Yup, all is now and find. BTW, have you resolved the issue with the elevator that takes you up to Kraid's room? I wanna make sure that the player doesn't somehow accidentally miss the ride and then get stuck because they can't up to that room.

Think you could do something about the rate of health drain in the front metroid scene? It seems to end awfully quick compared to other scenes, even when the metroid starts at full health.

This game is getting better and better :) I had my fun at the pirate base. It reminded me of super metroid - but with better enemy (sex) attacks ;) :lol:
I hope there will be more, after defeating ridley.

New update looking good so far. No bugs to report as of, and the new custscenes are working fine.

hey, I wasted all of today on something that looks awful in game..
so, unless I end up mounting the dialogue bar to the HUD, this'll be your only look at character portraits here..

MY TIME MANAGEMENT SUCKS.
(but, we all knew that..)

no updates, I've really been struggling to focus these last few days.
so, I figure I'll talk about what what's coming up.

(this is a little process where I guilt myself into working harder)

so, first big thing - zergling.
full attack and motion animations, code. all that. (maybe grapple anims, if you're all good.)

then, lizard guards.
idle animations, player responses. (no XXX, need to re-think armor layers..)

next, T-rex scene.

and maybe add a few of the ready-made girls to the character roster whenever I need a break.


alright, there.. now I can work. tomorrow..

have you made it off the elevator?
I've tried to jump off it, but I never could.
but, there is a system in to re-set the elevator if the player is at the bottom and the lift isnt.

..just can't test it without breaking they system for no reason.

..can you miss the elevator?

yeah, this is about 10% of what I want the game to be when it's done.
more levels, more bosses, more quests, more events.

Well, I did it once before accidentally, so I figured there's always a possible chance that some random player might end up missing the elevator too. But if there's a system to reset the elevator, then I think the issue is solved. I believe I can make it happen again.

Not anytime soon.
So the reason i ask is because i can see that going bad really fast.
I suggest you make a method (or what ever you call them) so when you give it a String, it will move words down to the next line if your limit is hit.

Speaking of Super Metroid, anyone notice that the boss Draygon is practicality assraping samus with his stinger when he grabs her? Seems like he would fit right in here.

the trick is that each line is it's own text box - I can word them individually.

so, I get to do line-breaks whenever I want.

(I like those.)


also, "/n" in the code emulates the return key -- for new lines.
(so, the same thing can be achieved with a single box, but it looks more cluttered)
