toning things down when it comes to difficulty a bit. It gets ridiculous past day 50-70 especially with Lily and Mom.

Lily's skirt often clips through her thighs so if it's an easy fix please take a look at that. Haven't noted down the exact scenes but it's mostly when she's wearing her white dress and sitting/kneeling. Beyond, that I'd like to suggest a vanilla UI option. I get what you were going for with the stylizing but honestly it's more of a pain than anything else, especially in the menus with the grid backround and fancy font.

Also, could you variate the constant Ya's abit? It fits for chars like Steph and Alexia but when Nora or Mom say "Ya" it really takes me out of it. Maybe change some with Yeah/Yes/Yep/whatever depending on the character. I find it's probably the biggest immersion breaker for me personally.

Great game.

Is anyone else having trouble getting high rep with Lily?

It seems like some actions don't raise it at all. Which is strange, since I have been paying attention to the score and noticed that after some scenes it didn't change at all.

Ah, I feel bad for not noticing you asked my permission earlier. Ya, post anything you like. I've actually made everything included in the Lab Rats package free for distribution as long as:

1) You don't charge any money for what you create.
and
2) You keep the Patreon link on the menu in place, or otherwise provide credit where it's due.

Beyond that, go wild and make whatever changes you want!

Hey everyone! Lab Rats v0.6.0 is now out for $5 patrons for bug testing, and the public version v0.6.1 will be released to everyone a week from today once everything has been polished up. This version adds a few UI tweaks (mainly explaining Resistance more completely, and displaying it in a more convenient way), along with 7 "special" endings to the game that require influence scores >100 with two or more girls, and a specific combination of actions at the end of the game.

If you are a patron and have played v0.6.0, this update adds two new major scenes, one for Lily and one for Mom. If the last version you played is v0.5.1, this update adds 7 special endings that require a score over 100 with two or more girls, 2 new major scenes, and a bunch of UI and quality of life changes.

Here's the changelog if you're going from v0.5.1 to v0.6.1:

Does anyone having a guide for the new version?

I made one for myself for a few versions back but I guess it is hopelessly out of date by now since a lot has changed...
