You like to be a bit nitpicky (this is good for some situations, not all).

So, I will be a bit nitpicky too.
Instead of saying:

But she does stay stationary in the air all four times in her room:
- go to the door on the right, jump in the air and press left.
- Move to the shower room and instantly jump and hold left.
- Move to the camera on the right and jump before hitting the trigger.
- Move back to the first room and jump at the 1st/2nd locker.
Are these all supposed to act like that?


You would say:

Ivan, please listen. I noticed some small cosmetic glitches that arent supposed to happen. I dont know if you talked about them earlier, if so, please pardon me, but either way:
- go to the door on the right, jump in the air and press left.
- Move to the shower room and instantly jump and hold left.
- Move to the camera on the right and jump before hitting the trigger.
- Move back to the first room and jump at the 1st/2nd locker.

Can you fix those? Anyway its only cosmetic things, It wont impact gameplay.


IvanAedler: Hmmmmmm you're right, Quiz. Well, those require me much time to fix, so I'll be checking those only if they're critical, or if its locking the game up, or if its really ugly.

Actually, it's the camera which becomes a bit stationary.
Those slight cosmetic things don't require to be bothered. It will only make new features more and more far away to be done.

When I say 'she's on the air', I mean when she jumps, then a dialogue appears in (or those sound boxes messages). This was fixed months ago due to cosmetic purposes.

Yeah, you meant the text box appears while Peach is in mid-air right? I meant that as well. I don't mind this, so I don't want you to fix it. That's not what I mentioned them, I mentioned them because I thought you didn't want any (that's what I made up out of your response).

That doesn't work well. I can't stop being nitpicky, because it's a part of me, so you'd need an extra coder, to take some work load off you. Plus, I'd have a different person to complain to. :D

Updated again with more fixes. Peach might not be always invisible anymore (after the potion effects vanishes inside Grodus room), in case you reloaded 9-3. Other glitches fixed.
I know you might not have time to test it (and lurkers SHOULD know there are fewer testers, thats why some bugs last), but anyway, the game is UP (page 1).

But I am creating yet another version DONE! because x-nauts werent coming from doors in certain non expected situations. And I'll create a way to make them appear again early in the level (an alarm system!)

I'm not angry or something against you, I only feel bugged / annoyed / 'demanded' sometimes.

EXCEPTION: The brain and our bodies, once we grow. We cant just cut an arm, expecting another one will rise.
BUT we can 'cut' a given habit, in exchange for others that can make everything better.

I always remind you (things that can help):
1 - SPORTS!! I need to make them. Asian is doing the Gym and he invited me.
2 - You should try to focus on something else (in regard to looking at the past or losing too much time finding the nooks and crannies). I see that you get SO MUCH focused on some games, like you're in a truck in a flooded area. Instead of going away there, you keep forcing the car engines, going back and forth in that area. The NEWS will refresh us. Things that were already discussed can be re-discussed once we have a new perspective, and if its interesting to debate. I do appreciate glitch debates, I'm not saying I'm not listening to any. On the contrary. But we just need to be like the past: enthusiasm, ideas for world 4, dialogues! Scenes! Some encounter ideas, etc. Thats is the way to progress.

So things we REALLY need to focus at:
1. more dialogues and encounter scenes (like a Toad blocking a passageway, asking to kiss Peach butt in order to break a bad spell). Get an excel file full of dialogues that needs to be changed. I know I still need to make Daisy as a NPC, so I can work with Peach and Daisy scene in the palace (world 2).
2. more levels. The haunted mansion level (4-o), 9-1 level, 9-2 level, 4-5 level and 4-6 level (giant levels).
3. Make more scenes, so people can discuss about. I also need to finish chomp scenes and shyguy ones, and add Chompette, from ThatGuy and two other men who helped.
4. I am waiting for Toyloli with the new castle, and Luftmallow with frontside Daisy (in pause menu) and new possible outfits.
5. I am waiting for ThatGuy with more scene ideas and its depictions. But he's away for a while. Without this, I will need to create scenes from scratch using creativity, like X-naut 1.

It's a very small thing, I know, so I'm sorry about this. Like Quiz I am extremely nitpicky. I am trying to help out even if it's an extremely small thing and has little to no impact on the game itself. I really like the little details and sometime it drives me mad! Again, I'm sorry!

