Well actually, we did have that somewhat recent update that adds an invisible tracker to the girls' pleasure. The longer the scene goes, the more blissful her expression becomes.
Leads all the way up to ahegao.
It's perhaps not the best way to determine mood effect as you'll just spam the animation until ahegao for the sake of stats. Nonetheless, it shows some kind of female pleasure-tracking.

1. Julia is the "maid" that Alice brings to the Male Character for a job interview anywhere between the start of Day 2 to Day 10. She's really quiet and shy, and if treated well (as well as you can treat the NPCs in this game, at least), she pseudo falls in love with the Male Character (again, as well as an NPC can fall in love in this game). I know the game is more focused on Alice being the girl to "attain," but Julia's preferable... to some (read: to me).

2. I don't think you can pay off the debt completely yet, or did they patch that in?

3. Recruiting girls from the bar requires a Charm Check to be passed when you talk to them, then either charm them again or buy them a drink. After that, choose for them to go to your place, after having sex with them, pay them the $50 and reason with them.

4. Be a patron, and get cheat codes.

5. Forum version is one month behind the Patreon version. It's the version I play as well, I'll jump in on the Patreon bandwagon when they "fix" Julia. ;-)

1) If you play a male PC and have an open room near the beginning, Alice will bring in another maid, Julia. She can be convinced to become a whore immediately.
2) I don't think anything special happens after paying the deposit.
3) You recruit from the bar/hospital with a high Charm and Beauty stat. Bar requires both, hospital only requires Charm. You can only recruit bank lady once, when she's in the bathroom. Charm check as well. Requires male on all parts I think.
4) $10 patreon reward https://www.patreon.com/simbro
5) Prem is one month ahead, and has cheat codes if you want.

Unless Julia just wants the MC for his body...that would be a neat twist actually, she's so quiet because she finds him boring and just wants his dick.
Wouldn't expect a game like this to stab you in the heart like that and make you realize what a monster you are in your endless pursuit of Alice's virgin vagina...

But then you continue to do it anyway because you're just a game you don't know me!


To tie this in with game balancing it does make sense, it'd be way too easy to keep her mood at 100 and whore her out to absolutely no disadvantage besides stamina.
Considering mood is in the game at all it should do something. Oversexing puts mood down, buying gifts or going on dates puts it up.

I'm playing as FC and it's on Day 57, her dignity is already at 50, but her doors is always "cautiously closed" whenever I drag her onto the shower room

Just check the shower without dragging her there. Dragging her there is kind of like you told her to go take a shower, she'll be careful about it.
If she decided on her own, she might be less cautious..

At least that's how I found it. Check shower every morning to see who's up. Though that is as MC, not FC

That's why I said she should lose more mood than what's normal for the whores when pimped out to clients to balance it out. You not only lose her stamina to be used for income, but the entirety of the income that would be gained from it being used to service a client as well. You don't even need to give the normal whores half of the income as a bonus to completely negate any mood drop for sleeping with even hated clients. So having Julia gain mood for having sex with the main character isn't anywhere near game-breaking. All it would do is add more flavor to her character.

Firstly, the type of woman who would be unhappy that you only want her for her body seems relatively unlikely to be a literal whore.
So I'd say that type is irrelevant in this game's context, much as they are irrelevant to my interests anyway.
More importantly, even such a type would be pleased by a successful sexual encounter culminating in orgasm, even if they prefer a different overall relationship.

Going back to an earlier post, "Unless your relationship is purely sexual" would seem to be a caveat that applies here; chick's FIRST encounter with you is to blow you.
Or at least it can be if you play it that way; I don't know any other outcomes, having never bothered with them.
And "OVER"sexing may involve acts started at 0 whore-stamina, (impossible for now in-game) but it has little to do with encounters at high stamina.

So Julia losing mood while full of energy and fucking a dude she's into continues to make very little sense, despite any possible efforts at justification.

For any chick, losing mood for fucking without cumming, or while exhausted, makes rational sense - but the current state of game-mechanics plainly doesn't.
Annoyance at having to fuck as a job-duty when not in the mood makes sense too, and it's perfectly reasonable for a tip to decrease that.
Much in the game totally works for immersion, but I've always thought the -5 female mood across the board regardless of pleasure etc had no merit to it.

Game BALANCE is a separate issue, but is best dealt with in a way that supports immersion rather than doing violence to it, in my opinion.
The existence of a nympho trait is great, in game as in reality, and balanced (in game as in reality) by its regrettable rarity.
I suppose there could be a frigid trait that was the OPPOSITE, but again such a chick seems incredibly, astonishingly unlikely to have come into this profession.
The trouble is that the CURRENT setup makes it seem as though your entire cast (except the nymphos) already suffers from HAVING that trait, you see?
That's no good.


Also, to IxFa:

Ahegao-tracker seems like a step in the right direction, I'm pretty glad they put in something like that.

Started a new game, got to day 4, got Julia.

Results of not fucking her:
Alice +10 mood
Julia has 50 dignity(You can't have her fuck anyone)

Apart from "when the chick cums she loses no mood" I still don't know what would be an ideal in-game representation that serves both sexiness and immersion.

I mean, I'm willing to sacrifice immersion for ALL kinds of things, and chief among those is sexiness.

But when both sexiness and immersion point in the selfsame direction, it's not surprising to see me in favour of the game going that way.

