Sorry if I sounded annoyed, I was hoping you had more interactions with Bernadette and the nurse than you did is all. I do like that you got the battle mechanic worked out better, and it looked like your focus was getting backstory in place and making the battle first. It's just...I want hot nurse sex! I'm curious on something, are you referring to animations as how well the animations flow, or more animations, or what, exactly?

I'm about to finish a 3D animation degree, and basically they've said to me, if I want to be a great animator, I need to keep looking up animation online and continue my training for the rest of my life.

There are some great books out there as well, but they are for serious animators, Character Animation Crash Course, Animator's Survival Guide, Acting for Animators, Timing for Animation, some people swear by The Illusion of Life, but it was a bit round-about for my tastes. Again, these books are for people who are planning to be professional animators, they will expect you to already have a firm grasp of The 12 Principles before you start. I bring them up in case any of our LoK animators want to extend their knowledge. However, as a jack-of-all-trades game developer turned animator myself, you often end up making "animations" through programming, like program a character to jump or screech to a halt. Having some sense of animation principles like timing, staging, slow-in-slow-out, anticipation, will be helpful to game developers even if you are not an artist.

Also the most important thing to remember is that the word animation does not mean "to make it move", animation means "to bring it to life". Bad animation is like shaking a dead animal around to convince someone it's still alive. Making good animation is about adding those extra special details that makes it feel alive and real.

Oh, and dialog results should favor the bold because, get this in perspective now, what you're simulating is a crime racket, and organized crime will gobble up the mild. Bold sounding statements about vengeance fail to exhibit any intestinal fortitude from this protagonist.

I don't know, Bernadette's situation is fairly believable, if a little too much like Alice from SimBro. If Bernadette is, say, good at balancing the budget or managing people, then it makes sense to keep her around to run the brothel even if she's not a prostitute. Making everything sex sex sex crime crime crime isn't necessarily the best kind of story. It's good to have characters that feel real.

And prostitution isn't necessarily a crime, it depends on where and when this is supposed to take place (same with slavery).

I agree with Ace, I'd rather have a character that is believable than it be all about sex. Having believable characters is important for those that want some kind of story in addition to the porn.

OK, gave it a go, think I'll start with the negative because one of them really was frustrating

The Bad: The massage system is off. I don't know if I just need to have it there or push in time with the massage, and going up on the pleasure meter is SLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW. I was able to see Nurse Susan in panties and she was starting to show off some breast but it's so slow in rising (unless I'm missing something, which might be) that I gave up.

Graphic quirk: Susan's eyes, when you are massaging her, seems off. One eye is full, the other looks like she's looking away

Performance quirk: Until you get the pub, you are losing money, Income is less than expenses. After you get the pub, you get a $5 net increase (this is assuming you don't have any fun with a prostitute). Given it takes about 200 to get going (make a room, hire prostitute) and you start with 250 before doing anything...it makes it tough to know whether to chase the Stars gang or try to build up and deal with them later

The Good: Interactions with sexy nurse! WOOHOO!

MOST of the thugs you can beat without having to heal much, against the lvl 4 thug, with thorns in the bat, I was able to beat him without having to heal if I had a bat. Yeah I was in trouble afterwards, but hey!

I want more! I wanna know what's with the girl's room, how to increase loyalty with the prostitutes, and if I can have a threesome with Bernadette and Susan! (OK, maybe that last one is just a wish, but hey)

Hot sex with nurse and hot sex with barmaid? WOOHOO! Now I just need hot sex with Bernadette (does she still only do the blowjob, can't seem to get anything else). The upgrade system makes things so much easier, and it looks like the massage minigame is easier too. Biggest complaint is after you win the first act there's not much else to do, can't go to the beach yet, still don't know what the room by the pole dancer is for...

The animation for the demon is broken in the call girl n fuk option and also the online market place in the laptop is a bit buggy

nice little game. Needs a bit more work on mechanics though.
for example:
* all sex acts give you the same pay out, but varying degrees of dirtiness. why would you bother, outside of animations, to ever select anything but the hand job.
* with regards to dirtiness. Why is this even in the game? I get that when dirty is 100 the girl can't preform sex acts but ... going to the sower is a free action. It would be better if you needed to assign one (or more) girl(s) to the bathroom. they would then be unavailable for sex, but would be clean the next day
* auto collect doesn't take into account the other boni you unlock for sex. So a room would give you 80 with auto collect, but 240 when manually collecting. Don't know if this is intentional, but it feels dumb.
* related to this. Why is there no auto collect on the BDSM rooms?
* why do girls cost different amounts of money when they all make you the same amount? I would understand different costs for different skill levels resulting in different pay outs.
* same goes for the demon

Some minor bugs I encountered
* When assigning the demon to a room and then have her give a hand job, her arm will turn human
* as noted by L4Z3R inviting the demon to you room will result in broken animations
* when you get the double payout bonus from the laptop, it actually triples they payout
* using Emily to give a hand job as a prostitute makes her disappear. she does show up for the other anims

now don't take all of this as me not liking the game, I do! otherwise i wouldn't have bothered to type all of this out.
There is much potential here, just a bit rough right now

I like what's been added so far! Only request is to add more prostitutes and maybe have more "daily chores".

Gave the latest version a go, I like that you can visit the demon land and recruit a demon...but the demon hostess (or whatever she is) you don't fuck, it's just a handjob. Shame, shame... hot sex with beautiful demon lady unfulfilled... minor thing but when you ask Bernadette for a massage, the "massage" doesn't show up, the only way to know it's there is the mouse pointer changes. Still not sure what's happening after you beat the city, maybe that's in the wintry area that's not done yet?

Still fun, just wish there was more than there is. Like there was more regarding the Stars after you kick them out of the city, or that the nurse and the barmaid tag-team you for hot sexy fun (just maybe that's a fantasy...) I'm also not sure who "Megan" is...