I know that's a situation you created, but really, people are complaining about Peach's eyes being off beat by a microsecond? I know I'm being hypocritical here but that's silly talk! Yeah it's definitely frustrating and sometimes I can't help it. Although I won't complain about things like there being no updates (because I can read them on the first page), I'll try to control my nitpicking on more noticeable things that are effecting the game itself. If there's something truly wrong with Peach, I'll sound off as well.

That'll be good. I haven't got the update that featured the X-Naut scene so I can't discuss it, but I'll do that as well. And new Chomp and Shy Guy scenes? Yes please! ... Who are the others?

Its just an example. Some said before of those minimal glitches in some Peach scenes. Its hardly noticeable and the goal is not to make a 100% aligned scenes, but just decent enough for us to fantasize. Our brains can envision a group of objects which is not consecutive/joined 100%, you know that. So those situations really need to be skipped, otherwise I'll be using months and months improving a given thing 2,3,4,5,10 times, when the second time was enough.

X-naut scene -> Page 1 LOK. You can check it right away if you press the elevator red button (it will trigger an alarm).
As for Chomp and ShyGuy, I will think about them. Other scenes : Wiggler and punio first scenes. Larry scene being done by Blargh. The process is going on well, just slowly.

I tested this out too, and ran into a HUGE BUG, peach has no shadow!!! I took a screenie for you.

And the crab on the right has wrong shadow positioning!
And they are synchronized! That cant happen. Every enemy has freedom of animation, in a random way, so the crabs would be raising and lowering hands in different timers.

The mug is there! Who has taken it from the pub? Flavio?

Before banging our heads....
The shadow can be added to Peach character, but this will have problems in some poses like laying. I will require a new shadow graphic for a different Peach pose. Of course, the standing up ones can be just a circle. In classic Mario games, we dont have that shadow commonly (exception: games like TTYD). And, once I add that shadow, I will need to add shadow to all enemies. And I wont add a gradient one. Maybe an alpha one at max, otherwise we will get a needless performance drop if we have more than 20 enemies with 'shadow scaling mechanism', according to their distance to the ground.

Also fun fact, for months I thought your avatar was Nicholas cage staring at his hand, for real. Took me a while to see the 3 holes and I was like "oooohh". Mind flip.

More updates to the current version 2.0.8, with the addition of more ambiance effects on palaces (like earthquakes and bombing).

The mug will be in the game. But we must be more realistic in regard to the bazooka. It should be only the mug. Bazooka maybe in some scenes of if the mug becomes angry.

And Peach would need to jerk it to drink something from it ;) Maybe he can close his top and ask the 'drinker' to use his thing.
We need to make the first step!

I think they're too big and horizontal to be there all the time. And the color is too green, too explicit. But not a problem to make it take its bazooka if Peach says something, or if he says Rape and Plunder.

Yes, the dick can be removed (actually, 'retracted inside of him') and it could increase (being explicit) if Peach is about to drink it.

Most of the things there are movable, including the dick and bazooka. I am no expert in bazookas to I basically half assed one from TF2, and cause sadly I lack a dick, not a pro at drawing them either <.< So really feel free to improve the bazooka or change/remove the dick, I meant for that to happen.

There's only one pirate bazooka mug, he is unique. Also, I thought it would just be a cool item, I didn't think it was going to talk, or do stuff to Peach. It's just a pirate bazooka mug.

This mug will carry special drinks. The mug might talk to Peach before drinking, and Peach might have to jerk him off. I say MIGHT. In the beginning, we will only see her taking the mug and drinking the juice inside normally. Then I'll see if its interesting to create a scene before that.

Having two or other pirate mugs is another interesting idea, be it pure clones or 'normal mugs', that is, without the blind and the teeth and in a brown color, to adornate the shelves.
I hope we can see more Quiz sketches. We might find out something to put in the Dojo (A Buda-like deity? Samurai items?)

Anyways, I'm supposed to be working on school stuff right now, yet I had a great idea for a script and didn't let it go to waste. I wrote a script, that is exactly two pages in length (except for the sexual part) and is based off this picture:

Bowser isn't in it though. I'll leave your creative minds flowing, the script will be seen in the game eventually. (I'll decide if I keep this to myself until the scene is made, or upload this for public viewing. I'm currently leaning on keeping it to myself, but you people might be able to sway me in the opposite direction.)

The best part about it is that I also wrote the second version, in case Peach does it again. I need to do this for every script that will be in the game. I just had this creative spike today, I guess. Well, that's all for now, gotta do some school work.

