*Looks at the current poll* I just made the Tigress outfit recently because you, Sigurd, and even me thought it was a nice idea to include it. Now you want the possibility of it to be replaced outright since there's been a few Rule #34 images of a power-up in a game that's not even released yet. I know that the Tigress clothes aren't really Mario-influenced thing out there, but we don't even have any clue how exactly the cat works. It's not a good Idea to just throw in something that's new in your game only to keep up with the trends. This why mainstream games now are mostly zombie apocalypses, forced emotional attachment, and forced emotional attachment during a zombie apocalypse.

Dont worry. I've PM you. ALL outfits will have a special scene (or two), and they will be able to be bought / gathered in bonus levels.

At least what I can gather from the Wiki wasn is known about it, it allows the players to run up walls, lunge at enemies with scratches, crouching and running, and allows you to climb up Goal Poles. Well using it as an attack is one thing, so is climbing up poles (although why here), but what about the other things? All I see it is as something to get Peach to dress up as a catgirl with clothes. On the one hand, another catgirl outfit. On the other, it's a dress from an upcoming game that has almost little use besides dressing Peach up as a cat.

... Eh, I dunno. I rather stick with the Raccoon Leaf for a naked woman walking around with animal accessories.

I dont plan many features if Cat Suit were chosen / added to the game. We dont need complex features. For now, it will be a cute outfit, but puzzles can be caston her later.

PS... not important but I recently noticed since 2.0.8 the inventory is always empty in the world map.

And from what I've seen as of this post, cat suit is doubled the tigress suit.
For me, I'm not worried about the suit, rather than "can I get rid of the dress, gloves and stockings so I can have Peach in just the cat ears and tails?" Because why not, cat girls are hot.

And in case the cat suit wins, should one of us make a cat bell?

Doesn't bug me in the slightest. Then again I got started playing Mario ever since 64, so... I dunno. I guess I'm used to the change it doesn't stick out to me.

Again, and again, people, I need directions. I need to know exactly what you do.
When I test myself, I go to level 1-2, enter the Toad House, get a given clothing (e.g. Dress) and it goes in the inventory normally. I tested with 3 different powerups. All of them was listed correctly (three icons there). When using a given one, only this one leaves the inventory, leaving two others to be used later.
Maybe when saving with items in the inventory, them loading it back, are they disappearing? Or they disappear if you open it (showing the powerups), but not use them yet, then go to another level, and then visit the worldmap again?

I am trying to get some inspirations since early in the sunday but I am running into an annoying bug with Sir Grodus (its a local bug, not in the updated game on the site).

The discussion can be lenghty but, to summarize, for me, Mario is now oriented to be a KID mascot. Not a teenager or adult mascot. He doesnt convince me he is an adult anymore (like Mario Bros Super Show and classic Mario). He appears to be... 16 years old or even less. And now, in the games, Mario and Peach are more like 'siblings', not potential lovers. When we play LINK and ZELDA, we have more 'certainity' they will love each other than Mario and Peach. Go figure.

Yep yep yep, this is where the brief of my game theory was in the other conversation last night.
With the changing artwork and character designs my reasoning was that the original Mario was an Italian, from our world, started out doing construction and plumbing, saved a princess from an escaped ape. Learned she was from the Mushroom Kingdom and went there and caused Super Mario 1,2,3. Then they finally hooked up and had kids.

Was not a prequel. That's Mario Junior. Luigi Junior would have been born a little while later and Peach Jr is their older sister. And rightful heir.

And this is where my game theory went. Since the turn of the millennium more and more of the Mario games have focused around Jr Mario and Jr Luigi and they're just never clarified it to date. The original Peach is still around, and potentially the Princess Peach game was even of the mother (Not sure) not Peach Jr.

I support this with Mario's hobbies and Passtimes. The current Mario doesn't seam to have a day job, he lives in a cottage on the castle grounds, frits between being a Doctor, a Musician, rally car driver, and many other things, plays golf on expansive golf courses that only royalty could own, and when Peach goes missing does his Princely duty and tracks her down and beats up Bowser for being the evil overlord.
But not before giving Peach time to spend with her and Bowser's sons.

Which is the final nut in the shell. Everyone has talked about the sexual tension between Bowser and Peach. He's a disgraced overlord from a second class specie, she's a royal princess. He want's to rule the kingdom. And what's up with the Koopalings. Easy!

tldr;
While the original Mario and Peach were in love and married and ever after and had kids named after themselves, The current Mario and Peach are Brother and Sister - and the disgraced overlord Bowser is Peach's astranged lover. Although even if he isn't her lover and the kids were born from Peach having been forced upon, the 'kidnappings' are totally just a farce so that Peach can see her kids and spend a little time at each of their castles.
( Not that Bowser isn't going to take advantage of that for another bid at the kingdom )

For me in the Flash version, I went to visit Charlington and bought a Bigshroom from him. I started a new game and I didn't change anything about it, but when I checked my inventory, it wasn't there. I guess this might be a Flash problem, but I'm not sure if this applies elsewhere.

