Correct. I've considered putting in rare negative events specific to Hard Mode, but... I think the game is difficult enough as it is right now without the positive events. The alternative is mainly just looking for other ways to differentiate Hard Mode from the normal modes in order to make playing it worth the effort. The next public release has a Hard Mode-only area that should provide a bit of incentive.

Just discovered your game and its become one of my favourites. I love the pixel art especially.

I was wondering if you plan to add new events based on stats as they only seem to effect money.
I know you don't want to give spoilers but i can't to find Amelia. i'm probably missing something obvious

Anyway look forward to you improving an already great game

There already are events based on stats. For example, if you choose the charisma-boosting ability, the movie event will raise your charisma even more.

To find Amelia, you need to lose multiple times at the horse races. At a certain point, you'll get a cutscene where Soo is pissed and decides to cheat, and Amelia catches her. And then, you'll open up the church. After that, just go to the church often enough and you'll eventually open up Amelia's "house".

Thanks i knew it would be something obvious. Took me while to figure out the sewer endings as well

Disclaimer: Havent played the newest build yet so you mightve already added in something like this.

Ever think of adding in a gallery or some type of item to purposefully lower your stats? Because once you reach a certain Int threshold monsters just seem to stop appearing in the sewers, even on hard mode so alot of the times, I dont have the chance to see their animations.

Other than that gotta say, love the game thus far.

A gallery is planned, yes. Though this problem has been addressed in the latest build - the sewers have been significantly revamped, and Int no longer has a bearing on monster confrontations or random events. Now running into specific monsters depends on which 'branch' of the sewers you enter, making it a bit easier to find the monster you want. (Assuming you know where they appear.)

I REALLY like the humor that you put in this, it's like *how many times can I break the 4th wall and make it funny?* (so far, a lot!) Will we every find out who that mysterious man in the trench coat is?

Having run through the sewers a lot, I appreciate how much effort you put into the sewer. Avoiding the lowest level lets me go through the sewers as much as I want, KNOW you have played (or still play) Earthbound given one of the encounters, and there are multiple ways to deal with a given encounter! GOOD STUFF!

Yes! What's under the trench coat has already been drawn, actually, just not plugged into the game. OooOoOooo, the great mystery.

I am, fortunately, not so conceited that I'll put in a sequence with Soo fucking myself. If she ever found out my wife might not like that.

EarthBound is one of my favourite games period. So much of Soo Cubus' utterly random humour was informed by EarthBound. Just... with a layer of porn ladled on top.

That's one of the endings. I really need to put the Ending titles back on those pictures. Wanted to animate them a bit before I did.

In regards to the additional items, it seems like using them unlocks an additional sex scene with the person they are tied to, and I got what appeared to be a positive response cut scene to all of the purchases, but I only got Amelia's alernate scene to show, despite repeated efforts to try and see if the scene rng would furnish the alternate scene on the others.

Also, Amelia's scenes bugged out a bit after I got the robot parts, sometimes overlaying two or more scenes on top of each other.

Yeah, I didn't manage to finish 'em. That's on the table for this week's work, among other things, so the public release will get those animations in a week and a half, I guess. Amelia and Guy both have one in the current build. Also, yeah, I've fixed the Amelia overlap, and it'll show up in the next public build.

The items do more than that, but no one seems to have found their other function yet.

Would that have anything to do with the results of Big D visiting at a lover's location? He met the wrong end of Sew on my most recent playthrough.
