We had someone with the same problem a few posts back. I'll use spoiler tags again for the answer:

You can't jump over the rock. At the first slope you have to wait and start moving just after you see the rock crashing into the ground. On the second slope the safe spot is still there. It just has been moved slightly. If you move up against the stairlike wall thingy where it used to be, the rock will hit you now as you have noticed. BUT the rock now sort of bounces off that point, so it actually seems to describe a little arc over the second slope. So the new safespot is about in the middle of the second slope.

I guess that's what Corta meant by "move out of the way". The Safespot's still there, it was just moved a little.

I don't want to spoil it for you, but basically after going to Start Game just explore the area. As a hint, you get to the mountains after you go through a little greenery. Remember this is Corta's Platformer. Hopefully that's a good enough hint without giving it away.

--Added: the BGM framework is making a comeback, cave working again.
--Changes: BUGFIXES

--Notes: Ridley's room should be less broken, now. also, new compression - knocked off quite a bit from the filesize.



##EDIT. Finally uploaded CS5 character template - check the sig.

BUGFIXES.
less lag. (replaced a set of playframes)
smaller filesize. (even less lag?)

haven't hit all the bugs, yet -- it's mainly the easy/stupid stuff.

more bugfixes, BGM sets, credits and some combat tweaks coming up.

also, a thought occurred about the performance when you download..
check to see if you're running flash 11.2.
plugin and local versions of flashplayer are kept separate for some reason, for some people... so.. uhh.. yeah. (did I have a point, here?)

the path to the pirate base is somewhat hidden, but that's mainly because I want to lead the player to the sharpclaw territory first for the story.
whenever I get the resources (or time) to get the story done, I'll have trace or something scurry up those trees.

4. Now, lets see, what did I just press in there? Joking aside, when you drop into ship you drop on some platform instead of on the floor. Sometimes it bounces you back up, sometimes you stay there like I did but you can walk to the left to drop down. I don't know if it is intended but you can also jump up and out of the ship?

Speaking of metroids, may I suggest that they be made to move a little faster? It's far too easy atm to simply ignore them. That's my only suggestion. I've enjoyed following this game's development.

--Added: the BGM framework is in, collecting sounds.
--Changes: few more bugfixes.

--Notes: this LZMA compression is pretty powerful.. I've thrown in a heap of sounds and the size is still less than it was 3 updates ago on "deflate".
..wonder what the drawback is gonna be..


got a few more things working, mainly in the pirateship area,

mini scenes ought to be playing right,
the 'drop in' from the pirate ship hole now plays, - ..or, it should, anyway..
activator hitboxes have been reworked a little bit, - they'll fade out right, now
ridley's lift should now be working,
and metroids got some combat tweaks.

also, I've scoped some shiney little gems in the chopshop that must've popped up when I was off.
so, some pretty costumes on the way courtesy of our good friends Digfree and LuftMallow!

y'know, I was just tweaking the metroid's attack pattern when I read this,
sped it up from 3 to 9 pixels/fame and it only attacks when it's close enough to hit.
feels more metroid-ey, right?

The only possible drawback I can think of is that it won't be compatible with older Flash player -- it sucks to be those who don't want to update.

Lets see what issues I can find now:

1. Those crawling bugs in the cave (don't know their name, sorry), when they cum in your mouth there is no cum residue or spill. I suggest making hero cough out a bit on her tits.
2. Not sure if that is intended, but when you shoot those crawlers it pushes them back and sometimes they get stuck in their running animation making them all too easy to kill.
3. If there are two of them and the first one gets you, you don't even get to draw a gun and shoot before the second one incapacitates you. If you fix #2, you should consider giving player some time before the second attack.
4. If you stand in front of the control panel for the rocks it shows that you should press space but it doesn't react to it, you have to move out to the right for the control to work.
5. If you foot-massage a pirate then rush to the control panel it will get activated without pressing the space again.
6. The Pirate on top of the ship is standing/walking in air.
7. Metroid is now impossibly hard to defeat, it closes up quickly and since it tends to intersect with your head it is not possible to shoot it or melee it.
8. Got stuck here (top left door in the elevator shaft) being perpetually fucked in the ass by a Metroid so I had to replay from the start. I played again and next metroid that caught me (by the rock) also got stuck in my ass. Then I replayed the third time and it happened again near the end! Grrr...

As I am writing this, it is happening to me for the fourth time -- Metroid energy scale goes down but it doesn't die. Exclusively happens when it fucks you in the ass. Also this time it came from up front but still ended up being behind my back. You really have to make it impossible for Metroids to pass through the player character.
9. In the boss fight music is choppy.

Funny, I'm not having that problem. I am having the Ridley fight BGM problem, though. It also interferes with the sound effects.

Something I've always been curious about, with regards the pirate sex animations.

Maybe it's just me, but...I'm thinking that if I was a Space Pirate whose main goal was to get his nuts emptied, and I had absolutely no regard for the woman I used to achieve that goal, I wouldn't be looking to empty my load in the woman's mouth when she's just as vulnerable to being bent over and being fucked in either pussy or ass. ;)

--Changes: EVEN MORE bugfixes.

--Notes: this LZMA compression is still pretty cool. nothing too broken yet.


had a few hickups thrown my way, today - so I didn't get that much done.

fixed BGM, SFX, metroid and activator bugs.
and feel free to check out the credits gallery that I'm working on.

animation tweaks, new girls and probably more bugfixes next major update.

not really my problem, if you won't update a free program, you don't get to complain about compatibility.

1. Yeah, that's something I'm doing later - 'recovery times' for the end of every rape scene. though, I ought to have done them already.. stay tuned.

Nope, still getting metroids stuck in the ass. This time first room to the left in the elevator shaft, after hitting "Rewind" and restarting the playthrough it happened again at the rock.
And again it happened that it was infront of me, incapacitated me and got me from behind even though the front animation should have been used.

I am afraid I have to give up on testing until you completely fix this one -- it is mighty annoying to have to replay from the start if a single metroid gets you -- just now I was at the elevator and it got me again (there was nowhere to move).

Coughing out cum is cool, and you already have that one. Should be easy to add it to other gag scenes :)

If they are close to you it doesn't. Problem is that enemies should not be able to intersect with player character because then the collision detection can sometimes fail and you are unable to punch.

The one walking on the topmost area of the ship is walking like 0.5-1cm off the ship top.

That works if you have a place to move to, not if you are surrounded by several threats.

Here is an idea for the game -- make cum act as a "magnet" for the enemies. Make the enemies spot the player and engage from a distance which is proportional to the amount of cum she is covered with. Make them swarm to a player if she is fully covered with cum. Then make a few points throughout the levels where she can wash up or maybe a pickup item like a box of Kleenex with certain number of uses.
