I'm amazed at how you're responding to replies so quickly on multiple forums as well. What is the battle mechanics going to be like. Is it action and real time combat like DotA or turn based like chess and if it is like chess do battle rounds count as one of the 500 turns by which we should have completed the game? Also how hard will the game be (assuming no difficulty settings)

Haha I hear you, I need to focus on building the battle prototype. The battle gameplay is like plants vs zombies, where every species, allies or enemies, have their own effects. Each effect requires the species meeting condition to be unleashed, every game.

Expanding territory by doing battles will cost turns, which is also related to the difficulty of the game. Basically, the further you expand, the harder the battles are. One does not have to expand a single territory to finish the 100 rounds, but the ending player receives will be different.

AEHentai is joining us! He has already been a great help on making lively monsters animations. I am sure we can appreciate his attention to details.

Sharing the mating scene of Lilith and Slime Eye. This species uses hypnosis to get its preys :)

A short intro: Slime Eye is a tier 2, Intelligence class support unit. It is considered one of the most manipulative species among all. The discovery of this species becomes the turning point of the survival for Humana Kingdom.

Still working on the battle prototype. Meanwhile, let me share some animation work and enemy stats with you guys.

Not sure if the UI is clear enough. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Looks great to me, my only suggestion would be to outline the letters (either white outline w/ black insides or vice versa) if you're planning to do a translucent card.

Thank you for the feedbacks guys~ Haha few more days until battle prototype happens. There was an incident, it was my own fault...

I added black outline, inner is no go. Is it better? Would it look a bit cartoony?

OK I'm missing something blatantly obvious, but outside of the animation missing in the second one, I'm not seeing much of any difference between them. Both seem fine to me...but maybe I'm looking for a big difference and it's a subtle one I'm not picking up on

The text on it. The animated one lacks a black border on the lettering.

Perhaps the change is too subtle.

I am going to switch the graph(Hp, Att, AG) on the left to just numbers. People suggested having different scale for each attribute create confusion, rendering the graph less helpful when doing comparison between monsters.

Sorry have been rushing for the battle prototype. Here is an updated version of the monsters stats graph. I hope it doesn't look clutter.