The Faraday's Cage was discovered by accident. Good things / novel things needs a spark from nowhere to be discovered. You have those magic, I already told you that. Remember Charlieton? How a cute scene it ended up! And the treetops! You just gave an idea, and a spark (from nowhere!) made me also create the wooden pine houses ;)

Oh I see..the picture I've seen twice or three times from Yurinicolau. A scene he would love to see too. Again, that gloryhole area might be set:
- inside bathrooms (pub, prison and peach castle)
- in her closet (I still need to see if that playshape's closet model can be used there).
So we can use this scene.

And I go a bit beyond. We can use the same animations, with a bit of difference, to let us see Peach doing almost the same thing in different places.
E.g. in all three beds (Mario Pad, Peach Castle and X-naut level) , Peach does almost the same (I use the same animations) with a bit different flow. This is good because we reuse 'her'. Its the same character, after all. We can raise our hands almost the same way everywhere if we want. Why not her?

Keep it until we have an area with a closet and an inicial animation of Peach going there. Trust me, once we have the initial steps done, its easier to make the remaining ones.
But the idea is really interesting. Gloryhole scenes will be in the game.

Keep on it!! This is the right way. I wont be making one scenes only. I dont like repetition. Some can exist, but the player wont notice this, because every scene has a novelty/different on it, be it obvious, be it subtle.

Yeah. Gomenasai, apologies, muchos spagetti and erk!
For the past three weeks my Nanna has been in town. Prior to this I hadn't seen her for years, and she's at the age where for all I know it could be the last time I see her. So for the past three weeks the castle got put entirely on hold.
The good news is that I have all the objects from Soloids design work broken down, and I've just been going through and optimising some of his graphics so they take up the fewest number of points possible. Long work.
I have already (as you know) designed the layout of the castle.
Nanna left town Yesterday Morning.

With luck and timing this means This Week I'll be able to sit down and re-assemble the graphics to match the new castle design we already agreed on.
The difficult part will be, the new layout will contain a total of six doors leading back and forth between two areas, possibly three, about five ladders to climb, and opportunities to hunt down power ups or Easter eggs as the overall area will be much bigger.
This means we should try to sit down at some point and decide where certain toads and npc's will be and Ivan, you will need to either explain to me how to set up the ladders and stuff in the flash you gave me (unless you just want me to assemble the graphics and let you place the interactive components yourself)

In the castle layout we agreed upon I had the glory hole in the toilet (where they usually are) with toads sticking it through from their bathroom into her toilet. I imagine if and when we work on filling out the town and or pub, we can use the same concept there. A hole from the mens toilet through to the women's.

No problem. I use no door limitation. Each door has its own collision check.

As for toads, we dont need to be so dictatorial here. I can put them according to what to expect. I prefer to have some freedom here. But if you/Quiz/Lurker has some ideas, I'm all ears. Yes, I prefer to put the interactive components based on your layout placement. Thats because if a given ladder image is new/revamped, I can transform it to a MC and put the general ladder's code for Peach to climb.

Yes we can. For the pub, we can make a pencil sketch / MS paint one first, and we can have a ladder image (stairs), so Peach can click on it and she will go to the second floor, which is the bathroom. Or just make the bathroom on the left of the pub (a simple door). And we might use more holes, not just one ;) But for now, for simplicity (and in order to be implemented faster) let's follow the 'just one hole' method.

So im lookin at this poll here and im wondering...how come we dont just make it a random girl each time? Variety for the player. So at first you will be with toadella, but once you leave and come back its a different girl. Just a small suggestion on my stop here ^_^

I'm just baffled by this poll.
How are half of these even supposed to work? Daisy is there? What about the first meet-up at world 2 then? Are we supposed to make writing for the characters even more complex? It's already complex enough as is, Ivan, I don't see any way I can write this well. Same goes for Krystal. Wouldn't it destroy the magic a bit if you just find her at the castle, bathing Peach? Why would she do that? Why is she allowed to do that?
Rosalina too. The whole thing is that she's at the end of World 9, being there as a special bonus character of sorts and she now just swoops down to wash a princess she barely knows?

Now, I am against Toadella too, because she isn't from any Mario game. She was just made up by Blargh. The only reason she is in the game, is because you never took her out. I don't think we can see this as a rule to keep her in. Cameo appearances? I'm cool with that. But, Toadella falls into a different category.
So, that would just leave two options: Peach on her own and your choice.

Sorry Ivan, but this is something I had to get off my chest.