I agree with this idea. While I've never been a whore, I'd say I'd be less bothered to have sex with someone I'm very attracted to than some other random shmuck.

I'd say I have a pretty high sex drive but I still don't magically find emotional satisfaction just because I found physical satisfaction.
I don't know the ins and outs of being a prostitute but I know I would find it draining on my heart to be fucked by people I never cared for day after day. Even sex with someone I love might not be as fulfilling at that point. If you want to really immerse yourself in the mentality of it I'd wager it's not so unreasonable that they need proper care and occasional breaks in order to stay happy.
Just give them time to rest, have platonic non-sexual friendships with people, and not be living sex objects. As by doing that, their mood stays pretty high, it's relatively realistic.
That's my two cents. Feel free to propose a counter-argument.

You'll get the basement unlocked and there's a couple of tabs that lets you move up and down floors. It's at the top of the floorplan window next to the title of the floor you're on.

Occasional association with friends boosting one's mood seems perfectly legit to me, though adding a sexual element shouldn't reduce mood unless you're exhausted.

On this (or perhaps a related) note, mood gains from time spent chilling and buying clothes seem legit.
And if I recall right, they're NOT reduced by fucking at the store after buying clothes, which seems perfectly in order.
(I mean, one wonders if some of dem clothes are really COMFORTABLE enough to cause mood-gains, but regardless, this is a part of the game I've no quarrel with.)

Relevant info if you aren't aware:
Female character must have a male NPC in their brothel for the Alice shower event. (I had 3 at the time, both Alice scenes I've found used the same male NPC, and it wasn't the bouncer one NPC. Thankfully.)
And the event is HOT. I love it.

The orgasm won't reduce your mood, but the scenario itself will. Orgasms are nice, but she's still being a whore and making pretty little cash doing so. They probably aren't very proud to let everyone fuck 'em just so they can get $60 per day. That's just 21k/year if they do it every single day without any days off ever. That's not a lot of money. Bonuses keep mood up as they actually make a more suitable wage that way but a lot of people have poor self-worth if they're fucking around all the time.
People are emotional beings. We girls especially... If orgasms made the mood not go down, you'd theoretically be able to have her mood never reduce at all by - through orchestrating it or just random chance - always having her orgasm every time. If it takes a toll on her DESPITE remaining at high stamina, not having clients she dislikes, and cumming every time, I'd say the only cause is her being unsuitable.
I do think such a failure should be reflected in a separate trait rather than just being "not a nympho".
And even then, for her mood to decrease the same amount whether she cums or not doesn't strike me as right at all.


At this point right now I don't think that rattling the issue around will produce any new ideas on my part, but maybe I'll think of something later.
To summarise what makes sense to me at this point just in case I forget and want to look back - and in case anyone else wants to say anything - I'd recommend:
For Non-Nymphos:

1: Have orgasm tracking and have orgasms positively affect whore mood.
(Maybe make it related to the skill and beauty of the client, I don't know.
It just seems like pure nonsense for me to summon a fresh whore, have decent skill, decent beauty, decent charisma, high Hygiene, and still have her lose mood.)

2: Possibly have jobs at less than half stamina be the starting point for a negative effect on whore mood (apart from 'she doesn't like the client' cases).
(Working while tired is usually less fun.)

3: Possibly have jobs at less than half hygiene be a starting point for a negative effect on whore mood.
(Unless you've got a fetish for it, working while uncomfortably dirty is usually less fun.)

4: Possibly have the client's Hygiene have an effect on whore mood, with high hygiene of course being most preferable.
(...Unless a whore has a fetish for stinky guys, this one should probably speak for itself.)

5: Have a "she likes the client" descriptor with a positive effect on whore mood, just as there's a "she doesn't like the client" descriptor with an added negative one.
(If we leave aside disease [which I will, as it's an aspect of realism I'm happy to sacrifice for sexiness] then fucking unattractive clients is THE downside to whoring.
But it's balanced of course by the upside of fucking attractive ones.)

And in general (especially in case the female main character still loses mood regardless: I haven't checked)

Deal with game-balance issues in a way that does not harm immersion.

We disagree, but I do like hearing your perspective on it all.
My position hasn't changed; I don't think whoring is a very emotionally-fulfilling full-time job. ( I only have my own experience to go on, so it doesn't mean much. )

Mood just stays pretty high all the time in my experience, thus the system would need rebalancing if mood-reduction is changed as much as you suggest.
I'll be fine with changes, even if I disagree with some of the logic.

More importantly, however, is content. That's what I want. Especially with the female player. Alice storyline is very nice on females...

Is there anyway to tell what the difficulty setting in the game currently affects? I'm not really noticing any change at all in the gameplay. I'm frequently failing on stat rolls that show a 'normal' chance and rarely succeeding on rolls that have a 'good' chance of success. And this is on 'Easy'.

Also, any clue when we're going to be able to control Hair colors during character creation?

Also Also, can we has a way to get the "Nympho, tsundere, etc" traits for the main Female character?

Also Also Also, why does the "character" slider at the bottom of the character creator for female gameplay never work anymore? The first time I played this, many versions ago, it toggled between female character builds and outfits. Now, I'm stuck with the build that has stats lower than a lvl 1 prostitute from the slums and the Black Mamba outfit.
