Darthjake Wrote:So it appears to be a text based game, with pics of the girls, it is a management game, but you need to write down some general guidelines as to what things do, players can figure them out but it keeps from having to do a restart if you mis-click and do something stupid. (No, I have no experience at all doing that....)
Example: I had set my entrance fee as $15.00 thinking that was reasonable but the game tells me later your entrance fee is too high, set to $1.00.
Yeah the acceptable entrance fee is based on "reputation", which now that I think of it was not listed in any of the menus. I'll probably have the game auto calc an entrance fee as a suggestion when you go to set it.
Darthjake Wrote:It's a sorority, so I figure go for hot chicks, then lose 2 of them because they are too stupid to pass the tests.
This is something that will be corrected as the character stats become more integrated. Right now if intel < test difficulty(which is based on how many years until graduation) then the girl fails and she is gone. Eventually other stats will be able to roll to save the girl for a semester. So the girl could fail, but then her hotness could be used to seduce the professor/dean to let her pass. There might also be a way to bribe the school to decrease the overall difficulty of the tests.
Darthjake Wrote:The rest graduate, and support me with $0.00. This sounds like something you may still be working on, so no biggie there, but doing a car wash for $150 and losing study time seems like a big impact especially since I put a good size portion into tutoring.
Yeah the funding is something I am working with. Right now each primary stat(hotness, intel, and strength) are used to calculate how much money the girl will donate back to the sorority. The idea was if you are graduating really high level girls, then they will be more successful. On the other hand if your girls are barely passing, then they really aren't going to be all that successful, so they donate less. For the $0.00, with girls passing their finals and graduating, that sounds like something is wrong in the equations, so I'll have to check that.
Darthjake Wrote:So maybe what you want to write up is a guide as to how much is enough, and what requirements will be on the final tests.
Almost all of the equations depend on a random number as part of the math. But I can write up some guidelines as to what values to be around for each number of years left. Needless to say having 100 in intel should be a guarantee for passing.
Darthjake Wrote:And I didn't notice if anything happened when my girls were attacked and beat off the attacker or failed to beat off the attacker, so allocating money to security might be another thing you might look at, again, not sure of your long term plans.
This is yet another aspect that needs integration with everything else. Right now if a girl loses she gets -5 to primary stats, and if she wins +5 to strength. This something that I need to fix up. Adding a budget for security/having your girls "appease" would be attackers(if ya know what I mean

) is planned.
Darthjake Wrote:All in all it looks like an okay game, but not one that screams play me!
Good luck.
Thank you. I know it is very rough around the edges, and for that matter in the middle too!
