Hmm nobody's puttin in nearly enough word (maybe more comments on the blog?). This game's awesome! :D

I'm super excited to see what you come up with once the purchasing and breeding start to get fleshed out. :3

Yea i dont know why. But the store, hud, and other items that need to exchange data are my main concern right now. But I want to make sure they are all planned out nicely before I program them.

On that note, Ill be putting up some hud designs and you can contribute your input on Friday at around 10pm PST. I'm posting a few designs, contribute your suggestions as im going to be making all of its features in flash within that night/sat morning .

Ill inform you the details here when i begin, and if anything changes, ill post it here as well. Also be sure to add suggested features for the game before Friday, here or at the blogger, because once ive created the hud and programmed it I dont plan on changing it for a long time!

So I got my Cintiq late today and ive been setting up my office area... Its Fing with my screen setup and i have to deal with that before i can get started. Ill keep you informed!

Yea I love them. I had a small one, then moved onto a medium Intuos, and now my Cintiq 22" hd arrived. The only problem is I needed to rework my setup to fit it in, and now i need to buy a new cord to make all 3 screens work.... But 4-5 hours of work later Im setup, to a working condition.

I would like to apologize to anyone who waited for me, I did not expect this to arrive today. Ill post my setup later on blogger, Here is the link to the page i will be using at 10pm PST Today. Im moving it because I want to try and make this game very open in its design. :geek:

Come chat and ask questions about the game. Also im changing the resolution to something more appropriate than the 1000 x 1000 i have. It is being re designed for 800 x 600. Questions of concerns?

I might be on at the chat. i will be working on creating a design for an AI today, come voice your opinion on Female vs Male Ai model. I might also work on room designs again. Tell me your thoughts on the designs made, and things you wish to see by clicking the link in the post above.

Im going to be working on the ai again. I didnt like how any of my other models turned out so I scrapped them. I also have a website banner design im doing for my job, so i'll be switching allot, might not get much done. If you want to chat I will be onfrom now till somewhere after 12 am.

Is this going to be like Spell Jammer!? As far as flying around and such in a ship, You could probably take a couple ideas from it. It's an old DOS game, I doubt anyone would ever remember it.

Edit: I laughed hard when i saw the name of the ship. I named plenty of other ships that in other games I've played. I think I'm going to like this.

Ive never played spell jammer, so I have no idea. Ill be sure to check it out.

My idea behind the game is kinda, RPg, Tradewind, Slaver, Farm sim mashup.. That might be an odd way of describing it.

The gameplays main focus is exploring the galaxy and completing quests, but to do that you need large sums of money. So your kinda forced into Slave farming/breeding, or trading.

Im logging off for today but before I go I have a question,
What is an item(not produced from creatures) that you want to be trading.(So far Iv though, Guns, Dragon Dildos, Supply crates) Come up with a wacky list and I will try to add them.

Medicine, could be important trade resources for developing planets, or planets that are infected with plague. A planet with the infected flag would probably pay a whole lot to get a cure. This, is pretty stereo type though.
Video taped porn that you gather from slaves could be a splendid trade item. ( i guess that could technically be produced from creatures or slaves)
Bondage materials, (cuffs, whips, etc.)
Giant dildo that you can mount to your ship for ramming.
Lubes of varying vescosoties, slickness, and cost.
high quality beds.

The other Items seem like player Items, more than trade Items, but I might try and work some of them in.

The porn though is definitely a great idea... Begs the question of why it wasnt obvious to me.

This is also, sometimes less is more. If you have a game where there are hundreds of tradeable items that very in cost, then it could get complicated. A player may be more happy if tradeable goods were simplified, erring on the side that simple means less that would imply less stress, where what items you could get the most out of from your cargo. Playing Sid Mires' Pirates!, there were five trade items; Food, Luxuries, sugar, spice, and goods, (Goods was depicted as crates and barrels).

As long as you keep the type of items that can be traded simple, then you will do just fine. Then again, there are players that don't mind a challenging Ecosystem.

You can do virtually nothing in the game so far. Mostly just a plan that I havent had time to work on.

The game looks really promising i am looking forward to what it will become! Found a bug. In Spacebattle the HP % is aways at 100. the bars are mooving but the it aways shows 100%.