Also I got a problem with World 1-2 when I talked to the Toads at the end and I went to go retrieve the key to unlock the door. Apparently the timer stops running after I finished talking to them the first time I talked to them because I was stuck at 82 seconds for the remaining of my time on the level. Bug!

... He's 16? With a mustache like that at such a young age, I'm jealous. I haven't seen anyone with that kind of facial hair at such a young age, so I have no idea on where you're getting your interpretation. I guess it could be that since Mario is made into an everyman, it's possible for him to fit him in any kind of scenario give or take. Maybe his appearance change could be from all the running around he does. After all, he's gotta be burning a lot running around the Mushroom Kingdom to save the Princess.

My brother had a moustache at 14 !
So I take it as 'midly plausible'. But I would have assumed current Mario is in his twenties myself.

Man I was the awkward kid at school. I had hard on mustache at the age of 14 as well, and then by my last year I was able to grow full on goatee and beard.

I mostly remember it cause after a while in school, I noticed all the male teachers were trying to grow theirs. I attribute it to them having a student who at 14 had a better mo than most of them ever could.
It was mildly amusing. Having said that though my brother was totally unco, and not really that attention worthy. It's not about the mo, it's about what you know. Imo.

Yes, your theory is not overdue nor a non sense.
But we must verify that Sir Miyamot0 wanted a bigger audience, and a more rich Mario universe. I keep remembering people I envy his conceptions, art and imagination. But I'm not obligated to accept everything, because 1. a dozen developers/companies allied with Nintendo made new Mario franchise, so they added up many novelties, and tons of 'time breaking' epochs, and 2. each person has its own interpretations, mostly when he/she touched a Mario game during his/her infancy.

Below, its just my opinion about how I see Mario (so far). Its a thing that may not change anymore in this life (in regard to my opinions as a classic Mario player).

I am a 'selector', like most of game critics. We choose what is more expected and then this end up being a kind of cult, a 'sub class' of Mario universe. I am no exception of this.
I'm a bit of 'forever alone' in Mario world because I'm really a bit 'ancient' (I already said this, I think on page 320, or lesser). So, for me, Mario Bros Super Show WAS the starting point and the end point or my 'entrance' as a Mario fan. Then, SMB1,2,3 and SMRPG. I just want to retain that classic world, meaning Mario as a pure plumber, who is adult (20+), chubby, LOVES pizza and he's a bit ditzy (Luigi is smarter). Medieval / Fairy worlds, no modernity (like airplanes, golf, etc), except if its an alien tech, or an E.Gadd invention. A feeling of 'Lord of Rings' (where we have tons of terrain to explore, regions without enemies/friends, like a virgin land). Then we reach mushroom kingdom and villages, where everything is calm and classic enemies appear in.

I see Peach not being an official mother (even if Miyamot0 does that someday). Peach is always that cute princess. In games like MIM PUT, Mario can marry her in the end, but this is just because I wanted to see this finally happening. After this, its up to the player to imagine how they will live and if they will have children or not. If my opinion counts for any reason here, I see them living as one being, with 101% fidelity . But I wont see them having a child. Maybe Mario is sterile (in my mind). Why this? Thats because I envision them being always young, strong and cute lovers. A kind of an ethernal enchantement of passion and discovery. Peach and Mario would rule the mushroom kingdom like Peter Pan (again, its just my view, my wishes since infancy). Anyway, I wont explore any of this in MIM PUT, after the endings. So, I dont care if Toyloli is right about Mario adult and Peach adult is now married and with children, with the following Mario games being Mario Jr. I only want to keep feeling that endless world of our classic Mario.

Moreover, we should see in this game what the default Mario games didnt explore, like obscure characters, new plots... Its like an endless feeding, a connection with that universe who has no end. Mario and his adventures. Finally, MIM PUT should be a game we can explore Peach inner desires and thoughts, her scepter being used as a pleasure object (and she still doesnt want anyone to discover), and her need to fight (or fuck) the koopalings in order to proceed. If she loves them or not, if she loves to be kidnapped or not, is up by the player. YOU make that story, not the creators. We need freedom to create our own story, its nice and we can create new situations ;)

Fixed the Sir Grodus bug. But I did nothing new in the past hours, maybe later.

Wait! By parts.
1. When we play the game, buy items, then RESTART the game (new game), all inventory items wont be there anymore, because its a freshy new game. It they still appear, its a bug.
2. When we play the game, buy items, SAVE the game, then RESTART the game, all inventory itens wont be there as well, BUT LOADING a game should give them back.
3. When we play the game, buy items, then go to worldmap, the inventory items should be there. If we go to another level, then go back to worldmap (or a new worldmap), the items should STILL be there.

I've had beard since 18 but I prefer a shaven face.
